Carolina Colorectal Surgery

I am so grateful that my PCP referred me to Dr. Adusumilli when I had a serious health problem. He quickly diagnosed the problem and got me admitted to the hospital for initial treatment. During the following year he oversaw the medication that got me to remission. And he is continuing with care to try to prevent a recurrence. He and his PA were always available when I had problems. In all my appointments, he has always taken the time to answer any questions and give me advice and encouragement. I think he's an excellent doctor and I give him the highest recommendation!

I highly recommend Dr. A as your doctor. He's amazing and went above and beyond for my husband. I couldn't have asked for a better surgeon to take care of him and do the surgery that was needed to be performed. IF there are any issues with front desk or staff, I highly suggest you talk to Dr. A about it and he will take care of it and take care of you however he can. He's amazing and I'm thankful that he was able to be here for us.

I am FOREVER grateful to Dr. Adusumilli and his entire staff. I was dealing with issues since November and had a total of 6 office visits with various facilities, including Rex ER. I was very fortunate to find Dr. Adusumilli whom, after one visit, realized the severity of my situation and operated on me the very next day. My family and I are ABSOLUTELY pleased with the doctor and staff of Carolina ColorectalSurgery. The receptionist Tonya is very delightful, friendly and knowledgeable. Nurse Tori, Lexi the Physicians Assistant and Dr. Adusumilli are the perfect team, following the completion of my fathers procedure they communicated with us and answered every question we had about the recovery process. They also kept my father overnight as a precaution and I couldn’t thank them enough on how well the process went and most importantly the professionalism and kindness they’ve shown. Dr.A as he is known is a great surgeon. He has a great start dedicated to help people in need. I needed them do bad after UNC Chapel Hill surgeon messed up a fairly simple procedure and said he has no clue. Tanya sensed my urgency to get help and was wonderful in scheduling an early appointment. Dr. Adusumulli gave he his diagnosis in less than 30 seconds into our appointment, made sure I get into hospital immediately for the help I needed. He is a great human being as well, very patient, answers your questions with no rush. If anyone has been to their office you will realize how insanely busy they are, and to squeeze me in when I was in pain was incredible. The follow up has been wonderful, they do not dismiss you when you panic. They try to fit you in and address your concerns. Dr. Adusumulli and team, Thanks a lot for everything. From feeling like left handicapped to making sure my life is back to normal, you have played a pivotal role.

Dr. Adusumilli is the best!
I am 25 years old, this was my first surgery. I was really scared. Dr. Adusumilli did an amazing job, he knew exactly what he was doing. I went to numerous (over 10 doctors) none of them really knew the issue or seemed confident. As soon as I met Dr.Adusumilli I knew that he would be the one to do my surgery. He knew exactly the problem and knew how to fix it. Surgery went very well. So thankful!

Dr. Adusumilli is the best. He truly saved my life. His demeanor is was so
comforting. He was kind and gentle and never rushed on his visits. Every contact I have had with other Medical providers sing his praises.

Dr Sankar Adusumilli is one of the best doctors I have ever seen.
Even though he is an expert, he is very down to earth, approachable and was able to answer our questions in layman terms.

I was impressed with his personal follow up callback, when we paged the doctor for some pain late at night, experienced after the surgery.

Based on our experience, I will recommend Dr Sankar Adusumilli as an excellent and caring Colorectal surgeon/doctor.

Dr. A, got my husband in for consultation right away within the same week we called inquiring and scheduled my husband surgery a few days afterwards.

Dr A is the BEST! He saved my life when my GI referred me to him with an intestinal blockage in 2016. He is the most empathetic, kind, caring, compassionate, & down to earth Dr I've EVER seen, & for a surgeon no less!!! I, on the other hand, have most likely been one of his more problematic patients & he's never let me down. I would be dead if not for him. Thank you Dr Adusumilli! 💖

I don't know why Dr. A would only have 4.6 stars. It just shows people after they feel better don't take the time to do reviews. Because after having been in the hands of some bad doctors then coming to Dr. Adusumili he is best there is in soo many ways.Highly skilled with great bedside manner to boot. What more could you want? A clone of him for doctors ,yes!

Dr. Adusumulli did a great job for my 16-year-old son. He diagnosed my son with Pilonidal sinus disease and he performed the “pit picking“ procedure in the same appointment where he successfully removed a huge ball of hair and debris from the sinus. After 3 months of packing his open wound at home, my son has since fully recovered and has not had any other issues. A recent ultrasound in that area confirmed that there are no remaining tracks or any cysts. We are so grateful for this doctor, his bedside manner, and his expertise. Highly recommended. **My only suggestion would be for them to offer 1” ribbon gauze for packing instead of the square gauze pads**

This review is long over due. Dr.Adusumilli is highly knowledgeable, down to earth person. The clinic and he takes care of patients with at most care. All the procedures on my neck that I underwent were done by him and there is always the smile, patience that keeps my family going.

It was a good experience for getting treatment for hemorrhoid under the Dr.Sankar Adusumulli. He was very caring and engaged me with the level I would feel comfortable. I opened up before him, with my problems which is not typical of me and he made me feel confident. After a few weeks, I became normal and now I am sure that he is one of the best proctologists in Raleigh.
