I've been working with Lori for several years now and she is AWESOME. I have had 2 back surgeries and have some disc issues in my neck as well. Since seeing her I haven't missed my life or work. I can't even remember the last time I've been laid out on the floor and can't move. Don't turn away from her because she doesn't take your insurance either. You are with HER for a full hr not 5 min and then passed around a room. I do wish I could afford to go more than once a month but you just have to do the work. I wouldn't see anyone else now after finding her!!!

I have been working with Lori for over 5 years now, since the 2016 Olympic Year, and she has been such a huge part of why I have been able to be successful on the world stage as a track athlete. Through multiple different injuries over the years including a foot surgery in 2020, Lori has so much attention to detail, experience, and creativity when she is treating me or developing a rehab plan.
Lori is unique in that she truly assesses the whole body during sessions in order to treat the pain-point better... because after all the body is complicated and oftentimes where we have pain isn't the true source of that pain. I trust her fully and her friendly personality makes it a pleasure to work with her. I have recommended countless other track athletes and non-athlete friends to Lori whenever they have issues and they all have glowing reviews after seeing her. I cannot recommend Lori more!!

I have been working with Lori for well over a decade. As a lifelong athlete with quite a bit of mileage (athletically and age-wise), there has been the inevitable series of injuries over the years. She is by far the best therapist I have ever worked with. Her diagnostic and evaluation skills are superb. She has helped me get through a variety of sports related injuries where I wasn't sure I'd be back "in the game." While she doesn't deal with her patient's health insurance, her charges are reasonable and well worth it. And she truly cares about her patients. I have referred a number of friends and fellow athletes to her, and they have had similarly beneficial outcomes.

Lori helped me get to a pain free state. She is very thorough in her assessments and got to the root cause of some stuff I had been dealing with for years. She found weaknesses I didn't even realize I had and through her very customized exercises was able to address ankle, hip, back and neck pain.

If you're looking for someone who has an extraordinary depth of knowledge and wisdom, as is authentically committed to your needs and goals, you must see Lori von Alten. I've been navigating a neck issue that has shown up as numbness and my toes and ringing in my ears and I've been to many doctors. Lori has given me hope and a clear plan, which no others did!

Lori is PT #5 for a very persistent hip and shoulder problem. She listened well and responded like she heard me. Lori puts more of herself and her expertise to work than any of the other 4 working on this problem. I have finally begun to heal! She expects a lot from her patients, but if you want to make progress, you have to invest the time and effort to get there. She clearly explains the exercises and checks to make sure that you do them correctly. Her feedback has been clear and effective!

Lori has been my daughter's PT for several years and is the only one I will take her to! She is always right on target on fixing whatever problem that she has, doesn't overload her with exercises and understands her body like no other PT we have seen! She is by far THE BEST!

Lori, the PT, is obviously very knowledgeable, but was of no help to me. Also very unresponsive; on three separate occasions I requested a written description of what she would describe as my issues to that I would know what to ask my massage therapist to work on and I received nothing. On the third attempt I basically offered to pay her for it by cutting our appointment short for her to scribble something out, to which she said it was no problem and not to worry about that, and I still received nothing.

I asked for a recommendation on orthotics and what I would actually need to request there, and no answer.

No followup after appointments, no responsiveness, and no progress.
