Erica was the best, most helpful and friendliest server while visiting for the first time! She answered all of our questions and helped us pick out things we would like to try. Being newer to this area of Mississippi, I’m so glad we came out to try this establishment. I strongly recommend the Oysters and the 3 Way Broil. You can mix and match your seasoning/flavors for the oysters which is great, and they have something for everyone no matter the particular palate. Definitely will be back!

Not only was the food excellent, but the service was too! Linda was patient and knew a lot about the menu.
I went on two different days and times. The food was consistent with the taste, temperature, and presentation. I wish we had one of these in GA.

We dined in with a party of 14 people on Father’s Day; we had reservations booked. The food was enjoyed by everyone and the service was fast and attentive. Fried seafood platter of 3 different sizes with a vast variety… including fried catfish, fried redfish, fried oyster, fried shrimp, fried hush puppies, crawfish pie, and stuffed crab. Other food options included pasta, grilled seafood, and other entrees.
Vegetarian options are sides, like fried eggplant sticks, salad, and mac and cheese.

GREAT EXPERIENCE! My wife and I met friends for dinner, and sat at the bar. The bartender was very friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu. The beer was COLD, and our food was delicious. It's not "cheap", but it's definitely worth every penny we spent, and somewhere we'll return to when we want a really good meal out. It was also a nice touch that the owner/manager was going around from table to table, asking how the food/service was.

The crew there were just about the best. The service was excellent. The food was prepared quickly and was just absolutely delicious. The only issue was the noise level. Some people don't mind the noise cacophony. If you don't, then you'll LOVE this restaurant. I don't like such a noisy atmosphere. Otherwise, this place is great. But, the food was SO good, I expect that I'll be going back there again.

Excellent food and service, every time. I've only been three times, but I've tried most of the dishes... We all try a bite of everyone's plate. Absolutely everything is phenomenal. I think my favorite is the blackened or broiled redfish. It came with a topping that was awesome. It also came with a side. I think it was about $13. You can't beat that price. We also ordered a piece of cake for my sister who would be arriving in less than two minutes. The waitress got us the cake with a candle and lighter all with time to spare. I wish I'd gotten her name.

We had Robin as our server for a 6 top. She was quick and extremely attentive. She knew the food specials and gave great recommendations. The Blackened Triple Tale was delicious, but the Dempsey Red Fish was phenomenal. Highly-rated!

The service was top notch! The food was great! Will definitely be back. I've already recommended to a few to stop in on their way through.

We come to Dempsey's every year we go to Boy Scout Camp to celebrate our troop leaders birthday. I had the shrimp po-boy, it was delicious. Our troop leader had the catfish po-boy and sweet potato fries, delicious, 3 of our kids had the burger on a bun, gone! And our last scout had the shrimp dinner, the troop leader didn't see him eat so fast all week. And we eat good at camp. Thank you so much for the great service and food. Highly recommend!

I tried something different instead of fried stuff. I had broiled Dempsey's fish with a side of spinach it was delicious. It's also a good thing to know they have a lunch menu on Saturday. Always our go-to place when in the area.

What can i say other than the food? It was great. The service was spot on. The atmosphere was great. I can not wait to go back.

The wife and I went for lunch on a Sunday. You need to call in a reservation ahead of time nowadays because the place is so good and very popular.

We're repeat customers and everything's always perfect. Fried Green Tomatoes appetizer is the best FGT you can find. We got the seafood platter for two this time. We seriously came home with enough leftovers to eat two more times. For less than a $100 bill, you really can't beat the value and quality.

Everything we've gotten there has been spot on and we've never had a complaint.

Even if you don't have time to stop at Dempsey's in Mississippi do it anyway and at the very least get the cheese sticks. They will change your life. Everything was delicious! I even got to meet the owner Diane Dempsey she was the absolute sweetest woman. Ask for Erica she gave us the very best service. There is something to be said for the soft shell crab, it was awesome!

Stop in on way to Bay St Louis, had the seafood plater for 2...Xcellent!!! Great service with very cute smiles, left very satisfied..!!! Can't go wrong here..just show up hungry...very big portions.

Wow! This place was amazing. It is hidden back in the Kiln and has a fish camp vibe. It is the perfect combo of laid back with great food. We tried the chargrilled oysters, blackened (amazing), sautéed crab fingers, and fried fish and shrimp, shrimp and grits, and crab Landon. It was all super well done and tasty. From traditional southern fried to more upscale seafood, it was all excellent. I highly recommend it!!!

Could be some of the best oysters I have had in the area. The Royal Reds were as big as a house and tasted like lobster. The beer was ice cold and the environment was amazing. Loved it.

Hubby, daughter and myself went for the first time Saturday evening. after moving her into her new home. We got the onion rings which were Amazing and the Super Seafood Platter. Everything was delicious. I love the fried shrimp, and daughter said it was the coldest beer she has ever had !! Our waitress Robin was a real sweetheart. Friendly, and quick service. We'll be back soon.

Arrive at 4:08, receive my gumbo , then had our platter by 4:28. Hot, fast, and done right. That's our 4th trip.

Great food!! Well prepared and very tasty with generous portions. Staff is very friendly and work together to make a seamless and happy customer experience. Wish they were closer to Florida!!
