I adore almost all aspects of this place. They work with most insurance, they work with the courts and school system and they work with individuals as well. The receptionist Lisa always has a smile on her face and immediately make you feel at home. I have seen multiple counselors here and each one is avidly engaged with sessions and shows genuine care and empathy as well as giving great tools to help people. Highly recommend them to all people because therapy can help anyone and everyone.( Small down side the got rid of their child care and the building is older however they are making a new one )

I was in a very bad place with my addiction and I have learned that Behavioral health of Pickens is a very caring place. The people are there to help you through a hard time. I would recommend anyone to go there if you need help

They will go above and beyond to help you, help yourself. I've tryed and failed at other places but here... they treat you with respect and compassion REGARDLESSof your income or situation. Go. If you can't get a ride, they will provide you with one. There's no excuse if you want help - this is the place to go!

I don't know how Pickens Behavioral Health is now but they use to be awesome!! It's been a long time since I've been here though but back in the day the staff really seemed to care about their patients/clients!! If any of the staff remembers me thank you guys!! I did have some relapses after I left but I am back on track and have almost 3 years clean thanks for all your help back then it is greatly appreciated and I have took some tools I learned with me along the way!! Much love & God Bless You All!! 💐🙏🌹

They dont care about people, told me $50 donation if you need shade for heat stoke during a downtown event, and the shade was outside their front entrance under by their window. I was struggling with heat stoke (65 plus) the 50 something guy with the flag shirt and thick chain necklace told me that the shade cost $50 donation. I almost died, but he gladly let young blonds in with no problem just because they were getting too much sun on thier face. Totally unexceptable and ruthless, uncaring acts by these people. The well rehearsed $50 for shade was also repeated by the brown haired 40 something women with the bandana on her head. Many other older people who were struggling from the heat were turned away as well. We all watched them allow many others who they did not know but liked how they looked enter the shaded area outside the front of the building.

DV class takes entirely to long. 26 weeks and doesn’t even count if instructor misses a week. No flexibility with your job. The class is very good though and instructed very well and organized. Just to long and not enough understanding that some people have jobs that require them to fill in if employees don’t show up

I called today because my son ( who is 21 but I have power of Attorney r/t mental health issues) was supposed to take a class.. Tracy hung the phone up on me 4 different times ( I recorded the calls r/t the fact she was extremely rude!! It is unbelievable to me the rude and disrespectful actions of the staff.. I am contacting NAMI to report their rude and disrespectful behavior!! It is unacceptable to treat the public with such disrespect!!!
