The Original Pancake House

The BEST pancakes I've ever had in my entire life! I understand that may sound like hyperbole, but you need to check this place out. 12+ varieties of pancakes, and plenty of other dishes for non-pancake lovers. Friendly staff, great atmosphere, and conveniently located in the Chesterfield valley. Wait times can be a little long, but it's absolutely worth it!

For the best experience possible I suggest you reserve a spot before going! I had the Irish Benedict and a single biscuit and gravy with a coffee. It was made well and had good flavor and the pic shows how it was presented. All in all had a great experience. Our waiter was on point and kind we left him 30% tip.

I’ve been wanting to come here for a while and finally did. The menu has a lot of options but it’s not overbearing; a lot of things just sound good. The fresh squeezed orange juice was perfect. I also really enjoyed the eggs and hash browns. I’ll for sure come back.

There was a wait and I believe there always will be because most good things take time lol. As soon as we were seated the awesomeness started from the servers, to the service, to the vibe in the building and not to mention the FOOD 🤤🤤. WE ENJOYED OUR VISIT. This is a must try at least once and I'm sure you will be back. We tried a lot of different things because it was our first visit and loved them all.

My new go to for breakfast. I’ll pay a little more but so worth it. Service was top notch. Food was high quality. BACON!!!! Best bacon around. Coffee was very good and I’m pretty picky about coffee. Try it and you won’t go back to your regular breakfast joint.

Came with my wife and son. We all really enjoyed our food. The food temperature was perfect like it just came off the griddle and was plated and taken straight to our table. The pancakes had that cast iron skillet crispness to them which I really enjoy.

Everyone was polite and the food was great I went early because there was a crowd but I always sit at the bar so I was seated as soon as I walked in. I ordered the Apple pancakes it can be shared, hash-browns and the fresh orange juice was amazing. The endless coffee with the mugs were a nice touch

Every time we go back to MO, we have to stop for breakfast here. The best food, service and atmosphere. Love this place.

The food and service were outstanding. I got the vegetable omelet, and my husband got eggs with bacon and hash browns. Both dishes came with pancakes. We brought home leftovers. My coffee was continually refilled without having to flag down a server. Great experience.

This place never disappoints. Their omelets are huge & delicious. I eat about a third of it there & take the rest home. The bacon & freshly squeezed orange juice is good. I really enjoy their lemon Dutch pancake..we get it at our table of 4 & share. When my sister from Nevada visits we always go there at least 2-3 times.

The best breakfast place around. Food delicious and plentiful. Dutch Baby is awesome, love their mild coffee. Service is excellent. Breakfast is pricey, but you get what you pay for, well worth it

Breakfast Professionals, absolutely worth the wait, all the little details that all other restaurants don’t really care about from really great coffee to hot, maple syrup and hot raspberry syrup, Really great stuff. Food is awesome, Lots of options that you will not find in other places and really well made, The wait is the only thing but I understand you can get in the line on yelp before you actually show up so that should be something, the wait is totally worth it. Really nice spacious areas large booths, large tables. Great place to bring your whole family.

Love that you can go online and get on the wait list!!! The Original Pancake House is my favorite breakfast spot. I absolutely love everything I've tried, and the bacon is fantastic, as well as the fresh, squeezed orange juice. Be prepared to wait 45-60+ minutes if you don't get on the wait list, but it is definitely worth the wait!!! Great good and exceptional service. It can get a bit loud, so be aware of that but definitely a restaurant to check out.

Very delicious breakfast food served here and always great service. Possibly my favorite and absolutely my go to restaurant for any morning munching needs. I've tried several menu items I'm unfamiliar with and haven't been let down yet. I'm convinced everything here is undoubtedly the best 👌

Wait was 1.5hr. but found seats at the bar with Liz. This place has great food and everything you want at a breakfast place. Sweet and savory. Liz was very informative and funny. Will return back when we are in town again.

When an apple pie and a pancake love each other very much, sometimes a stork will bring them a bundle of joy. Their Apple Pancake should be a desert. People sometimes have donuts for breakfast, and those are basically sugar, so remind yourself of that as you eat this apple pancake. If you can finish half of one, I'll be impressed, it's absolutely delicious. There's no better way to describe it than the love child of a pancake and an apple pie. Forbidden love is always the best.

Loved this place! The food was really good but honestly the service was what stood out most to me. Our waitress and the host at the front were very kind personable people. They were great at their job in all ways and that's not something you see a lot these days. That aside the food was great, I had a cowboy omelette and some potato pancakes with sour cream. I highly recommend this for the variety alone. And of course the BACON!

You will love this place. You'll see what I'm saying once you've eaten here. This place gets crowds waiting to dine in! Don't expect to be seated for an hour or more on the weekends, but it's worth the wait. Chesterfield location trumps the Ladue spot. Not that Ladue is at all bad. Experience for yourself is the only way to know for sure, you'll be glad you did.
