Great office and plenty of parking.
This is the main post office in Miami. It can get packed at certain times and during certain deadlines such as tax day.
The staff is friendly but yes they can probably be irritated if they get asked the same questions all day.

Best place to send packages always delivered.

I love this post office. I've been coming here for years mainly because they are the rare few locations that close at 9pm!! There used to be long lines here pre-pandemic, but after some changes with how you can drop off your packages instead of waiting in line for a counter staff there is hardly a line when I go after 7pm now. I know that during the pandemic there were issues with mail being stuck pending and taking a long time to go out but it looks like those issues are worked out now. They have a huge parking lot so other than the rare occasion where I have to park a little farther from the door, almost 90% of the time I go here I am able to park on the first row near the entrance.

Did my digital fingerprints here very fast. Staff was very nice. Not like the Jose Marti Post office that made me do a line to send me here “because system was down”… to later find out that they send people here just to avoid doing their job. Come straight to the main office. What a difference!

I have been a freight forwarder in the Doral area for almost 15 years. In the past I have had my frustrations with USPS. In between misdelivered packages, packages marked as delivered when they are not and issues with communication- I was feeling incredibly frustrated with the service in the area. Over the last year however, I can see and feel the difference. It’s not perfect yet, but the staff is putting in the effort to fix the system. Starting with my delivery carrier, I would like to give a special mention to Jenifer (Argentinean serving 33166). She is amazing. She is professional and cares about our packages. Errors still happen, the Doral area is busy and the USPS team works tirelessly so I understand errors are inevitable. But errors also give the opportunity to provide solutions and that’s exactly what she does- she helps with every tracking I send her way. I would also like to shout out her supervisors ( I don’t have their names), but they provide her with the foundation to be resourceful and helpful. They work hand-in-hand with her to help us solve problems and locate packages. If I could give you guys 10 stars, I would. Thank you for working hard to improve. I see you, I see your efforts and as a small business owner, I am deeply grateful.

I love that they are open later than other offices

They are an approved centre that does fingerprinting for the FBI background check certificate (Police Clearance). Try and go there around noon as its not crowded and you will get your work done in about 15 minutes. Only one staff member available, so that could cause some long wait times and issues during peak hours. However, I had a good experience and would recommend their services to anyone who needs to request for a background check. There is a $50 fee, but your prints get sent directly to the FBI system and you will have an e-copy of your certificate sent to your email within hours. This is much quicker than having to manual roll your fingerprints with ink and mail the physical copy to the FBI. Saves you about 2-3 weeks of processing time.

READ if it's your first time getting a passport/new passport: Having had my first passport when I was about three years old, I was unfamiliar with the process of obtaining a passport. I was frustrated trying to find a place that accepted walk ins and an appointment time that worked with my work schedule. All of the reviews to almost every post office near me were absolutely terrible. Including this one but I was so irritated and desperate so I booked an appointment here and I am SO glad I did. SONIA was extremely helpful and friendly. I did have an appointment but she told me they accept walk ins if shes not busy and its early in the morning. After 12pm it's a no go. Weekends are worse. She was extremely pleasant and sweet; she speaks English and Spanish. She explained everything so well and walked with me through the application process to make sure everything was correct. I paid for a money order there with my debit card. It totalled $146.20. I cannot stress enough how helpful Sonia was. I admire her patience because I know I could not do her job. She deserves to be recognized for her great service. Despite the terrible reviews, I must give this beyond five stars if I could. You can also get your passport picture taken here. I hope this helps someone because I was lost! Also, I brought a copy of my birth certificate and license but they can do it there also.

Went in to renew passport on a Saturday morning without an appointment. The staff was really attentive and helped me out even though their policy states you have to have an appointment. They were really kind and patient in assisting me with everything I needed. I was in and out within an hour. Thank you usps!

Great customer service and convenient hours

I was highly impressed, particularly with Vijay and Elias enthusiasm, communication skills and professional demeanor when i walked-in today and requested for assistance to enroll on in-person ID verification for informed mail delivery. They were really helpful and wonderful staff. Its a great USPS branch.

Latosha is a gem who gives diamond quality service. After reading customer reviews, I went in here with my fists up ready to brawl. What a pleasant surprise encountering the opposite of what I was expecting. Excellent customer service was my experience, thanks to Latosha.

Only post office in the area with a 24 hour service kiosk and larger package drop-off.
For that, I give it 5 stars because you can ship off a package without having to interact with anyone who may be contaminated.

After reading the reviews, I thought I'd get punched in the face walking in.... but truth on the ground is THIS WAS A WONDERFUL POST OFFICE EXPERIENCE. Ms. Irma met me while I was waiting in line and checked me out (2 priority boxes) there, WHILE WAITING. IT WAS AWESOME, like the Chik-Fila drive through. highly recommend. Respectfully Submitted.

The employees at this location are very helpful, they go out of their way to help you with their service in anything you may need from that location. The managers are very helpful and on top of things. It is a very organized and convenient location, which is open for our convenience till 9:00 pm during the weekdays. I highly recommend this location.

General Mail Facility is a JOKE. I went there on 3/21/2016 and got there at 8:55 PM. They are supposed to close at 9:00 PM. When I told the man at the door that I had 5 min , he said my time on my phone was wrong even though 2 others next to me had the same time. Then when I told then I was going to complain, they just laughed it off. They are a disgrace.
