Alan King did a great job selling my house last year. I have worked with him for more than ten years buying, selling, and also managing my rental properties and he has always come through for me. He is a wealth of knowledge and a true leader in the single family real estate world. I really appreciate his help all these years and I highly recommend him.

Alan King & Associates Real Estate has managed my families' rental home for over 4 years. We could have not chosen a better representative while we were out of the country. Alan King has always been the expert voice when i needed real estate advice. He sold me my first home and taught me along the way what to look for. We are a Miltary family so we had to put up our house for rent pretty fast. Best decision ever was to go with Alan King rental company! We rented out our house within a month or so. Alan Jr. is rude and unprofessional. Alan Sr. has never been anything but kind. We had a great experience for 3.5 years but Jr's handling of the sale of our rented home and our last month of residency was dreadful. Be careful. You may be treated like a treasured client or a criminal. Depends on who you get.

I just made a call to know the availability of a property I’m interested in and from the very beginning the man (Alan) who answered my call started bombarding me with questions in a rather negative/completely rude attitude and just looking for any excuse to not to give me the opportunity to at least visit the house. Evidently, this person wrongly stereotyped me because of my Hispanic accent to the point that he just wanted to find anything to say no to. This is the first time something like this has happened to me. If you as a company have any racial inclinations I urge you to specify this in you property's posts, so we refrain from calling and avoid going through that pointless interrogation. Super unprofessional and absurd way of find potencial customers. When I have a property to rent, believe me, these people will not be my property managers.

Bought a home from Alan's client. Both he and his client lied on the disclosures. He's now ignoring our messages and calls. We have been forced to hire an attorney to recover damages. Buyers-- if you see this man selling a house you're interested in, run the other way.

In all honestly I would not recommend Alan King & Associates as a property manger. I hired him and his son for about a year and in the end my home was returned to me in a horrible condition. Not only was I not in the loop of the selection of tenants, structural changes where made to my home. Only after the fact was the sorry excuse of "there must have been a miscommunication."

I was approached with a month to month agreement which the move out date was up until April 30, 2020. Mr. King failed to inform me that the tenants decided to move out 9 days into April and he would prorate the 9 days only and not the entire month. When I raised the disagreement he acted as if he was a judge and if this was brought before him as a judge. There would be no way a judge would allow a tenant to pay for the entire month and have only stayed 9 days. I had to remind him that neither one of us are a judge nor do we practice law. Then tried to direct me to his contract saying that he was capable of prorating rent. Yet in his contract he states that he will not prorate. (loophole) When I asked Mr. King why was I not informed that they was leaving, his response was another sorry excuse of he thought he told me. In all Mr. King compromised and agreed to pay me $1000 from the company basically the rent that was owed for the month of April.

Mr. King was unaware of the pet the tenants had, when I inquired about the pet due to my neighbor's informing because he had no clue. He asked me if I had any information about it. Later Mr. King claims after reviewing the file the tenants did pay for a pet deposit. Yet, balance sheets never reflected a pet deposit the entire yet.

Mr. King claimed he did a final walk of the house and said the house was ready to be relisted. The condition was great minus the preexisted damage which was minimal. When I inspected the property, the odor of dog urine was strong and pet hair was everywhere. Not to mention the dog waste that was left in the garage. A broken window which he failed to mention, along with the failed patch work the tenants left behind. Heavy stained carpets, which provided a invoice order not a actually receipt which was date a week prior to the move out date. In turn I spent $700 to get the carpet in fair condition and kill the pet odor. I sent him a video of my findings to which Stanley steamer pointed out, which he did not respond.

Overall I DONT NOT RECOMMEND Alan King & Associates!!! I'm intrigued to know what connections these positive reviews have with Mr. King and his Associate. (Perhaps a family member)
