I brought my friend into the ER who was having a possible stroke. They quickly took her back and allowed me to come as well. They wasted no time getting her help and running tests. She was admitted and when I asked where the cafeteria was, the admitting doctor himself walked me down to show me where it was and chit chatted with me all the way there. He had the best bedside manners with my friend I’ve ever seen and seemed very knowledgeable about her situation. Once she was assigned a room, since she had to go have another test, a polite security guard helped me find her room and we had a pleasant conversation all the way there as well. The nurses were so nice and her night nurse went out of her way to be sure I had a better chair to sleep in. They also helped my friend moving forward with resources she would need for her future care. In a scary moment it was comforting to have such excellent care and service.

I went to the ER because I had been fighting for days to get my sugar up and keep it up. They admitted me into CCU. The nurses were absolutely wonderful, especially Meredith. And the dr came in and asked a few questions, which led to more tests. He was very thorough. All in all I have no complaints. I mean even the food was good. When you have to eat heart healthy and diabetic friendly meals, that is rare. I was really pampered.

I want to say thank you to the entire staff of Prisma Health Baptist Easley Hospital. I arrived at your hospital through the emergency room and was taking care of all by the most amazing group of people though out my journey, every one from check in to the surgical ward. The entire staff should be applauded for their kindness, and their ability to make someone who is scared, feel like family. They were able to calm me down and make me feel so cared for. I have never met more sweet people in one place than those who took care of me. I feel truly blessed to have had my life in your hands.

Definitely not a newer hosptial so I’d give the building 3/5. Staff is awesome though. Had surgery there and every staff member was so friendly and helpful! My memory is a little hazy on names (bc the anesthesiologist and CRNA did a great job) but I do remember Carol Hope and Derrick. Dr. Webb did a great job too! I genuinely hope someone in management sees this because the staff represents you and deserves the true kudos!

Edit: for management that’s reading these reviews the staff that cared for me are Paula, Angie, Rhonda, Teri N., Carol H., John, and Derek. Please let them know what a great job they did!

I have been receiving Electro-Convulsive Therapy (shock therapy) for a little over a month. The staff here has been so extremely kind, professional, and welcoming. My experience has been nothing short of great.

I had several of my friends visit us a couple of weeks ago and one woke up at 2AM with pain. We went to Baptist Easley ER and were seen quickly, pain relieved and condition treated appropriately. Great caring staff.

Experience was great from the ER to the ICU, not sure why such bad reviews (I suspect sick individuals aren't inherently happy to begin with, which is understandable)! All staff were great - all the way from housekeeping (who don't get enough credit!), to the ER check-in person (very nice), to nurse practitioners and doctors, to nursing staff and students, to dialysis staff, and to the palliative care coordinator. All staff explained things very thoroughly, were caring and compassionate through such a difficult time as my dad was a very sick patient. They acted quickly with interventions and medicines. They treated me, my dad, and family (and other visitors) with such care and respect. The palliative care coordinator spent detailed time and care with my family. One nurse in particular in ICU even spent quality time with my dad after his shift by sitting with and talking to him. I will never forgot how wonderful everyone has been throughout!

2nd medical emergency visit was another A+ experience. I was sent by Urgent Care, after triage upon arrival, they whisked me back right away and assessment, labs, Xray, treatment, and follow up plan were blazing fast, professional, and very thorough. I would say they outdid my best visit experience, which was an Emory ED down in Atlanta. It seemed like they were very well staffed up, even for a Sunday, compared to previous visits. The hospital ED is older, but clean and very well managed. Hope one day they can get their Trauma capabilities upgraded a level 1 to better serve the growing community.

The only other wish is more patient centric things with parking for the hospital itself. It lacks the retirees on golf carts ferrying patients to the entrances, a valet, and/or benches along the way from the outlying lots. It’s hell if you to go there when the one small lot near the entrances for Urgent Care or Outpatient Care is full up, and you’re sick, doing cancer treatments, or are disabled and can’t walk far, and have to schlep it from the hinterlands. Not everyone has a caregiver to drive them in all the time, sometimes the caregivers are disabled too.

