This is the church if you want to feel the love and the spirit our Father. This is a church. Sing dance and shout. Westside has it going on

I was a first-time guest today and I was very pleased with the experience. I’ve lived in Texas for almost 5 years and have not found a church to call home. Westside might be it. The people were kind, ushers were very attentive, the pastor was humble and approachable and clear with his message. He was also quite funny. The choir is unbelievable. What a great choir! The children’s church was closed today so I do want to check it out before committing. I left Westside happy and peaceful. I look forward to visiting again.

Feel free to visit any Wednesday night at 7:00 pm for mid week Bible Study or for Sunday morning service @9:45 am. Serve God, Share Christ, Love people.

Very uplifting. The Pastor (shepard) truly cares and trachrs

I recently relocated to Texas and was referred to this church by a relative. It’s the best welcome to Texas “gift” I received. The first day I attended the 7:45 am worship service, stayed for the 9:30 am “Kingdom Connections” Sunday School and went back into the sanctuary for the 10:45 am worship service. The choir rocks, the pastor teaches and the people are warm and welcoming. Need I say that I really enjoyed myself?! I recommend you prayerfully give Westside a visit. God might just lead you to return, join and become a part of a ministry team. I like what Pastor Thomas Bessix says, “We aren’t a perfect church, but a loving church.” In other words, we all are works in progress in God’s Hands.

Westside is transitioning and I look forward to our community outreach ministries growing and follow-up communication to new members and visitors improving (i.e. when visitors fill out the welcome card, it would be nice to email or mail them a thank-you note for visiting Westside and welcome them to return again).

Bessix is truly anointed and it shows outside of the pulpit. The church itself is very welcoming and takes no time to make you feel right at home. It is a perfect fit for anyone truly seeking God and to follow in his servitude.

I felt so welcome the few times i have been able to go. I hopefully will be able to find someone to keep eye on my service dog so i can attend again.

The worship experience was AWESOME!!! What a beautiful time of sharing in the Lord.

I really enjoyed the service today it was great. I’m so happy I was able to experience it all. I can’t wait to go back Sunday!

I'm not Baptist but the good folks at Westside were nice enough to hold a Town Hall meeting with Congressman Michael Burgess. They have a beautiful sanctuary and are community oriented.

Always a great place to praise the Lord. Very welcoming and loving. God is definitely present in singing, praying, worshipping and receipt of the Word of God.

Genuine place to connect with loving people. No matter your life's journey or ethnic background, there is someone who can relate. Jesus is always the reason at this place.

I love my church

Pastor Delvin Atchison studies hard and it shows every Sunday. The music ministry is second to none, and every one treats you like family.

We love our church! The word goes forth with power and anointing. The praise and worship experience is awesome. Come see for yourself!!!

What a warm and inviting Church. My wife and I were made to feel at home after moving to the area. Pastor Delvin Atchison is a Preacher of Preachers!
