I stopped by once and left with a Corey Hart and a Taco vinyl. Owner was super nice and chill. Even went as far as showing me a letter written to him by the late great GG Allin. This place is absolutely awesome!

Really glad this place is here- it's local and I don't have to go traipsing all over kingdom come to find records if I don't feel like driving far. Always saw this here, but went in today for the first time. I have insanely diverse taste in music, and I was pleasantly surprised at the selection. I also LOVED that no one was jumping up in my face with that dreaded "can I help you???". Yeah, I'm not one of those customers.. the owners were very considerate, left me alone to browse, and I spent more money than I'd intended. And I probably will again. Great place to go if you're a lover of vinyl like me and really enjoy the search. :)

Always a pleasure stopping here! Heavy focus on Southern Rock and outlaw country, but tons of classic rock, metal, and punk as well! Cool memorabilia, vinyl decals, auto tags, just tons of cool stuff to purchase here! Give them a try!

Awesome selection of vinyl, new and used. Record store day exclusives as well. Plenty of cool stuff here for all your vinyl needs. Records are categories by genre, then by artist. Easy to find your way around. Cds and tapes too. I've shopped here for years and love completing my lists of must haves.

What a treasure this place is. I found albums from my childhood and Aray Maddy originals can't get any better than that!

Happened to be driving by and saw this store. What a memorable treat! Great selection...name it and they probably have it. Great conversation about the subject matter! We spent almost 2 hours...and that was only because we had a long drive ahead of us. We will be back...worth the trip up from South Carolina.

Prices were reasonable. Owner was very friendly and knowledgeable about his inventory. My teenage son could have spent most of the day in this store looking at the records.

My go to place for records. They beat the wheels off of any record store nearby (including Boone). I always bring extra money when going because I know I’ll buy more records than I intended on. Would recommend heavily.

Marvelous selection of rock & roll vinyls. Old, 80s and new. Flipping through the record brought back great memories. Proprietor one of the nicest ladies I have ever met! Even my 10 year old talked with her as if she was an old friend. Will definitely return.

For years I've been driving by this tiny establishment, always curious about what could be inside. I frequently told myself that one day I would stop and go in and have a look but somehow it seemed there were always more pressing issues to attend to.
Today on my way home from a short day at work I was approaching J&B Vinyl & Records on highway 18 in Lenoir only a few miles from home when my luck ran out...or so it seemed at first. I had neglected to put gas in my car when the gas guage indicated that I should probably do it, I ignored the flashing light on the dash and the irritating chime that accompanied it as well, so about fifty feet or so before the entrance to the store my car consumed it's last whiff of fumes from the now bone dry fuel tank and with the momentum built up from the previous traffic light I turned in to the record store parking lot across two lanes of oncoming traffic and coasted to a stop at the front door.
I sat in my car for a few minutes while I attempted to contact my wife and kids to bring me a jug of gasoline, it was raining pretty hard so I didn't get out and walk inside for at least ten minutes or so after I had summoned the rescue party but I figured I had better at least go in and let someone know why I was there.
Inside the small shop were hundreds upon hundreds of classic rock, country, r&b, folk, "you name it" vinyl 33s and 45s and I expected that but they also had CD's, license tag frames, t-shirts, mirrors, stickers, I think I saw a corn hole game or two also and I'm certain there are many more interesting items I missed.
While I was waiting I browsed through the records and they brought back good memories of my youth and I did in fact purchase a few items before I left and the prices were more than reasonable and the lady at the counter was extremely helpful and provided me with some friendly conversation while I waited for my gasoline to arrive.
I'll be back soon to look around and I know I will find many more memory inspiring artifacts that I thought were surely consigned to oblivion.

J & B has a lot of records to dig through . Bring a lunch. They also have RECORD CRATES ! Support your local Record Store. This place is a hidden gem. Johnny is a master LP crate builder . Barbra can help you find what you need. They are friends of Repo Record in Charlotte.

Stopped by today to check out the shop. Without a doubt one of the friendliest record stores that I have visited. Good selection of new and used. Will definitely be back.

Great Local Vinyl & Record Shop. Went there to see if they would buy some of my records. They do buy records and were very nice people and discovered they do vinyl logos not just music vinyls! Awesome!

It's been a few years but owner is great and has a nice variety. They also make some nice crates to store your records

Johnny and Barbara are really great people. I love old records and their selection is the best. Plus, they are in great condition. J&B is the place to go for records. They also have DVD's and CD's at great prices. And. I just bought a Cornhole set from them. They will customise it to your liking. Go and see for yourself.
