Rough Stock Western Wear

If you want a nice, personally shaped hat, this is the place to get it. The folks here are helpful and kind. Unique stock of pearl snaps & jackets. They got some pretty decent prices for some pieces too. Just wish their space was bigger for more good stuff!

I got an American straw hat wasn't sure about my head size. The staff was very nice and helpful they showed me some hats shaping examples before I got it shaped and chose the George Strait style. Jose was very nice and was very patient with me to make sure the fit and shape was right he did an amazing job shaping my new hat.

Went to this store with plans to buy an American Hat Company straw hat as a birthday gift. They were very low on common sizes so I ended up getting a Rodeo King straw. Mr. Jose shaped it and did an incredible job!! I was being very picky with the shape and he was patient with me and did a great job seeing was I was envisioning for my hat. Also got a sick leather band to dress it with. I will definitely be coming back for a felt, when they’re supply is a little better.

Hands down the best Western store I've stepped foot in. I stopped in Rough Stock to pick up a few t-shirts and ended up coming back to get a straw shaped after grabbing lunch. The selection of t-shirts, pearl snaps, jeans, boots, and hats is huge and they answer any questions y'all got. Although their selection is great, the following guys really made my experience memorable:
Tim (Purdy) - Helped show me around the shirts and pick out some Dale Brisby stuff I'd been hunting for. I had some questions about boot care and he answered everything I had for him. After I came back from lunch he helped me get the right size hat I needed and found the exact color and model I was looking for. Appreciate it Purdy!
Jose - Man this dude can shape a hat. I had a specific crown and brim shape in mind and it was no problem for him. He even put the patches on the back of mine for me! I will be coming back this fall to get a felt shaped by him.
Clay & Freddy - I was talking to them about the hats they had on and any care tips they had for my new straw. Both of them were very helpful and you could tell they take pride in helping their customers.

Y'all need to stop in here. You won't be disappointed!

Amazing store with great products, friendly service, and inventory galore.

Went in to look at hats and found the perfect one! It was then shaped perfectly at the hat bar. The staff was super super friendly and knowledgeable making it an overall great experience!

Super nice selection of today's modern wear. Bell bottom flag design jeans are super cute! Short and long sleeved western wear shirts? Yes! Bilingual staff...fun atmosphere with personal attention! They have rodeo tickets. Very nice...rare to find a nicer Staff!! Big store, so worth the stop! Easy to find near the fairgrounds!

I had the best time today shopping at this store! They helped me figure out my hat size and helped create my own custom cowboy hat! I love it!!! The guy that was doing the hat shaping was amazing and shaped my hat perfectly like a fine piece of art. Got to select a nice band for it too. Cant wait to return to this shop! I would give them 10 stars if I could!

Wonderful experience and they gained a customer for life today. I have sensory issues and cannot always tell when shoes fit. The salesperson (michael? I'm terrible with names and even asked so I'd make sure.) Took the time to explain the break-in process, how shoes should feel. And even check various things to make sure I have the right size. I definitely will go back for all my needs.

My wife and I drove a good while to go to this store to get a couple felt hats cleaned and re-shaped. We could not be more satisfied with the level of care for our hats. The young man that shaped our hats had a lot knowledge in the art and was very personable. The store had a huge selection of hats and apparel. We will definitely make the trip back to this store!

We drove 3 hours to visit Rough Stock for a felt hat this evening. ..The customer service was excellent! Very friendly and helpful staff. Husband is driving home happy with his felt hat and our daughter is coming home on cloud 9 with getting her a new cowboy hat the day before her rodeo!! We will definitely be back!

I bought an American Hat brand straw a few months ago from Rough Stock, and I was very impressed with their customer service and their hatters. And they carry the best brands, and all the sizes, including size 8+. I'll be doing the rest of my Western wear business with Rough Stock from here, on.

I have my first experience at the store earlier this week. It started with a phone call on Wednesday asking for directions. The young woman answered was so explicit in her directions she was better than GPS! I arrived at the store the next day after having been through hours at Macy’s, Belk and Kohl’s and have the worst experiences imaginable. The big stores were poorly stocked, The inventory was a mess and not organized and I could not find someone to help me in the entire store and the guy that I did simply pointed of where I should go! At Roughstock I had the exact opposite experience! The minute I walked in the door I was greeted by a young man who welcome me to the store and ask you what I was looking for and did I need help. When I asked him for help, he walked me over to the section I needed, give me a quick synopsis of the inventory, show me where the changing room was and told me if I needed any help at all, to give him a holler! That is 5-star service. As I was ready to check out there was nobody at the register and the owner himself spotted me it was there in two seconds and didn’t just grab my stuff to ring it up, he called and associate over in the entire time she was ringing me out he and I engage in conversation and I could not complement him enough and what a great staff and what a great store he had. I would highly recommend this place to anybody looking for Weston wear
