The Lark Shop

This address is actually home to two businesses: The Lark Shop (previously Pattywhacks & Company), which is run by a mother, and Tree House Arts + Crafts, which is run by her daughter. I visited here as part of a Where's Waldo search for local businesses, but when I arrived, I was afraid that I had gone to a private residence. The new name wasn't updated on the Waldo card, but the mother wisely placed an old store sign outside to assist befuddled customers.

Fortunately, 🎶"I saw the sign, and it opened up my mind" 🎶 Once I climbed the few steps and cautiously entered, she set my mind at ease with a warm greeting and assured me that I was in the right location. She explained the history, function, and layout of the two businesses. The shop feels airy and comfortingly eclectic. The items are tastefully arranged throughout several front rooms with delightful wall decorations. There are a few parking spots in front of the building.

An absolute charm of a store! Visit just for the pleasure of being there, buy a dress or a gift as a bonus.
