The Dali Museum is quite the experience a d absolutely worth making it a highlight of any trip to the area. The parking is $10 for all day and can be limited but we found it no issue.

No backpack type bags are allowed and only disposable water bottles are allowed (first floor only). Luckily they have free lockers just outside the museum to stow your stuff, especially if you like to carry water like me and want to go upstairs to see Dali’s works.

I suggest you purchase the tickets ahead of time because it can get crowded/busy and you want to ensure your entry.

The outing will be pricey, especially if you add on the “360 experience”, some snacks, drinks at the cafe and of course…the souvenir shop.

At first we weren’t going to do the “360 experience” but decided on it last minute since we already made the trip out there. I have to say it was worth it! We absolutely loved it and found it inspiring and moving. We’d do it again.

Plan a trip to The Dali Museum and give yourself time to enjoy all it has to offer.
The art pieces themselves are incredible and I could’ve easily spent all day here, there’s truly a lot to see, especially if you read about each piece.

There’s a small theater that plays Dali’s life story on repeat, which we enjoyed. The building itself is gorgeous and something Dali would’ve loved!

Such a great and interactive museum which kept adults and kids engaged. It has an activity that uses AI to make your image into a piece of art and interactive app that animates different parts of the paintings and tells you about each. The Cafe at the museum was stellar. My whole family enjoyed Spanish food on the patio. Lovely!

We had a fantastic long half day at the Dali. It exceeded our high expectations! Very extensive collection and highly experienced, knowledgeable and enthusiastic docents and guides. On top of that an excellent restaurant. We look forward to another visit. We recommend planning to stay at least 3 hours.

First time at this location, hadn't been since the 90's. I love Salvador Dali, my favorite artist for decades. We spent a little extra for the 360 experience, totally worth it. The coolest part was the AR app that made the paintings come to life. Staff were great, prices reasonable.

Beautiful museum! This is a must visit if in the area. Our favourite artist! The museum is set up so nicely, beautiful area to view paintings. We love that you could get so close to the paintings and could see the paint strokes!

There were many works by Dali, and I was able to learn about the process by which his style changed. Dali's wife was depicted in many of his works. I wasn't that interested in Dali, but I wanted to know more about him. The garden was cute, and there were plenty of souvenir in the shop and they had cafe to relax. In DALI ALIVE 360°, Dali's paintings were moving, and very interested.but it made my neck hurt to look around.

Beautiful and breathtaking art collection! This is definitely a must visit for Dalí fans. Hearing one of the museum curators talk about the history of some of the pieces was truly an honor. I was blown away of how unique each piece was. We were there early afternoon around 1pm- not a lot of people so we were able to enter normally. They also have a gift shop if you like collecting souvenirs. Make sure to get your tickets online to guarantee entry. I definitely recommend visiting this museum.

The museum offers an amazing journey into Dali's artwork stemming from the depths of his and our subconsciousness. The museum doesn't seem very large from the outside, but I spent there almost 6 hours, so my advice is "Take your time and explore it in detail"! The "360° experience" in the dome outside in the garden is so much worth the ticket, please don't miss it when you visit, and I would even recommend to start with it, so it will be a sort of guide for the rest of your visit. It is true that Dali paintings are like icebergs - only 10% of the meaning is straightforwardly perceived. For the rest, you need to think and delve into hidden symbols, structures and even mathematics. Hence, I strongly advise you to take the guided tour. The docent, who guided our tour really opened my eyes to the non-obvious messages in Dali's artwork. This museum is an absolute MUST if you live or visit St. Petersburg, Florida!

Amazing art collection!!! It's definitely worth checking out if you like Dali. The building itself is interesting, the spiral staircase in the center of the cafe is a cool feature. Dali 360 show (costs extra) was awesome for making his art come alive and for a timeline of his life. There's a cafe and a gift shop inside the museum.

It's an amazing exhibition for anyone who is in love with art. Spent 4 hours. If there are more than two parties, do your math, and buy membership. Enjoy each minute in awesome environment

I had such an incredible time at the Salvador Dalí Museum! The art blew my mind and went beyond what I expected. Initially, I thought I'd just pop in for a bit, but I got so engrossed that I decided to grab an annual pass. The museum has this awesome vibe, and everything is meticulously maintained. If you're into art, it's an absolute must-visit. I personally loved every moment! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Wonderful museum, if you have time when in St. Pete's you should go. Enjoyed the coffee bar as well. My only tip or comment would be if you go to the 360 show, go early, we paid for 3 people and chairs were gone so we had to sit on floor, made that part not a good experience.

