A-Tan Asian Bistro & Sushi Bar

We sat at the sushi bar and the chefs and service was great. I had a roll a ramen. The ramen was ok, the roll I ordered was the star of the lunch.

It's so much better than I expected.
Rini (the waitress) was really wonderful and polite. She answered all of our questions and helped us out. I highly recommend that you try this place out. The food was outstanding, and it was good.

This is a very beautiful location and the restaurant has a great vibe to it. The staff was very friendly and the food was delicious. My wife and I had lunch there, but are excited to go back for dinner and eat on the back porch and have drinks.

Been here twice and I've enjoyed the food both times. Other than a consistent flickering light in the area where we sat, I have no complaints.

Went here on a recommendation of some very good friends and just loved it.

We started with the hot and sour soup and wonto soup. They both were some of the best we've ever had. Normally, we would eat some of the soup to save room for dinner, but we both at ever bit of our soup. Words can't explain how good they both were.

Dinner was just as good! We had General Tso chicken and Teriyaki chicken, both outstanding. I wish mine had a little more heat, but other than that the food was amazing. This place is extremely busy every time we go and a bit pricy but we'll worth it.

Excellent selection of sushi rolls and sashimi, fun drinks and good sake selection, nice decor and atmosphere. Tasty food with some vegetarian options.

Excellent! Seguin Surprise! Really enjoyed the evening at A-Tan . Beautiful standout building. Parking right out front. Walked into a bustling Bistro and Bar and greeted by Hostess and other servers immediately. We asked to sit at the classic sushi bar and our server welcomed us and took our drink order in less than a minute. We ordered a 370ml bottle of cold non-filtered sake the server recommended, ordered a couple bowls of their Miso soup and checked out their menu.
My son is a regular at their New Braunfels location and picked out his go-to favorites. To start, the Lobster Tower and the Gruene Roll. I ordered the Squid Salad and a couple of my favorite raw seafood rolls; Yellowtail Roll and Tuna roll.
The Miso soup came out quickly and it was excellent. They were generous with the Miso and tofu and got us started-off nicely.
The Lobster Tower was spectacular and I’d highly recommend that to anyone. The combination of sauces used in this dish were excellent. See the picture I posted to appreciate the presentation,
The Squid Salad was exceptional and they added fresh fresh cucumber and their own touch that made this dish a favorite.
The Rolls were nicely put together and the classic Tuna roll was fresh and the attention to detail was appreciated.
The Yellowtail roll was excellent as well.
I decided to plan a visit to try the Nigiri and Sashimi in a couple weeks! This was a great find and I expect to make this one of my go-to locations. 5+ stars.

Amazing restaurant. Prices are on par for what you get. Very generous portions of sushi. Spicy tuna roll had a kick I couldn't quite put my finger on. Service was perfect. Dining room was very clean. Cannot wait to go back.

The best sushi in our area. We’ve ventured to other sushi restaurants and always return to A Tan. The tuna tower is the best hands down, amazing centipede roll, sashimi is always extremely fresh and not too finely sliced, and our kids are obsessed with the gyoza. We often call our order in ahead of time to limit our time in the restaurant since our 2yo son doesn’t sit for long periods well, but when we have ordered at the restaurant and waited for our food, they are always so extremely kind to our kids and often bring them colors and a coloring sheet. We eat there often and have only had poor service once but the waitress was new. The atmosphere is great and it’s always extremely clean. As sushi lovers, A Tan gets 5 stars all the way around.

We love ATan!! This is the 3rd time here and we've never been disappointed. The sushi rolls are amazing, and the drinks too. This time around I ordered the Astro, Hawaiian, and Gruene, last two are sweet rolls. The Long Island iced tea I ordered was also one of the best I've ever had!
We highly suggest coming here for date night!
We've also done take-out and the process was super easy as well as pickup.

Best Sushi in Seguin. If sushi isn’t your thing no worries they have many other options. Amazing views and a beautiful place. Chefs and all the staff are super fun and friendly.

Had read the other reviews and decided to give it a try. Best decision of my day. Food was really good and the portions were huge. The atmosphere and service were incredible. Highly recommend. Definitely be back.

This was our first time visiting the Seguin A-Tan, and we absolutley love it. The location is so beautiful, and the food and service were amazing! Highly recommend trying if you love Sushi! Cheers!

The wife ordered Tonkotsu Ramen with pork, and she enjoyed her meal, too.

We went for lunch on a weekday and were treated to flawless meal experience. Service, cleanliness, attractive facility, outdoor dining, fresh and well-prepared food, delicious - we ate every bite, and reasonably priced. What a gem!

Absolutely fabulous Asian food in downtown Seguin. Best egg drop soup we've ever had. Lovely appetizers of Gyoza and Thai Spicy Crunchy Shrimp, both outstanding. Veggie Lo-Mein and General Tso's Chicken rounded out our meal and we were delighted with both entrees. Plenty to take home, too. This is definitely a hidden gem and highly recommended.

Cute place, delicious, nice view and a surrounding park, casual service which is suite this place a lot. Rolls was very tasty, 5 out of 5.

The beef teriyaki was very good and not over cooked or too sweet like most places. Spicy salmon roll was also a treat. The servers were all wearing masks which I personally find off putting at this point when none of the customers had masks on. Hopefully they let go of the mask obsession soon because the food is great and it would be nice to see some smiles too.

A-Tan Asian Bistro has the freshest, most delicious Asian food I've eaten in a long time! I've looked for a restaurant as good as this in San Antonio but have not been able to find one. So I guess we'll have to continue to drive 1.5 hours to get great Asian food.

Love their Gyozu, Spring Rolls & Kung Pao Chicken!
