Had a great dinner here for Valentines and have to sat they handled the overwhelming crowd pretty efficiently. There was an extra delay of getting a table but it was worth it. Place can seem a bit pricey to some but it's worth it. Their bread alone is priceless and it's free 😋! Pizza is pot on, prosciutto was fresh! If you want to try a real Teramisu cake, they have it, and it's fresh and perfectly crafted. Mushrooms Arnancini was delicious but only 4 little bites, but full of flavor.

I have been to Coppa once or twice and the food is always excellent. The are is a bit of a pain for parking and getting around. Very congested. The service is ok. They get very crowded so the waiters may delay quite a bit before coming back if you are not 100% ready to order. The waitstaff in general was very pleasant and helpful.

Overall the food was excellent. We tried the zucchini appetizer and it was perfect for the three of us to get us ready for the main meal. Really enjoyed the pasta dishes, but think the Chicken “under a brick” stole the show; it was fantastic. Also for any tomato based pasta dishes, I had them include a meatball. Complemented the dish well and the meat ball was delicious.

The desserts were also very good. Enjoyed the Torino and the Hazlenut Chocolate Cake, which we all thought really was the winner. Amazing cake.

The place was clean and open, but when it gets crowded with quite busy. The waitstaff also got busy so expect a slight delay of service in high times. The bathrooms were also clean and well kept, but very small. Only two stations for the male side.

The bar seems well stocked with some descent levels of drinks. Nothing extravagant, but you can get a basic good drink there and their mixed cocktails seemed fairly good.

Overall a very nice experience. Fun place to dine with friends. The food quality is solid. Will definitely come back again.

Staying in the medical center and found this gem of an eatery! Holy moly! Delish! The charred octopus and halibut specials were incredible! Definitely recommend this place. They have valet services not sure the exact times. And probably the best espresso martini I’ve ever had!

A Houston staple. I’ve been coming to coppa for years and they have never lost touch with their flavor! As you can tell from the reviews they’re well known for the carbonara. It’s very true, just get it. We get it without fail every time we’re here. This time I also got the steak with potatoes as well. Seasoned sooooo well. Lastly indulged in the classic tiramisu and espresso martini here that was also to die for. I love places that have a talent for the classics, Coppa does them perfectly well IMO. The service is always great, prompt but they don’t stop by way too often. The restaurant itself is large, very moody lighting, perfect for a romantic setting. If the place is full it can definitely be loud and overwhelming so pick a night that isn’t slated for that if you’re a first timer.

First time at this restaurant and won't be our last! The food was amazing, and I would recommend the bread with 3 different butters! The spaghetti carbonara was absolutely pleasant. The parking in the garage area is extremely limited but valet is like $10. Parking in the parking garage was in increments of 1,2, and 4 hours about 2ish dollars an hour.

I had the Italian chopped salad and the pasta Mandy with chicken! Both highly recommended! I made an order for delivery. The flavor of the salad was great, I would order again, I just wish it had more of the ingredients, was mainly just iceberg lettuce. The pasta was amazing! I can’t describe the flavor but the tomatoe sauce, the pasta itself, the mozzarella on top, just perfection!!
I also saw other reviews mentioned they got warm bread when they were seated, so if that was a thing I wish they would of sent some.

My favorite is their carbonara spaghetti, and their carnissima pizza. They have outside sitting as well for when the weather is nice.

A peaceful place for a low-key date night. The food quantity is decent for the prices. The authentic Italian flavours🤌🏻 Loved the candle light dinner ambiance. Finding a parking spot was a hassle.

Came here for lunch. We were kindly greeted and directed to our table promptly. Our main server was very kind and polite. We were given warm bread and butter while we decided what to order. The beverages and appetizers arrived quickly at the table. We ordered Burrata Tartufo and we shared Tagliatelle Nero Di Sepia; everything was exquisite! As for dessert, we tried Tortino and it was a great indulgence! We had a great experience here. Definitely plan on coming back here soon.

Enjoyed Coppa Osteria very much / our dinner was perfect — wait staff very attentive -/ the only thing not perfect was having to ask twice for fresh Parmesan… simple mistake. We’ll Definitely select Coppa again for a terrific dining experience!

Delicious! Husband and I went for a date night on Friday. Made reservation for 6, seated immediately and the hostess brought us a glass of wine for it being our first time! The wait staff was great, constantly making sure our waters were full. The food was awesome! We both got carbonara and loved it. My only complaint was it was very hot to me but could have been where we were sitting the fact they were packed. Will be back!

Service was impeccable. If I could only remember our servers name…
The restaurant wasn’t busy when we walked in on a Monday for lunch. My friend wanted to start off with some wine but had a hard time choosing which ones. Our server offered to let her sample the two she was choosing between, which was so nice of him.
We started off with the pepperoni pizza, that I really enjoyed. I ordered the Garganelli, which is the pesto with pulled chicken, I ate the whole plate. My friend ordered the bolognese, so I tasted a bit of hers and omg it’s so good. I wish they could make the pasta spicy though lol. We ordered donuts for dessert and they came out piping hot. I’m not a donut girl but those little things were addictive. Since it was my birthday, my friend asked them to bring out some cotton candy. (Idk if this was a bday thing) They came walking out with a giant glass of cotton candy with sparklers! I loved it. I’ll definitely be back

I tried several items from the Houston Restaurant Week menu which included four courses for $55. I highly recommend this restaurant for an Italian fine dining experience. Waitress was very attentive.

All of the first courses (Mushroom Arancini, Fried Mozzarella,Crispy Spiced Chickpeas) were delicious. My favorite was the Mushroom Arancini! So rich in flavor.

All second courses (Burrata Tartufo, Meatball al Forno, COPPA Caesar) were delicious as well. Favorite was meatball!

Third course I tried was Linguine alla Scampi and it was good, but not my favorite. You might want to add Parmesan cheese. I tried the Spaghetti Carbonara (not pictured), and I would have preferred that dish. It was delicious! It was more rich in flavor than the shrimp scampi.

Desserts I tasted were Hazelnut Chocolate Cake and Tiramisu. The cake was average and a bit drier than I expected, but the Tiramisu was TOP TIER. It was moist and delicious!

I love this place!! Such a fantastic corner location, with a great outdoor patio area. I enjoy the energy and atmosphere of the restaurant and people. I last visited with a very demanding friend who frequents here often. The staff were amazing the way they catered to someone so demanding. They were so efficient, accommodating and extremely friendly. I enjoy the drinks selection here. The food is always fresh, delicious and beautifully plated. Definitely worth a visit. Always a pleasant dining experience, especially on the patio at this time of year!!
