This place is great if you love homestyle meals. My favorite is the cabbage. It's so good! They told me they cook it in chicken broth. The mac n cheese is good and also the fried chicken. Even the corn muffin is better than anywhere else!
I definitely recommend this place if you've never been!

That was OJ's Diner. Just Good Food for me. This meal was so delicious that it actually sang to my soul. The Motown music playing was an added plus.

I got turkey and dressing with mac & cheese, some black-eyed peas, and turnip greens. So well-seasoned! I know you’re probably going to ask “where’s the gravy?” I didn’t need any. The turkey was moist and the dressing was super flavorful on its own. And, the cornbread was definitely not an afterthought. I’ve been to other places where the cornbread is usually super dry and inedible. Not the case here…moist and full of butter. 🤤

OJ’s Diner is one of the best meat & three places around. You will definitely leave happy!

This is an absolutely lovely little diner with so much charm - all the staff were so friendly and the food was amazing. Will be back.

The food was amazing. The problem is I got in and started ordering stuff and then there's another station where you can order more stuff than another station where you can order more stuff. I ordered more than my stomach could handle and I ordered things my eyes just saw and wanted. The fried flounder was very good but not enough fish. The better was very tasty. The dessert station looked marvelous but I was strong enough to resist. The price was fabulous.

I just wanted to brag on Mary.. She is the absolute best waitress I've ever had the pleasure of experiencing. As soon as she sees me, she has my table ready with the sweet in a Togo cup. She has remembered everything I've asked for since Day one. Most of the time she's the reason I come in there. Shes always smiling, so kind and a joy to be around. The food is always great and the environment is very friendly. I hope she gets the recognition she deserves.

Me and my husband love going here through the week. We feel like we get a home cooked meal. Plenty of food! Very good service. Peach cobbler is outta this world good!!

The most home-cooked tasting food around. Love this place. Two words, fat back. Delicious.

This place was so home-town yummy! There are so many options for a delicious meal. I had beef stew over rice, fried okra and cornbread. It was so good I forgot to take a picture. Everyone was beyond kind. Just go.

Cafeteria style this is a southern, meat and two or three, restaurant. The pot pie was delicious, not a lot of dough but packed with meat and veggies. Mashed potatoes are super creamy, Mac and cheese has more than 1 type of cheese, fried chicken was nice big pieces and delicious. Very filling. Basic drink included with meal. Server was fun and friendly. Lots of seating in the afternoon but probably packed at lunch. Eat in or take out.

Amazing home feel. Super sweet ladies that work there. Will definitely be returning and recommending to others!

This review is long overdue! Possibly the best SC Soulfood anywhere in the upstate. The folks who own and work there treat everyone like family. Especially Miss Sharon and Miss Gloria. It's always a treat to be able to visit and enjoy OJ's!

In town for work, OJ's was recommended to me. It did not disappoint. Breaded pork chop, speckled butter beans, fried okra, mac-n-cheese, sweet potato pie. A week's worth of Weight Watcher points in one sitting, and absolutely no regrets.
