Fireside BBQ

It's as authentic as it can get! The brisket bowl was amazing and a Texas sized portion to boot. Definitely recommended if you're around Sulphur Springs.

Wife and I stopped in on a Thursday afternoon at 2:30, October 4, 2023. We ordered a two meat plate with corn and potato salad. Both were delicious. The brisket and pulled pork are both exceptionally good. A 2 meat plate is $16. We also had the stuffed jalapeños which are wrapped in bacon and have Hamburger with cheese and all kinds of goodness inside. Note that they have no public restrooms here, but there is a gas Station less than a 10th of a mile down the road.

Glenn (the owner) was super nice! Brisket and pork were great, fresh ingredients all around, very affordable, banana pudding was fluffy and delicious, and new friend cinnamon roll with cinnamon cookie dough ice cream was sooooo good! Loved it!

My wife and I eat here often. We like the food so much, we asked the owner, Glen, if he'd be interested in cooking for 100 people, for our wedding. He did, and did not disappoint!!! I cook alot and I know the task was huge but he nailed it. Would highly recommend him.

The pulled pork was phenomenal!! I knew immediately the banana pudding was homemade and it did not disappoint. Out of this world!! The owners were very kind and gracious. Thank you for a delicious lunch!!

This is THE place to get some great Texas BBQ. the service was great and the owner was friendly. He kept checking in on us. He even gave us some homemade apple bread as a courtesy.

We were driving up from Nashville to San Antonio and stopped by for lunch and so glad we did! They had a limited selection due to the holiday but that didn’t matter because the brisket and pulled pork sandwiches were amazing! The owner was very friendly and gave us recommendations on places to stop along our way. When we are making this trip again we will stop by again!

The best! Amazing food, conversation, and service. Monster nachos are our favorite.

We went on Saturday, and they had fried fish, but we wanted BBQ. He replaced us with a brisket sandwich, pulled pork, potato salad, fries, and banana pudding. Everything was delicious. The meat was lean and not full of fat. Usually, I wouldn’t say I like anyone’s potato salad except moms, but their potato salad was good (with chunks of potato, not like mashed potatoes). They gave us some alligator sausage to try, which was good. My husband liked the banana pudding. I would recommend it to everyone, especially staying at the local state park down the road.

I have had BBQ all over Texas but this Place was By far the Best I have had Owner was Super Nice made you Feel Welcomed not like another Sale, The Brisket was Great the pulled Chicken very good and the Fried Pies will lay you out all in all “GREAT FOOD” and AMAZING SERVICE!!!

Best barbecue in this part of the country and he opened up his business to feed my construction crew on a Saturday wow. I had a crew of starving guys and he was closed but came in and fed us all with a smile asking nothing in return. When I thanked him he simply smiled and said “welcome to the country we take care of each other” thank you brother. Good people do exist and this man is proof of that!

First time here and........ brisket sandwiches were amazing! Potato salad was on point, and the spicy corn was very good! I will be back!

Good grief they make a tasty hamburger. Nicely seasoned fries too! We sampled the brisket and man was that delicious.

More than what I hoped it would be. Fantastic staff, better brisket, sausage was great. pulled pork was amazing. And that corn, oh that corn. Need to come back for some ribs!

We stopped here while on the way home to Houston from vacation with the family. This is easily the very best bbq pulled pork sandwich I have had in my entire life. The owner showed us great hospitality and made us feel welcome and appreciated.

Stopped by here while camped out at Cooper Lake. Awesome bbq, great smoke flavor! Got a chopped brisket sandwich and some banana pudding to-go for a campfire snack as well. 100% recommend if you're close by!😋

I looooooove this spot! Best brisket sandwich in Hopkins County fr! And the guy that operates it is Kool! You gotta stop by! Give the smoke chicken a try too!
