J Peters Grill & Bar

We have always loved J Peters. It has been almost 10 years since we moved from Anderson to Phoenix. It was so nice to see this place still serving quality food, generous portions and all with excellent and friendly service. We had the Prime Rib and Sirloin and Shrimp with a house salad. Both were phenomenal. The atmosphere is great in ole downtown Anderson. Hopefully it won't be so long before we can come back.

We eat here frequently. The food is always good. Today we had lunch and Mike was our server. He was a nice guy and very attentive to our needs. Our go to food here is the chicken strip plate. There’s enough food on the plate to split it between both of our girls (and add on a 2nd salad and have strips to top my salad). It’s not the cheapest but for the atmosphere, food quality and service, the price reflects. Good food, family atmosphere, kind/attentive service. We come here 2-3 times a week. Brittany the bartender is very efficient and provides awesome service. I was disappointed the owner took sweet potato fries off the menu! I guess they didn’t sell well? Too expensive? But they were better than the regular fries!

Fantastic vibe here, didn’t leave there hungry either. Brittany at the bar was really cool, steered me in the right direction, the slow cooked Prime Rib was phenomenal. Will certainly hit this spot again next time here.

It’s always good for a father to have lunch with his son. The food was delicious. Our server was awesome… I got to spend some quality time with my son, trying to impart knowledge and wisdom..Listening, catching up with him and what’s going on in his world..He is a Business major at Anderson University. Thank You J Peters for delicious food and a perfect environment for a father-son lunch on a Veterans Day weekend.

Excellent place for a great meal. The she crab soup was delicious! Croissants are definitely worth getting. Will definitely go back next time I'm in the area.

Went for a work Christmas dinner. Food was fantastic and service was great. Reasonably priced too! Portions are big as well. Will definitely be back!

A group of 8 had dinner at JPETERS tonight to celebrate the 90th birthday of a family member. We arrived early because Friday nights are busy. We were seated promptly and our server, Lewis was great! She was very efficient and pleasant. Water & drinks were refilled without asking, food came out just as ordered, everything was great! And she offered the 90 year old free dessert! Thanks to Lewis for a wonderful experience at JPETERS.

Delicious! Was there last week & back tonight. Definitely our new place. Appreciate the Collards served in a cup so it's not too awkward when I drink the pot-liquor =]

Food was excellent. Our server to busy talking with the men to care if we needed anything. Ask for an extra spoon an never got it. But I will be back because the food was excellent

Dined as single at a table, and service before and after I got food was horrible. Waited a long time before greeted and order taken, then had to get someone to bring condiments for food and ask for refill on beverage.

Great food and service. Only slightly higher priced than your average restaurant but, the quality is quite alot higher.

The J Peters salad is fantastic. The Prime Rib or any dish is wonderful. Their early bird specials can't be beat.

Today was my first time at J Peters Grill. I've only been in SC for a couple of years now, but this was an absolute incredible expense. My bartender made me the absolute best margarita that I have ever had in my life, then the salad was the very best I've ever had with tons of bacon in every bite! The prime rib was absolutely incredible. My new favorite place with my new favorite bartender!!! And trust me, I can be very hard to please, but not here. Thank you J Peter's for such a great and professional experience for a change.
