DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Houston - Greenway Plaza

I've stayed at the DoubleTree at Greenway several times over the last couple years and have always been a satisfied customer. I use the Hilton Honors app and check in remotely and walk right up to my room, so I've had somewhat limited interaction with the staff. But when I have, it's always been a pleasant, professional experience. While it may not be the newest property in town and is probably up for a refresh, it's always been a very comfortable and accommodating stay. The hotel bar and restaurant is excellent; really friendly staff and a great menu as far as bars go. An in-house Starbucks is the cherry on top.

Double queen room was very spacious, comfortable beds, big TV with desk and nice rolling chair. Separate space for iron board & addl drawers. Pillows could be a bit more firm. Bar area was nicer but pretty expensive!!

Had an issue because I booked through a 3rd party using USAA, front desk was patient and awesome Mr. K made me feel welcome! Room is spacious and clean and the hotel has alot of prop places for cute photos.

Do not listen to the bad reviews! This hotel is just fine! Beautiful floor to ceiling windows and views. The rooms are SLIGHTLY dated but they are still better than a lot of hotels I’ve been in. The hotel itself is not dated though. If you are on the fence, book it and you will not be disappointed

Excellent hotel accommodations, service, food, and reasonably priced. I have been a Hilton Diamond member for many years, and this was one of the best Hilton properties I've ever stayed at. Highly recommended!

The room were clean and the staff are very friendly. We will definitely book this hotel again in the near future.

Cons: Elevators got a bit wonky at times. Sometimes we'd push a button on one side of the elevator and it wouldn't work, but pushing it on the other side picked our floor just fine. Parking garage downstairs was a bit of a hassle.

Pros: Great location if you're trying to get downtown. Staff was super courteous towards me. Great view of the plaza from an east-facing room. Lots of food options nearby. Easy access to and from the freeway.

Perfect experience! Randall, Carrington and Miss Q were so kind and helpful. This is a perfect location and valet was very polite. The museum district isn’t far from here!

Pricey, but very good quality throughout our stay. Be prepared to pay for parking.

Shower water pressure is excellent. Clean and well maintained public spaces and rooms.
Outdoor seating on both sides of the lobby level.
Bar near the elevators, and a good breakfast buffet served by an attentive staff

Came here for a conference. And this is definitely the place to stay. You don't have to leave the building for anything. Very welcoming staff here. From Valet parking, front desk, room services, bar and restaurant. Trust me you will not be disappointed. Great food. Very clean rooms, restrooms. Customer service very nice and great customer service. Gratitude

Leaving this review because while everything here was pretty good. Douglas' at the Rocks service was exceptional.

Great Hotel. Fitness center is huge and well equipped. A well maintained Starbucks store is in the lobby. The breakfast is good and healthy. Rooms are spacey and big.

Decent price for a decent hotel with all sorts and types of amenities.
Clean rooms and quick service, but the parking price is kinda ridiculous! 25 dollars per day...
Besides the parking everything else was good

We enjoyed our stay! I recommend always getting an upper level room because the view of the city at night is just spectacular. The staff was excellent even the valet was wonderful.

Our refrigerator didn’t work but we improvised with the ice bucket lol (room 1524) get that fixed guys gotta have the fridge lol

I recently had the pleasure of working with the event director Gemma for two off-site corporate meetings, and I must say that I was thoroughly impressed with their professionalism and attention to detail. From the initial planning stages to the execution of the event, she was always available to answer any questions and address any concerns that we had.

The meeting space was set up perfectly, with all the necessary equipment and amenities readily available. Gemma also went above and beyond to ensure that all of our catering needs were met, and the food was delicious and presented beautifully.

Overall, I would highly recommend this the Greenway Plaza location for any corporate event. Their level of service and attention to detail truly made our off-site meeting a success. Our hotel service great lobby rooms and just about everything else was kept very clean. The valet drivers and all front staff were all very nice and accommodating. We were there for a couple of nights for an operation, everything was great very accommodating. Location was perfect easy to get in and out of and right on the highway.

Apart from those warm delicious cookie, the service provided by Deandre Reece and
Alex Perkins was spectacular. We stayed with our parents who needed special care.. and they were on top of it. My dad left a valuable stuff and they were very kind enough to mail back to us..
Between warm cookie and them it's hard to select who was the upmost best , I think will go with the later..

I liked this hotel. The top floor views were nice though night viewing was better. Most of the room is abit dated but everything functioned as it should minus a noisy appliance I unplugged for the night. Not bad for the price.

Be aware the car parking is below the hotel your parking is covered in the stay so take the ticket to checkin then get a room key to get in and out.

We were there to attend Lakewood Church (Joel Osteen,) the hotel is an older property, but well maintained, clean, AMAZING staff and the hotel food and service was far above expectation.
