We came for breakfast and....well, as you can see from the photo, it did not disappoint. So much food. Gravy was made in-house, side pancake as big as the plate. Two eggs, bacon and homefries were wonderful and the ham egg and cheese sandwich had the biggest cut of meat I have seen on a sandwich not made at home.

Just as the last time we were here the service was super friendly and fast. If I could give it more than 5 stars I totally would.

I came for lunch, and was seated right away at 11:55am. Our server was prompt in taking and bringing our drink orders. I ordered a vegetable soup and chicken salad sandwich on white toast. My husband ordered one of the daily specials of country style steak, green beans, macaroni & cheese, and it came with a choice of a roll or cornbread. He chose the corn bread.

The food came out very quick as the restaurant began to fill with customers. My soup was hearty, full of veggies, and yummy. The chicken salad sandwich had a different flavor to it from what I consider to be a traditional chicken salad, but it, too, was very tasty. I tried some of the macaroni & cheese and loved it. It was creamy, cheesy, and tasted like a true homemade Mac & Cheese.

Hubs enjoyed his meal as well as we both were members of the clean plate club.

The service was impeccable. Every employee was kind and smiling, and the restaurant appeared clean and well kept.

I would definitely return to try their breakfast and to enjoy more of their macaroni & cheese.

My go to place for breakfast in Lancaster. Always friendly service and they like to keep my coffee full! I have tried a lot of different breakfast meals, including the two egg breakfast and the pancakes, but by far my favorite thing to eat is the biscuit and gravy. Not sure what it is, but the gravys is the best around, definitely better than Hardee's and Bojangles.

Awesome Sunday lunch! The restaurant is clean, the service is very good and it tastes like home cooking. Prices are very low for the portions. The only problem is it is very small. Tables fill up very quickly around lunchtime. If you are patient with a potential wait, I highly recommend it. Or do like we do and go early!

Stumbled upon this place after a trip to Home Depot and now we’re so full we don’t want to go home and work on our house project :) ! Food was AMAZING - pot roast just melts in your mouth. Sides were fantastic - we tried 6 different ones and LOVED everything. Prices are so reasonable for the quality and quantity of food you get. This is a new favorite spot we will definitely be back. Everyone was so friendly too - even though it was our first time in they chatted with us and treated us like “regulars”. What a gem!!!

Small hometown dinner with about a dozen tables. Sufficiently staffed so, no waiting. The grits were like old-timey cooked grits.
Only oddity was the bathroom is located outside.

Just had breakfast today. Great prices, outstanding food. Try the gravy biscuits. Friendly staff. Really enjoyed it.

Greg serves up a fantastic breakfast and is supported by a very friendly, helpful, gregarious and honest team.

Had lunch here and everything was perfect… waitress was very friendly , attentive and knowledgeable …good prices, fair amount of food , and great banana pudding.

Wonder breakfast. We had a family of 9 adults and 1 child. Excellent service and the food was awesome. From egg/bologna sandwiches to biscuits and gravy to pancakes and omelets. Thank you!

I was in the area for a trial and stopped here for lunch. The food was delicious and the service is top tier. My trial ran over, so I came back the next day and the food was still delicious and service was impeccable! Get the fried flounder and thank me later. Ordered online and my food was ready when I arrived.

It's a small business that's packed with amazing tasteful food. You may have to wait a little bit for a table but it's well worth the wait! The staff is so friendly & inviting. I loved talking to the cashier(Cynthia), it was like we'd known each other before hand. We definitely plan on going back soon.

Discovered this jewel while exploring a little in Lancaster after a medical appointment. We could tell it must be a good place to try since when we passed by it originally it had gobs of cars. It was a great choice. We had the chicken fried steak special and I agree with the boyfriend, it was the best that I had ever eaten.
The service was friendly and professional not to mention how welcome our waitress made us feel. This is on our must revisit list!

We've eaten breakfast here a few times and I am impressed with the generous portions, good food, and the value we get for our money. It's a bit small - but that's worked out to our advantage and delight because we have met some great people to chat with.
