The owner is very friendly and personally takes care of each table. I enjoyed my lunch. They also have buffet option that looks great and has lots of different options.

An intimate atmosphere that is friendly and fun. The food is great. I had the smoked salmon baguette. Good house wine and awesome staff put the experience over the top for me. I highly recommend recommend, and will certainly be back again.

A real persian cuisine, good service, professional staff, and cozy place make this cafe wonderful. Strongly recommend to try.

A cozy place with warm environment and wonderful staff and manager. Fresh home cooked Mediterranean. Kinda unique cafe in Houston. Reasonable price. Simple yet elegant dishes that would be a great choice for catering an event as well. A perfect variety of healthy good food, great for vegetarians and vegans. Desserts were amazing!

For only $3.50 you get a huge bowl of lentil soup that is amazing! Their vegan wrap is also super delicious. I'm so glad I decided to stop by here for lunch today as this place will become a daily staple! Looking forward to trying the lunch buffet soon!

Excellent. I am glad that we stumbled upon this restaurant. The food was very flavorful, fresh, and they had a good variety. Nice personable staff too. I will definitely be returning.

We brought our two granddaughters here. Hoda is such a wonderful hostess. The kids loved her food. We enjoyed the kebab plate and the lentil soup. The hummus is different from the other restaurants and had a nice flavor of truffle we think. Definitely recommend it for Hoda's sense of humor and hospitality too.

Love the desserts and the buffet is always nice. The intimacy of the place and the owners personal touch and customer service brings us back to earlier times before corporate eating became all we get. Try it out for the food but especially for the personal service

Came to Barans for the 3rd time and have loved the food and service. First time we had the buffet and have tried quite a bit of the menu too. Lovely recipes from her mom. Very nice speaking with Hoda. Will look forward to the next time.

This place has quickly become one of my favorite restaurants! I highly recommend checking out their lunch buffet where you can try different items. Everything tastes delicious! The owner, Hoda, is very friendly and the atmosphere is very cozy. Looking forward to my next visit soon

Comfortable atmosphere and friendly staff. They serve a hot and very delicious buffet on Saturdays and Sundays. They change the buffet entres each day and showcase different dishes from their menu.

We had a great night at Baran's Cafe. The food was great, we tried a couple of different foods, tea, and pastry. The environment was also very relaxing and cozy and more importantly, the owner and the staff were so friendly and approachable. We definitely recommend this place and we sure will go back there!

They have an amazing environment and great quality in their foods. The service and the employees are wonderful well. I was waiting for a long time for them to open this branch on this side of the town.

Amazing place to have a coffee and delicious desserts 😋 We had rollet with touch of rose water and it was the best in Houston. Definitely come back. Thank you for bringing back good memories 🙏