I always wanted to visit this museum as it houses the 2nd largest collection of Dali works— the largest collection being being in Spain— so, once I knew I’d be in the area, I decided to go. Luckily, it was a Thursday, so it was half-price after 5p. I was staying in the hotel just a block or so away, so I walked. I did purchase my ticket online in advance, and there was a short wait to get in. There is a little cafe, and I ate my evening meal there— it was good food, and there is a bar and a number of tables both inside and outside. It’s by the water so it’s a nice view, and the architecture is beautiful. Dali art, like all art, is subjective, and it’s not really my style. I find most of it too abstract for my tastes, though he does have a few paintings that are beautiful. But, as I said, I always wanted to visit this museum so it was a must-see for me. I joined a free museum tour, and it was very informative. No regrets!

It's an amazing museum. I'm old school and still miss the old tiny Dali museum that the big works busted out of and no one came to but as we grow and change this new museum attracts so much attention. We went on Thursday for lower rates, don't bring a bag with back pack straps and if you get hungry go to the Polish Club on Beach Drive after for "Thirsty Thursdays" for reasonable food and drinks prices and overwhelming hospitality. It's only 6 miles away.

It's an awesome museum if you like Dali 's art. I love it. It's really unique and geniusly painted. If you come to enter at 5:30 pm it's 1/2 price. Get the tourist brochure to have an additional $3 off. But you might miss the outdoor garden. We came in winter so it's dark after 6:30 pm.

The museum was beautiful and educational. Learning about the artist, Salvador Dali, and the things and people who inspired his art was such a fun experience. The gift store is packed with stunning merchandise celebrating not just Salvador Dali, but also many other well-known artists. The small garden out behind the museum is fun and whimsical, and the surrounding seating area offered stunning views of the area and waterfront. My favorite part of the exhibit was the area where you can take a selfie and the exhibit transitions that selfie into an impressionistic art piece.

The Dalí has been my favorite museum since I was a teen. I used to frequent the first location but this location is amazing!! I was so excited to take our daughter to see my favorite Artist’s paintings. I loved the knowledgeable Art experts that were giving tours. The outside garden is absolute beautiful. I felt like I was in Spain. Cute gift shop with a lot of cute merchandise. I would highly recommend this museum to anyone.Dali’s most popular paintings are here. I loved it more than the Picasso museum ( Museu Picasso) in Barcelona.

The museum itself was wonderful and a beautiful experience. The paintings are amazing. The outside garden was also beautiful. We did the Dalí Alive 360 which is well worth it!! The food was a bit expensive 😞 and pay for parking 10$ but glad there was parking . There were quite a-lot of people and loud in the museum so kinda had to rush then go back to read the ones we missed. Over all it was a great experience. Also, every worker we had contact with was so friendly!!

A nice day out to St. Pete to visit the Dali Museum. Beautiful grounds on the water, nearby restaurants, convenient parking. The Dali current has an exhibit with watercolors on loan from the Boston Museum of Fine Arts. We visited on a Sunday and the website was not allowing was not functioning to purchase tickets and as so many times open was able to purchase on the spot in person with a reserved time for entrance to Dali 360. The Dali has food and gift shop on first floor along with some private rooms, bathrooms, etc and exit to garden outdoor and 360 building. The upper level is where the art is housed.and there are elevators and stairs. The permanent exhibition of Dali work is on one side and the visiting artwork along with some Dali was interspersed in the opposite side. If you want to use the Dali app for a self tour I recommend you load it before visiting as inside the gallery I couldn't 't get mine to load. This is equivalent to any world glass museum in detailed signage explaining artwork, etc. You can take as much time as you like viewing the art and was never too crowded. There are some benches scattered about the gallery if you want to sit and wait until a crowd passes a piece to get a better view and appreciation of the art.

The upstairs has a beautiful view out to the marina and is a great photo opportunity. There are some interactive exhibits and activities in the app. I liked the virtual reality area where you donned googles and some imagery similar to the 360 experience.

Dali 360 was interesting. The building is domed and projects a film in 360 so each side is approximately showing the same thing. There are folding chairs placed in a circle and it seemed to have a better view sitting closer to the wall than in the center. There was sound accompanying but all words were projected on the walls and had to be read. I would have preferred narration as if you were looking elsewhere when text appeared missed a few last words as disappeared before finished reading. For the $15 add on fee I would recommend to view it once. The museum admission for adults is $29 with a $2 senior discount, there are other discounts for students, children, military, etc. Parking was $10 and adjacent to the museum so a few steps to the entrance. Found all the staff to be pleasant and. helpful..

Had a great visit and learned much about this artist. Saw the 360 exhibition which was great. Plenty of artwork, garden, coffee snack bar and huge gift shop. Very nice friendly staff. Wasn’t very busy which made it great. $10.00 to park.
