Almost 6 years ago, Home Window Tinting tinted the windows in our main bedroom to reduce glare on the synthetic grass outside the windows. We were very pleased with Tim and team, the product has worked perfectly. We recently contacted them to see if we could have additional windows tinted for privacy, as well as UV protection. They were very helpful in recommending the appropriate products for our needs. Wayne (the installer) was so professional, courteous and did such an outstanding job in explaining things and making sure I was pleased with the outcome. I was blown away at how conscientious he was!

Home Window Tinting tinted our home windows 15 years ago. I had to replace two very large windows from storm damage and was thrilled to see they were still in business and needed to match the new glass with the same tint shade. Their men matched the tint shade perfectly and did an amazing job. These guys are the best!

Had an incredibly stress-free, smooth process from start to finish. Tim Miller is the least “sales man-ish” person ever in the sense that he won’t push you to get something. He genuinely explained/compared different films and which combos would be appropriate for our home. I also really appreciate the flexibility- changed my mind twice ON the day of installation lol but the installers rolled with it & were prepared to cater to last minute changes (within reason). Seamless, positive experience, would 100% recommend to everyone!

Excellent job installing tint on our home. We had to replace a few windows and Anthony expertly was able to recommend tint to match our existing tint installed years prior us owning the home. Can't say enough about how professional Anthony is at making recommendations to achieve our goals we wanted with the amount of lighting and heat conservation we desired for our home tint project.

Rob answered all my annoying questions. Install was quick and treated my windows like they where his own. Windows look great might have more done.

Home Window Tinting installed tint on 3 west facing windows in our home. The heat and UV rays were unbearable where we couldn't sit or utilize the space. Antony did an outstanding job during our consultation. Recommended the best product for what we needed. He solved the problem! The install team also did an outstanding job. Even though we had a fairly small project at our home, we were treated as valued customers throughout the process. They were very professional and answered my many questions about our needs for a set of upper story decorative windows that face the setting sun. The installation was scheduled very quickly and was done efficiently. We had an excellent experience and I would definitely use their services again.

Tim educated us on our options when we dropped in to the showroom and we were able to schedule installation in just a few days. Wayne showed up on time and quickly tinted our windows. One room which was always hot before feels cooler with the tint (although the actual temperature didn't go down too much).

UPDATE: @Tim: Although the room FEELS cooler now that the windows are tinted, the actual room temperature only dropped one or two degrees. We're now thinking that there might be some other reason for the room to be warmer: perhaps the computer is putting out more heat than we realized or maybe there not a great return path for the air from that room.

5 stars all around. This is a great company with great products! They were extremely knowledgeable and able to direct us to the perfect product to solve our needs. We had the Night Vision 15 film applied to our front door to help with privacy. We are more than thrilled with the results. Better than expected privacy without obscuring any view looking out. They recommended sun control film (Prestige 50) for our closet windows, and we were very glad they did. Liked the result so much, we added it to our Garage windows. Garrett was our installer. He was on-time, professional and meticulous during the install process. We had solar screens on our windows in our previous home. They were bulky, hard to clean and not very pretty. So glad we chose film for this house! Definitely recommend!

I live in a zero lot line home and Home Window Tinting & Commercial came out and installed privacy frost film on the windows facing the neighbors brick wall. It turned out gorgeous. The light comes through and we don't see the view of a brick wall. We also had energy efficient film installed on all the other windows in our home. It provides great protection from sun damage to our flooring and furniture and has decreased our electric bill. During the day it provides privacy because it has a reflective look. We installed shades for privacy when the sun goes down. I highly recommend this company. Tim, the owner, is extremely knowledgeable about window tint and decorative film. The installer, Chris, was very professional and there was no mess during the installation. Chad was the sales estimator. He was a pleasure to work with and efficient in measuring the windows with a quick estimate for the job. Thank you Home Window Tint & Commercial!

Used Tim’s company to tint my bedrooms and bath.
My master bedroom/bathroom catches the rising sun and a bedroom up front caught the setting sun.
House faces perfect east and west.
They did a fantastic job installing the tint.
Took care of things.
Like, took off their shoes to stand in the tub and tint that glass.
The tint it’s self..
It’s done great.
We wanted it dark and cooler in these rooms, it’s dark and cooler in these rooms now.
Worth it.
Might do it to the rest of the house.

Tim did all the windows in my new home in 2003 - almost 20 years ago - and I never had any issues with the film. I just had all glass on the east and south sides replaced with Low-E glass because many were fogging. Tim's install crew (Garrret & Garret) came out 2 days ago and put the 3M film on the new windows. It was an all-day task, but they were professional, neat, and did a great job! The film was immediately effective in blocking the damaging sun rays. No worries now about furniture, carpets, etc. fading from the morning sun.

I posted a review by accident about Lone Star , they no longer to residential tinting. The 5 star review is all about the incredible customer service from Tim to his crew. Tim asked alot of questions to really understand why we were getting our windows tinted, for example... for privacy, to protect art work and furniture, or is it about the heat and/or glare. Tim made a suggestion and he was 100% correct ! The crew came out and they were very professional and personable . I can't say enough good things about this company!! We will use them again. His crew made some great suggestions, Never a pressure sale !!!Great People , Great Company, Great Product... Guaranteed!

I finally decided to get our home windows done in June 22' as it was looking like, and is in fact a very hot summer this year. I had looked two years ago and decided to wait on spending the cash. (Covid)

Tim runs a top notch business and his team reflect that. Our install was exactly like all the other positive reviewers. Very professional, very clean. They will not hesitate to do a 100% perfect job. Example, I had one tiny issue with one window, off the tint came for a redo, and when they weren't satisfied with their fix, off it came again for a third time. I didn't even see an issue with it, but they saw something.

Let these guys fix you up. As for the efficacy of the tint, it works. Our west side window were baking our living room and three of the upstairs bedrooms. We did all windows in the common area with the darkest of the Night Vision by 3M. I think it's the 15? Our goal was heat rejection. One thing to consider, when you do that many windows in one room, the total effect of cutting out that much light compounds. While it is a tad dark in the room in the mornings, when the sun comes around in the afternoon, you don't ever think you made the wrong call.

Besides, our blinds were closed all day anyway, making it darker than with the tint and letting in a lot of heat. Now we can leave our blinds open, see out, reject heat, AND tame the death ray that is the Texas summer sun, and not be blinded with the blinds open. Oh yeah you get privacy too. You can do different (lighter) tint in rooms that don't have as many windows. A few of ours were left un-tinted and some had a lighter tint. Just another option. Again we wanted heat rejection and knew it was a compromise with the lighting. We have some south facing windows we left alone to allow more indirect light in to compensate. Works like a charm

Great communication ahead of appointment, team showed up in company logo clothing with names visible and introduced themselves upon arrival. They worked quickly, charged what was quoted and brought some options for me to see in person. Would use again and highly recommend.

The key to winning my business is with customer service, a quality product, and good workmanship. Not only was Home Tinting & Commercial the only business to answer my online request for an estimate, the owner, Tim, personally came over to my home to educate me on residential window film, understand my goals, and provide several options. While his quote as higher than I had imagined (his quote was the first one so I had no basis for comparison - just what I would imagine how much it would cost), I did not bother getting other quotes because I felt comfortable in trusting his knowledge & experience for the job.

True to his word, his installers were courteous, professional, and cleaned up after themselves. Along the way, I asked questions and they were friendly & courteous enough to talk to.

If my OCD kicks in, then I will definitely give them a call to do the other windows in my house.
