Fantastic! Service, taste, entire experience was top notch. Cheese dip was hot and great portion size. Tortilla chips were tasty, loved the salsa. Thursday lunch special was $1.25 crunch tacos which can’t be beat. Cheapest fajita quesadilla around! The strawberry margarita did not disappoint. Must stop if looking for authentic Mexican food. Street tacos were also fantastic.

La Chula has great food, great drinks and an Awesome staff! I’ve been to La Chula numerous times over the past two months and I’ve been impressed each and every time!

One time I arrived late, when things were clearly winding down. Saturday, after 9:15 Vanessa told us not to worry about the time and offered us excellent service (it wasn’t 10:00 closing time).

Another visit, La Chula was clearly very busy, and Mauricio waited on us… again with Excellent, fast service. Margaritas fast and quick… very good, on the rocks w/ salt.

Every visit my food has been fantastic, the cheese dip tasty, and food piping hot and delicious. The red salsa is a bit mild for my taste, but I highly recommend La Chula.
Friday night they even had a guy (DJ) playing music... surprisingly good, not overly loud where it could have drowned everything out... it didn't, nice background touch. A few songs, I wish had been louder...

This is one of the best restaurant I have been too in along time. The food was amazing and our waiter was great 👍 Go check them out you won't regret it. I give them 5 stars for sure.

Always eat here and get fajitas for two, for me and a guest, and a big margarita. Atmosphere is great, food is excellent, cheap and plentiful and the service is great.

Wonderful Mexican fare! Great atmosphere with mariachi & cultural music & art all around you. The service is speedy, food comes out quickly and the servers are friendly. The salsa served with the chips was delicious! I ordered a peach margarita and Las Chulas...shrimp enchiladas with verde sauce. Very flavorful and loaded with shrimp. It was served with shredded lettuce, tomatoes and guacamole. Our server had me taste the margarita when it came out to make sure it was to my taste. It was perfect for me...hubby said it was sweet for him, but he wasn't drinking it. :) I didn't think about happy hour, but it was a 16 oz. drink for $2.50!! What?? I got half-way through it when the alcohol hit and knew I didn't need another. Recommended!!

This place is awesome! Been back 3 times. Food is great and love the salad and chips. Waitress was great ,always checking on us. Always have happy hour on margaritas 🍹 lots of flavors. I think taco's are $1.50 after 3pm on Wednesday.

We love La Chula’s, a local favorite. The food is amazing. The margaritas are amazing.

Delicious margaritas with a good amount of tequila! We just did cheese dip and margaritas, so can't comment on the other food. They were pretty busy, but our service was quick.

This is a must for mexican food in the bay! Best margaritas in town and from 3-6 its half price! So naturally we get bean dip, salsa, chips, tamales, and an $8 thats right $8 pitcher of margaritas on the rocks ( or frozen if thats your thing) ! And trust me ladies and gentlemen, sharing one pitcher with a friend is enough to have a nice buzz when you leave. They are not the weak, cheap, "good deal" margs you usually get at some places. Anyways great food, great atmosphere,.great drinks!!

Love it! Always tasty and as authentic as you could ask for. Also affordable is an understatement! I took my mother there after helping her around her house in the bay, 2 rounds of margaritas and and entree for each of us (which both had leftovers) all under $40... Yes please. I'll be sad once my mother sells her house and I no longer have a reason to visit this little gem.

I’m am not a person that reviews much. Maybe twice in my life but this place deserves my attention. The shrimp chimichanga, 40A on the menu, was the best I’ve ever eaten. The shrimp wasn’t specifically told to me as gulf coast fresh but I didn’t have to ask. The sauce was married perfectly with the succulent tender plump shrimp. The tortilla wrap had a taste only can be described as hand made. The cheese blend complemented the dish as well. No flavors stole from the other till it was a perfection of mouth gratification that my stomach agreed with. The condiments worked well with the whole dish also but this meal can stand alone. I can’t say enough about how satisfied I was with the staff, the atmosphere and the price. Truly a hidden gem on the gulf coast.
