Steaks and lamb chops were cooked perfectly. The Oyster Rockefeller was outstanding.
Great place for friends or date night.

We had to wait two weeks to get a reservation but it was definitely worth the wait! This was one of the best steaks I’ve ever had. I’ve probably never been somewhere where it was cooked so perfectly (they ask you to cut it and make sure it’s to your liking!) I wish that there were options for sides like other steak places, but this wasn’t a major complaint. I’m just not an asparagus fan. We were celebrating a birthday dinner so we were given a complimentary piece of apple pie. This was one of the most decadent desserts I’ve ever had. Absolutely delicious. We also ordered the crème brûlée, but it just wasn’t as rich-especially compared to the pie. All in all, I would highly recommend this place and our family will definitely be back.

This is a great steakhouse. We didn't make a reservation, but we were able to find a spot at the bar. The staff was friendly and so were all the regulars we made friends with while waiting with our drinks. The steak was amazing. And although I wasn't paying, the prices were nice for a great steakhouse. Sides included. My steak was delicious. The crabcakes were unique and delicious, as well. The apple pie and cinnamon ice cream were worth every calorie. I will definitely beg going back!

I go to Annie Gunn's every year for my birthday. One of the best places to get a steak in St Louis, but also the best hamburger I've ever had anywhere. The desserts are second to none, and I highly recommend the apple pie. The service is always great and the atmosphere is laid back. You can show up in a suit, business casual or jeans and a collared shirt.

From the second we stepped through the doors we were treated special. We had our own private booth, which was perfect! Our server was very attentive and impeccable. Since we were celebrating a birthday, we were poured a complimentary glass of champagne. We ordered a cup of fabulous crab chowder along with their succulent smoked maple glazed shrimp for appetizers. Neither of them disappointed! We ordered a special of the night, a smoked 14 oz. ribeye with a chipotle pan sauce and served with mashed potatoes, asparagus, and butternut squash. Every bite was delectable and delicious! The steaks were cooked perfectly. Our server was very attentive to our every need and did his best to make our evening everything it could be. We were too full to have dessert, but we were still sent home with a complimentary piece of birthday, apple pie and ice cream. It was a magnificent dinner. One of the top birthday dinner celebrations we have had. We will be back.

Amazing all around! We enjoyed a couple off menu entrées. Definitely make a reservation well in advance.

Absolutely the best service anyone could ever ask for. Food was amazing. The flavor was off the charts!!

We had the absolute luck and pleasure of having Sam (Samantha) as our server both times we have been here. She made the dining experience a delight along with the incredible food. I’ve never had whipped potatoes this taste. The steak goes without saying, but it’s divine. We were surprised to learn today (7/28) was the first day the new addition was open and we were seated in it. The lighting is beautiful and we explored the additional rooms (Chef’s table, soon to be wine cellar, and the banquet hall). It truly blends with the original building and was tastefully executed.

This is and for a long time has been
one of the best restaurants in town. I've never been let down here and let me tell you it is absolutely refreshing to go out to eat and have a full staff that is happy to be there and taking pride in their work. Not only is the food top of the market but they've built an amazing culture and brand. I recommend the smoked seafood sampler I get that every time. Burger is phenomenal the soups are great and I usually get one of the sea food specials.

Annie Gunn’s is a St. Louis icon for fine food. Fresh, wild fish catches and oysters flown in daily. The salmon was excellent as was the halibut and walleye. Perfect meal for a Friday!

Old school establishment that quite frankly just does EVERYTHING right. We had a large group configuration and I got to try a handful of things including the crabcakes, the tartare, bbq shrimp/prawns the wings (which were SUPER), a juicy steak, and desserts. Every single dish was done excepcionally well, plus service was top notch too.

I've been a patron of Annie's since my childhood. The staff is like family. Everything is held to the highest standards. The environment is warm and friendly. The service is top-notch! The food and drinks are phenomenal. If in the area to grab a quick lunch, be sure to try the French dip with whipped potatoes! You won't be disappointed!

Outstanding service— Amber is amazing and pours a great martini! The food is always consistently delicious. When I do not order my go-to salad, I indulge in their famous classic cheeseburger (best burger I have ever had). I could go on and on about this place, you must check it out yourself!

Received a recommendation from a friend that this is as THE restaurant we had to visit. They weren’t wrong. It was standing room only and the bar man set us up to dine at the standing bar. Great service. Everyone to a person seemed proud to be working there. The manager came over right as dinner was ready and somehow found a small table for us to sit at. The food was 5 star. Ribeye was perfect. Dessert perfect.

I wish I had taken photos, but alas, I did not. My wife and I attempted to dine here a year ago for our anniversary. It was a Tuesday, and it was packed. Without a reservation, good luck. This year we had one! We were seated right away, and the wait staff was prompt and very informative of the food/ drink. Our plates were bare by the end of the evening. To our surprise, our dessert was complimentary for our celebration. Thank you, Annie Gunns. It is a bit pricey for us "common folk" to eat on a regular, BUT great food is worth it. I hope after this kidney sells I can enjoy again. (Jk on the kidney)

Excellent food, excellent service, and a warm, inviting atmosphere! We had reservations at another restaurant, but there had been some snow that afternoon and the other restaurant never bothered to call us to cancel our reservation. Rather, they just put a sign on the door saying closed due to weather. So we called Annie Gunn’s hoping they could work us in, and we are so happy that they did! Drinks were perfect and the tenderloin was excellent!

This is an amazing place to eat. You have to have deep pockets, because it is very pricey, but you truly get something for your money! All of the food we had was amazing and the service was impeccable. They are very vigilant about refilling drinks and providing for any need you might express. We were celebrating two birthdays and also got apple pie and ice cream: A-M-A-Z-I-N-G.

This was one of the best dining experiences my wife and I have had in a long time! We are big on customer service and attention to detail and they are top notch. Not only was it a beautiful setting for one of our rare date nights but the service was great. Mike the manager even stopped by to say hello, introduce himself and check on our experience!

Another great thing is that they have a wide variety of gluten free options, even bread for the starter.

All in all it's a great restaurant and a wonderful spot for a special occasion or a romantic date night.

Best burger I've had in a looooong time!!

Stopped in for dinner with my boss when we were in town for work. The pub ambiance here is very cool; bar in the center of the room with linen clothed dining tables all around.

The place was buzzing with patrons when we arrived at around 5:30. We were surprised to find that all the tables were booked until about 9 pm. No problem, we took a couple of seats at the bar where the bow-tied bartender Keith promptly took our drink order and supplied us with menus. We both selected "The Classic" burger; mine was med rare with Swiss cheese.

The burger was amazing... definitely a two-hander (I cut mine in 1/2). Perfectly cooked and piled with tomato, pickle, onion, and of course... bacon. The heaping portion of hot fries that came with were as generous as they were fresh.

This was the freshest, most delicious burger I ever remember having eaten in my life. Disclaimer, I don't remember every burger that I've eaten, but I'll likely NEVER forget this one!!

Excellent choose for a date night in St. Louis. We were greeted at our table with two small glasses of champagne and a very nice server. We both ordered the 6 oz. filet which was cooked perfectly at medium rare.

Would recommend making reservations early in advance as it was tough to get a 7:30 table for 2 on a Saturday evening.