Baptist Easley’s ER still gets an A in my book. I don’t know why so many local folks warned us to go to Greenville instead with emergencies, I found them to be very competent. Maybe after all the bad reviews they’ve worked hard to fix issues. I’ve been inside more big city Hospital ER’s in DC, Metro Atlanta, and Greenville than I can count with emergencies with the late husband’s strokes, cancer complications, heart issues, and Guillian Barre, so I know what a bad ER and bad Hospital is like. Instead of making me wait outside in the cold for up to 8 + hours with the rest of the spouses until my husband is finally taken back from the waiting room to an ER room to get looked at (for serious stuff like chest pains!), he was triaged, labbed, and in a room in under an hour, and holy cow, the doc actually showed up within a minute of him being put on a bed, it was an all time best. What would have been a traggling all nighter at Greenville was over and diagnosed within an easy couple of hours. Everyone working Easley’s ER had great bedside manners from the first triage nurse to the discharge. Everyone asked all the right questions, showed a sense of urgency and care, and demonstrated experience, knowledge, and proficiency at their job. They had good security there. It was safe, quiet, and clean. Two thumbs up!

I’m currently admitted here. Pneumonia. Everyone has been pleasant & courteous. There were many apologies regarding the wait, while in the ER, before a room became available. Seems that the hospitals are in the same situation, as most employers, who are also searching for people who want to work. Someone checks on the cleanliness & dietary needs daily. Housekeeping is by 2 x a day. Nurses respond quickly. Food isn’t bad. The social worker is planning on discharging me under Acute home care. I’m unsure of how that’s going to work. I will let you know!

The staff from reception to ER to the icu and then in regular care are so nice. Everyone is extremely friendly and helpful. Rn Jim was super and even though staying in the hospital is no fun the medical staff here really make a difference.

I am not sure of others experiences but this hospital to me is beyond. I have been to this ER three times. They have been EXTREMELY thorough! The first two times I came in the middle of the night and went straight to a room. Today I had to wait, as they had more people, but even while I waited for a room they ran multiple tests, listened to me, and got labs back almost immediately. A little wait in room, but Everyone is extremely friendly and caring! Recommend the ER here to anyone! Unfortunately referral they gave me wasn’t accurate, but they fixed it as soon as notified.
Heads over hills Better than Greenville Memorial, who had me waiting over 14 hrs, never seen, and still charged 🙄. I’ll drive over to here over any other ER!

Yes the wait was five hours but everyone was nice and I got the treatment I needed. People need to realize when you go to the ER people who come in by ambulances do get treated first as it should be. They did a great job and I’m thankful for them!

I've been to my share of ER's due to military service connected problems. I thought Baptist Easley was easily top 1%. Check in was fast and efficient. Very clean everywhere. A shout out to Doc L, who was gracious enough to check on me the next day. My nurse Kayla was phenomenal, very caring, Rosie the Tech was great and Nicole the CT scanner very nice and courteous. The entire staff was very professional, caring and friendly. Thanks so much.

ps - Not sure why the lousy reviews, I had a great experience for an ER visit.

My husband had to have surgery and the nurses, doctor, and Anastasia guy was wonderful. Love they send you text letting you know what's going on and how my husband was doing during surgery. The only complaint I have is the same as everyone that was in the waiting room. They have the hardest chairs. Not comfortable at all . I was sitting in there for 4 hours and my back was killing me. Please get better chairs or couch etc... (Out Patient waiting area).

Good Dr's and nurses. Typically spend 2 to 6 hrs here depending on your reason for visiting the ER. If here for out patient scans like mammograms, ultrasounds or blood work the wait time and the actual visit does not typically last more than 1 hr.

On July 13,2022 my mom had a biking injury on the doodle trail and was rushed to Prisma Easley or Easley Baptist as we call it. I must admit I wanted her transferred to the Greenville campus as soon as I knew the severity of her injuries but my mind quickly changed after witnessing the care she received here. The ER doctor (Tara?)who took the time to show me X-rays and eased my moms fears. Dr Ratner who not only had a great reputation when researching his credentials but his great bedside manner has continued since then. The OR staff during her overnight stay was so accommodating and friendly. Being a nurse myself it’s was so comforting to witness. Thank you!!

5 stars for the nurses on duty 4-10pm July 28, 2022 in the triage/ER. They handled a full waiting room, full beds and patients in the hallway. They were amazing. Great attitudes, going above and behind with kindness and compassion. Amazing people.
