We parked here to ride on the Doodle Trail. Great location with plenty of restaurants nearby within walking distance. Trail was great, but I took a cruiser bike. Definitely good trail, but it's not meant for cruisers. Being diabetic and not in athletic shape, my sugar dropped, and I let my boyfriend ride ahead while I stopped to snack on the way back to go get our truck. Even my bike was happy. 🤣 There are plenty of places to stop that were easily accessible by car for him to come back and safely stop to pick me up. Next time, I'll bring my better bike and ride the whole way. There are lots of interesting points to view, and I would have loved to complete the whole trail.

A great place to walk or run, or even ride bicycles. Great way to get back into shape or just to get out of the house without spending money.

Beautiful trail for walking, running, cycling. Also, nice playground area, with stuff for kids all ages also adult exercise machines. A colorful painted wall. Picnic area. Restrooms available and clean. A good help for cyclists - bicycle repair kit on site.

Love this playground/park! Just took my kiddos this morning and we were all very pleased. Unique play structures for all sizes and abilities, vibrant mural, lots of seating including a good sized covered space, clean restroom, cool railroad cars, plenty of parking—all in all a truly great addition to Pickens and the trail setup.

It's a smooth paved trail that goes from downtown Easley to downtown Pickens over the old train track path. The full trail is 8.5 miles one way and is a beautiful place for road biking without worrying about automobiles. The trail crosses the road at multiple points and closes at dark.

P.S. I wouldn't suggest riding a mountain bike or anything with knobby tires.

Park is fun, has two play structures (one for big & one for the littles, but no swings. Has exercise equipment for adults. Covered area too. Kids had a blast. Parking lot is just big enough but also has parking on side streets.

Beautiful! Scenic trail and playground that is nestled in the downtown area of Pickens. Quaint feel with active cycling scene. Loved the old train station.

I road my bike on the Doodle Trail, which runs from Pickens to Easley, South Carolina. The trail was smoothly paved, and wide enough for two way traffic with ease. There is a great park on both ends, giving the kids somewhere to play. The trail was about 17 1/2 miles end to end. It was a little hilly, but manageable. Highly recommended!!

This trail was fabulous! Even on a Tuesday morning many people were out and about. I rode my bicycle from Pickens to Easley downtown. It is a nice ride through the countryside with old train cars, chickens, and goats! I live off the Swamp Rabbit Trail and I think I like this trail more. It's a nice workout as it is slightly hilly. I am definitely doing this trail again. A hidden gem.

I had to use gps to find this. But it was a nice little parking area in pickens to give you access to the doodle trail itsself. There was a map and then you caould walk. Really close to Arby's. Can't wait to try it again! It's also labeled with how far you are out.

Quiet, peaceful, friendly passersby. This trail is for young and old. Humans and animals grace the path. The vegetation and beautiful flowers and scents and plenty of shade make this trail awesome. The tenth of a mile markings are great.

Needs lighting for the evening wintertime months around the playground. Other than that, it's a cute place for all ages.

Nice trail! Very peaceful. Would be much better if there were benches to rest every few miles. Other than that I enjoy it & feel pretty safe walking it!

Great place to exercise, bike ride or just to get out of the house and off the screens for a while. I just had open heart surgery and have been using it for my rehabilitation. Also see deer and other wildlife on occasion.

We love this playground! Good for both older and younger kids, and the train is exciting for the kids to look at. The trail is great too, nice flat paved path for walking, biking, scooters, etc

Great paved biking trail for kids and adults. There is a bathroom at two spots on the trail. The one at Doodle Easley Park is in a caboose and is nice and cute. There isn't much scenery to see on the trail. It goes past low income housing and old businesses. If you are trying to decide between doing the Doodle Trail in Pickens and the Swamp Rabbit Trail in Greenville, I would do the Swamp Rabbit Trail because there are a lot of interesting and picturesque things to see.
