Prisma Health Fleetwood Convenient Care

This office has great healthcare providers and staff who are able to care for patients of all ages. They are open extended hours and are very efficient. I was in and out within 20 minutes during my last visit. Overall, GREAT experience!

Loved the nurses & doctor!

I'm giving 2 stars for the care of the doctor & nurses. They were wonderful. The wait however, took me 5 hours to get seen. 5 HOURS!!! People who had come in after me, we're being seen before me. Someone with the same problem as me, was also seen before me! After we got back to where the doctor was, it was another hour & a half! I got my xray for my sprained ankle at 7:15pm. It took until 8:30 pm for them to tell me it was sprained! Then we didn't get to leave until 9 pm. It was ridiculous! I don't like Prisma in general. I think they are all for money. The doctor & nurses were so sweet & very friendly. I hate to say they work for a TERRIBLE company.

Previously I have had very good experiences, but this one just ruined all the past feelings. I went in to get a recheck of a severe UTI I had. Told them due to my MS it was important to find out if there was still an infection or if I was having a flare. The urinalysis came back clear but with a high level of glucose, which wasn't at all addresses at the appointment at ALL. From there asked if they could start a steroid treatment, which they have done several times in the past. I was told very coldly, "I know NOTHING about MS so I refuse to treat it. We don't treat stuff like that!" I mention they in fact have,, but she wouldn't listen.. she told me I had a referral to a neuro, which I told her several times was an open referral, wasn't to a specific doctor. I was marched to front desk to find a number...to the non existent neuro I tried to explain not a place. Of course they couldn't find a number. I was told good luck and see u later. Was horrible to be told they they knew nothing about a serious disease, but wouldn't lift a finger to try and help a very scared patient. The front staff and the check in nurse was amazing, the rest was very heartbreaking. Was sent home with an antibiotic for an infection I didn't have, a shocked doctor, which thankfully did a video appt. Said that a blind person could see i needed checked immediately for diabetes and Google would of told them a steroid shot and script was needed to help me till I could get to my actual doctor! Good luck at being listened to, I'll update if the mysterious neuro is ever found!

Made the mistake of walking in as advertised on their website. After telling my symptoms to the front desk attendant , I was told to go home , citing a two hour wait. I came back in two hours and was told they would call me in my car when they were ready. After almost another hour wait , I got a text with a link to a virtual visit that I could have done from home.

Do not go here an hour or more before they close because they will tell you they are not an URGENT care, they are a CONVENIENT care, and some of the doctors stop seeing patients before this time. The doctors will tell the front staff they're done for the night, and the front staff will promptly dismiss you right back out the front door.
