Lakewood Church

It was an amazing experience. The praise and worship was through the roof!!! The comedy and game strategy used in the beginning of the conference was genius. It helped me to relax and transition from my cooperate demeanor and loosen up and lower my guard some and yet witness some fun competition. The real life experiences shared by the speaker along with some practical tools to achieve desired goals. All of these combined along with sharing the experience with thousands of other women seeking the same truly I let more empowered and inspired to be my best self!

Very large and friendly church for visitors. As a first time visitor, I was in Houston for business trip and easy to find the church and convince. Great sermon and praise!

It was a friendly, inviting, and welcoming church. I was greeted and welcomed no less than 12 times. Several thousand were in attendance. Pastor Joel was the presidir for the service today. The music and song was thrilling and inspirational. I left here lifted and joyful. It was a blessed experience.

A beautiful place of worship. I can not wait to be here in person.

Today is January 12th, 2024.
If anyone had told me that when I made this post ten months ago, I would be in Lakewood and Pastor Joel and his wife would even anoint me for the new year, I would never have believed.

ABBA Father, I thank you for the journey so far.

The church is massive! A whole stadium. Very organized. Contemporary praise and worship will keep you wanting more.

I came to learn more about pastor Joel through my husband and when finally moved to Houston could visit the church.
I was really impressed with the structure they offer in all level. Kids class in definitely amazing. Parents can clearly be part of the service knowing the kids are been well taking care of.
Very organized place, the team is amazing, the chore is a high level.

So awesome!! A life-changing experience! The church is beautiful. The best thing about Lakewood is the people. Everyone is so kind, happy, and friendly! The volunteers and greeters will welcome you so kindly and help you with anything you need. Pastor Joel Osteen is amazing and the worship is incredible! Everything is done with so much excellence!

I don't now why anyone would rate this awesome church anything less than a 5! Parking was easy, we were quickly greeted and sat in the 6th row, center stage. We attended the 8:30 service. We arrived at 7:50 , which was completely not necessary. The 8:30 service did not have as many greeters as the 11:00 crowd and the excitement of hoards of people coming in was missing at 8:30. Whatever! If I lived within an hour-&-a half of this church, I would be there all the time! Joel is such a sweet and humble servant, meeting people after the service; shaking hands, holding hands, looking you in the eye. The message was awesome, "The God Who Calls Back". I will never forget it. The choir sang, " Hallelujah, Honor and Glory". Praise the Lord! It was all unforgettable. Thank you Lakewood Family for making my vacation complete. I look forward to coming back again one day. Hopefully, sooner, than later!

Ten stars! Twenty!!! Loved, loved, LOVED it!!!! Such an amazing experience and well worth the wait although we wish we had come sooner!!! No idea why we waited so long! From the moment we walked in, every, single person we met looked us in the face and said good morning. Every, single person was smiling. The man who opened the door for us gave us to Amanda who led us through the whole building to the front section and someone else sat us in the fifth row to the right of center. We could see the Pastors! It was baby dedication day so they didn’t meet visitors after the services but we ‘ran into’ Joel and Victoria as we were leaving the sanctuary! He looked right at me and said good morning. We ended up chatting with them for a couple moments as they were ushered down the hall to go greet the families of the children that were blessed. We told them we came from Denver just to attend church, they exclaimed over it (how many others have told them the same, I couldn’t imagine but they acted as though it was the first time they’d heard of such a thing), he shook our hands. It was a divine moment for sure! Thank you Lakewood for enveloping us into your warmth and love. We just can’t say enough. It felt so good to be surrounded in the love of Christ. And when Pastor Joel says ‘…these are the finest people in all of Houston’ he is NOT kidding!!!! We will be back!

I cannot say enough good things about Lakewood!! I would listen and watch Joel many years ago when I first found my faith and he played such a big part in helping me establish a solid foundation. I moved to College Station back in March of 2021, and attended my first Lakewood service on October 2, 2021. It was so surreal for me at first that I was actually watching Pastor Joel preach in real life! But I have been attending ever since. My family makes the drive to Houston every Sunday because there is just no other place that fuels my spirit like Lakewood. All the pastors are so wonderful & encouraging. I was going through a really emotional time in my life when I first started attending and the Lakewood atmosphere was exactly what I needed. All the greeters and ushers make you feel right at home, just like Joel tells you they will. I love taking my family that visits us from out of state to Lakewood too! I feel like everyone should get to experience Lakewood, because that’s what it is; A WHOLE Experience!! I have watched people come with us as first time visitors receive salvation or reaffirm their faith! It’s such a beautiful House of Worship!!! I also love getting to hear all the guests speakers that visit and real life testimonies the church shares! Everything is just inspiring!

What a beautiful facility. It was so much more than I hoped for. The worship was fire, and the order of service flow was so seamless. Pastor Joel is such a wonderful man of God, he gets and embraces the love aspect many fail to understand. The encouragement is so needed and for those open to it, its contagious.

I attended the women's conference. I I enjoy praising here. I always leave replenished. I am grateful to serve the Financial Ministry. Thank you for the wonderful volunteer celebration.

This visit was something I have been waiting so long for and was worth the wait. The whole experience is beyond words I can put here but Joel is so personable, accessible by allowing you to get pics with him and shake his hand, and you can even pray with him.
The staff was all incredible friendly and a delight too. For a church this huge you might think it would lose the warmth, but it didn’t at all. God spoke to me so much through this experience and I am looking forward to my reconnecting with Jesus.
I can thank Joel, the staff, volunteers and everyone involved in the church enough for making this an amazing experience.
We will be back.

Traveled all the way from Cleveland, Ohio for the sole purpose of coming to LAKEWOOD CHURCH this past Sunday 7/24/22, I attended the 8:30am service it was the best church service I ever been to! I have been following Pastor Osteen for many many years, and I listen to channel 128 everyday in my car! It was absolutely AMAZING & I received the entire service from beginning to END! I will be back! I recommend you take a trip like I did you will leave feeling the love of GOD all over you they deliver the message so well! I’m looking to visit quite often if not relocate….

Very friendly it was our first time, usher walked us in showed us around. Had ushers seating guest.

Everyone was so nice and friendly. So welcoming! We were given a tour of the church and information about all the groups available to our family. The service was amazing and uplifting. Loved ever moment. We will return when we are back in Houston.

I've watched Lakewood Church on YouTube many times; the videos are great, but it doesn't compare to the electrifying experience of being there in person!!! You absolutely must come to visit Pastor Joel Osteen's church, it is better than any concert you will ever experience. You will absolutely feel God's love, his grace, his forgiveness, his blessings and healing pouring deeply into your very heart. You won't leave the same way you came in. The experience was so intense I couldn't help but shed tears, and I wasn't the only one. The music, the performance, the fellowship, the preaching, the services to the community is beyond excellent!!! God is truly in this place!!! Bring the whole family, come experience a glimpse of heaven on earth. You will be forever changed.

I always enjoy the Sunday morning service! I’m so glad the my dearest friend Miss Robin Mickley introduced me to this wonderful church a few years ago.
