Aviation Park

It’s a nice place for a walk. The park has everything you will need. Play area is nice and unique, good size grass play ground where you can sit and relax. Watching the airplane land is a good feeling. Sunsets are pretty. They have clean restroom and a plane hanging in there for pictures. It gets hot during summer. They do have a shade area with benches

Nice park. Currently there are beautiful art pieces on exhibit at the park. We got to see plane lowering & enjoyed the swings!

Aviatian Park is on the corner of a busy intersection (Cobb Place Boulevard & Barrett Lakes Boulevard). Ample Free Parking with a fantastic view of the landing airstrip at McCollum Airport. Covered picnic area overlooking a special playground to help kids learn science & math. Connecting bike paths from Kennesaw University to Town Center to downtown Kennesaw I’m guessing. This is the future of transportation. Get outta your car and walk or bike or fly!! And learn something right in front of us. Thanks

Very cool park! Definitely tailored to older kids, not my 4 & 2 year olds, but they still had a ton of fun! My biggest complaint is no shade, but surprisingly none of the metal was dangerously hot. Has a nice covered picnic area and bathrooms nearby, too! Fenced in parks are so rare, and makes me feel so much more comfortable. We will definitely be back when my boys are a little older!

Fun park with a great view of the planes flying overhead from nearby airport. Has a nice place for parents to sit in the shade while kids play on the playground.

Good place to watch the planes come and go. Typically you'll be on the arrival side so you'll have landing planes coming over top of you.

I recommend an app like flight radar or flightaware so you know if / when they are coming.

The aviation stuff doesn’t interest me, but you should go there to see the gorgeous sunset in August when the yellow flowers are abloom!

My family loves this place. It has a high-quality playground with some features that I have never seen anywhere else. There are electronic/video games if you will integrated into the equipment like the jungle gym etc. it has nice restrooms and big open meadow for sports a large parking area And looks over the McCollum field airport runway. One thing I like about this park is that it is open late night this is very cool because you can attend while the runway is lit up at night. It’s fascinating to see the colorful lights and the planes taking off and landing. It’s also kept very clean we’ve always had a good experience here.

Perfect pit stop for the family and dog to stretch their legs! Nice bathrooms and big open space. For the short time we were there we even got to see two different type of planes fly over us! Very cool spot.

My kids love it here...nice small park and we love watching the planes go by.

Great open field with unique playground equipment

Lovely spot with a small but enjoyable park area. Picnic tables close enough for parents to watch but shaded and out of the way. Lots of things to learn about planes!

The real draw for this park is seeing the planes take off from the local airport (hence the name). One of the playsets has some games programmed into it as well. Absolutely a delightful park for kids. The concrete trail also looks meticulously maintained

Because I love watching planes take-off and land. Especially turboprops. I love the sound of jet-props.

A very nice park! Of course, watching the planes land is such a treat as well! My children love going here! Nice open spaces, and large sidewalks for walking are nearby.

Great park with cool, interactive play equipment! Clean bathrooms but no family restroom. (men's room was out of toilet paper so not certain how often it gets checked) Plenty of parking. Nice big grass area for kicking balls, throwing frisbees, or just running around. Covered area with tables and two charcoal grills is adjacent to the playground entrance.

Clean, well-maintained. We like that the play area is enclosed by a fence so we can manage our little grandchildren more easily. It's fun watching their excitement when the planes fly over to land nearby.

It's a small park, but has plenty of open space to play in and a great view of planes coming and going from the airport. Our preschooler loves seeing the airplanes and just generally running off some of her energy here, even if the equipment isn't quite her size.

Probably the best park to view the sunset from, with an added bonus of planes overhead. This park has a wonderful jungle gym and swing set with disk swings which are my personal favorite. Has bathrooms on site aswell. I skate by this often on my way from the bellsferry noonday creek entrance.
