OMG!!! I absolutely love Mama's Kitchen!! Some of the friendliest people I've ever met and a very impressive menu!! The food was absolutely divine!! I had the Big Pig Platter with Brunswick Stew and tater logs. My husband chose the Brisket Plate with potato salad and baked beans. The ribs were very tender and just melt in your mouth!! The stew was good too (and it's hard to find some good stew in my opinion). And please try the strawberry lemonade!! All plates come with two sides and free refills on the tea and lemonade. And yes, this is a food truck but they have an outdoor seating area (with tvs) if you want to eat there.

Amazing food a service. Have been eating here the past few years and never had a bad meal . Best steak , salmon, ribs and I can keep naming . Better the. Your grandmas sides !! Love to support a small business who appreciates our business! Thanks for always being delicious!!!

You need to stop here when in Barnesville if you want a superior BBQ experience. With a variety of proteins including beef, pork, chicken, and fish, you won't leave hungry. Sides include deep fried okra, baked beans, potato salad and more. All the proteins are carefully grilled and smoked on premise with the smoke from the grill magnetically drawing you in. I recently had pork chops that defied my historical view of a pork. Mama's Kitchen pork chops are called Neanderthal and they are just that. Big. Juicy. Tender to gently cut with a fork. Grilled and smoked to perfection. Like all the food here, these pork chops are the food equivalent of crack. Stop in and eat hearty!

09/07/23- I stand by the older review that I left, I do however wish there was a way to improve call in orders. Twice this week I’ve tried unsuccessfully to place a call in. I guess when your food is that good, call ahead orders just get the luck of the draw.
Initial thoughts were that it was pricey for lunch for 3 people. Let me just say, I’ll gladly pay the prices again. We had a Brisket Philly with onion rings, a Chicken Sandwich with Curley Fry’s, and a Big Mike’s Chicken Philly with okra. All of our meals were seasoned to perfection. The portions were on point. Sweet tea was awesome.Service was fantastic. In my opinion, the prices were in line with the quality of what we received. I think our total was around 45$ but let’s be honest, this day in time you can drop 30-35$ at the fast food joints for three full meals and I promise they don’t compare to Mama’s! See you all again very soon.

This place was a hidden gem for us! NOT ANYMORE! Now, I need to catch up on the other menu choices! Places like this put something in their service that the "big chains" don't. Its called heart! This place rocks...I got the "Big Paul" Steak Philly with HOT Crinkle Cut Fries and 2 COLD can cokes. I had to eat it all right then in the parking lot in my work van. Waiting was not an option. I will be back next weekend.

We drive 25 miles out of our way to get these ribs they're so good they just fall off the bone and melts in your mouth! And the house sauce is amazing, I haven't tasted anything quite like it anywhere! Other must haves are the Brunswick stew, pulled pork sandwich baked beans and the white cheddar Mac n cheese is to die for.

Always give local businesses praise when they do phenomenal work. Granted I don't eat there frequently, but when I do there's never a drop of disappointment. With living in the area I can't help but to beat myself up for not trying their food sooner because many people mentioned that "it's good but expensive" and to simply put it, that statement is incorrect. Even if you don't follow their specials for the day their pricing is very competitive. I'm an advocate for supporting small businesses and if their prices are the same or even a smidge more than billion dollar fake meat corporations than what's not to like? Food is great, service is great, and overall worth the visit!

The food's always fresh and up-to-date and the customer service is great and they get your food in a timely fashion I just like the fact that their food is never out of date it's always fresh

I highly suggest trying them. Everything taste southern homemade with a mama's touch. Prices are even great! The staff is also amazing! My sugar was dropping and they gave me a coke to help. I wish I could give 10 stars ♥

Amazing food, everything on menu is great, and one of the best philly cheese steaks you'll find.

We love the pulled pork sandwich with a butterflied smoked sausage on top! Exceptional! Worth the drive. Plenty of covered seating.

Huge, tasty meal in an unassuming gem. I wasn't sure what to expect when I pulled up, but being from small town south GA I knew this could be awesome and it was. Great, prompt service and tasty food. Had a sampler of pork, ribs and sausage and all were good but the ribs and sausage were my favorites. Highly recommend to anyone passing through!

I got the Bills Brikset Burger and it was delicious. I’d drive 2 hours to eat here. It was delicious!!

Ever heard of a hole in the wall? This is it with outstanding food! The menu is large, so are the burgers and sandwiches. Very fair priced for the quality. Don't pass it by !

A very highly recommended place for yummy juicy BBQ !!!!! This is a small roadside joint, but that shouldn't be a factor for judging the food here. The BBQ were simply out of the world! Must try if you are in the barnesville area !

We go there about twice a month and get the pork plates. Everything is always so good. The stew is awesome and their employees are really nice.

I ordered a regular Cuban sandwich, my husband ordered the pulled pork sandwich. & just for fun ordered another pulled pork sandwich and a Philly cheese steak with double the meat, for a family and friend. We both agree 👍 💯 🙌 👏 to always stop, and say hello to the wonderful people who put so much love into their cooking. It is pure love and joy when you eat anything off their menu. We were so hungry, we forgot to take pictures, twice! 😆🥰

I had gone hiking at High Falls and was looking for someplace new to eat. Based on their menu and 5-star rating, I decided to drive the 20 minutes out of the way.
