Wright's Transmission Service

They did a great job on rebuilding my transmission they charged a hair more than some of the other places but it’s well worth the extra which wasn’t but like $200 if your wondering the car hasn’t shifted that well since we owed it. It was an 95’ Oldsmobile cutlass supreme and we used to knocking when it cranked and not anymore. Thanks guys again for the great job and I will be using them again.

I haven't finished having my transmission fixed, however, the mechanics are very nice. They are dealing with my insurance for me which is a big help. They ALWAYS speak to you when you call and update you when you call and are NEVER short with you or brush you off. I can't wait till my transmission is finished. Great experience so far! ❤

Took my vehicle to Wrights Transmission and got a great service! They are very professional, friendly and knowledgeable. The main mechanic Leroy, patiently explained to me in words I understood, why my car was not working. The price he gave me was lower than prices I got from other shops.

Was impressed with the place, it's extremely clean and big too! They are very reliable, he told me how long the work was going to take and my car was ready when I went to pick it up. Very happy I called Wright's, it saved me money, time and work was done right, very happy with the warranty too.

My dash light came on with no other indication of issues. They ran a diagnostic that determined it wasn't a transmission problem and suggested another shop that fixed the problem. They could have just said they couldn't find the issue and stopped there. They didn't.

Leroy is such a pleasure. He saved me a ton of money through his thorough diagnostics check and thoughtful advice. I had already gotten an estimate from the dealership ($2500). Leroy ran diagnostics and suggested I try a relatively simple fix first, his non-simple fix was $1600. The simple fix cost me $0 because it involved a defective battery that was under warranty at O'Reillys and able to be replaced. It worked! This is the 2nd time I have used Wrights in the last 4 years on different cars. Wrights has earned my business for life. He could have simply given me a $1600 estimate and just changed the battery himself but he didn't do that. Much respect for this man.

Excellent work! I've known the owners since 2008. Never had a problem and there work has outlasted my vehicles. If anyone needs a transmission specialist of the highest quality and affordable price.. don't look any further. 👍👍

Did a great job on my 2011 Ford Fiesta. The price was much lower than what Ford wanted to charge me and I love supporting local businesses anyway. Very nice people. Leroy even gave my husband advise on a truck he's working on at home. I highly recommend.

I always read through reviews before making a decision on where to take my business regarding costly services. When my transmission went out on my minivan, I looked to Google reviews for help in choosing where to take it. Aside from the high star rating, what stood out to me about their reviews is that a lot of the reviewers used Leroy's name, rather than a vague pronoun. To me, when paired with a positive review, this indicates that the service provider is personable, treats customers as individuals, and provides a customer service experience that is memorable.

This is exactly the service that I got at Wright's. Leroy was personable, professional, and even took the time to explain and show me what repairs were done to my van and why they were done. I highly recommend Wright's!

Let me tell you about the Wright's Transmission team. I was in Florida and needed a vehicle. I heard of them thru a friend who said they were coming down for vacation. My dad called Leroy and asked him if he could get me a car. He got me a 2004 Honda Civic, he rebuilt the transmission, replaced the motor, put new tires and brakes, took it to the inspection place and Isaac drove the car down to Florida to my house. I was amazed! They said, they were driving down anyways, so they did not mind doing this favor for me. Car runs great, no problems at all. Honest people.

I had an unusual situation with my Tahoe's transmission, so I called around to several transmission repair shops in the area. Some were familiar to me as I used to be in the automotive shop equipment business, so I called them first. None of them seem very interested in my business, but then I called Wright's, and they sounded like they really wanted to help me. They had me bring in my Tahoe right away to diagnose the problem. They were able to repair the problem, and did an excellent job at a very reasonable price.

Very seldom do I write “Reviews”, but, this is an exception. I have never in my whole entire life at the age of 65 have I written a “Review “like the one I am fixing to write.

I own a 2014 Spark Chevrolet. I went to Ashboro, NC and on the way back to Thomasville; I heard the worst noise that came from my car. It felt like the whole underside had fallen out.

Luckily, there was a garage close by where I could coast in. I had no brakes. I had a down hill swing where I could park it out of the way of traffic.

Leroy Wright is reasonable on his Prices. He will walk you through on an “on hand” guided tour of the problems of your Vehicle and make Pricing Quotes of what needs to be replaced. I am telling you he is Honest and Trustworthy. You talk about” old fashion values” this Guy is at the Top of my list. I am so glad that I have found a good Mechanic that believes being straight up front and is not hiding extra cost and fees from you.

Let me just tell you guys these people are beyond the greatest they have most definitely exceeded my expectations very friendly staff I know some of the reviews was negative for this place but as most will prob agree you can’t make everyone happy in the customer world as I’m in sales and understand let me just ad that I also asked Leroy to do me a favor and send me pics of the rebuild for my scrap book I’m putting together bc I’m restoring a 85 el Camino that used to be my grandfathers and he had no issues at all with sending me pics. The best service that I have recieved in town. Im very pleased with these guys, they know what they are doing and they treat you right. Ive had all my cars worked on at wrights. I had my honda odyssey, chevy impala, dodge durango, dodge 1500 4x4, and also have had my brothers ford escort worked on. I highly recommend this shop to everybody. My experience with the Wrights Transmission team has been ABOVE and BEYOND great, I came into the shop thinking it was one problem previously diagnosed with my car, yet they worked until they found the REAL issue, I definitely recommend.
