Thank goodness for David Jack -- he is the best! I have been going to him for years to color and cut my hair. I don't need to take a picture because he asks AND listens to what I want & we discuss. His expert sense of style, what is up-to-date AND flattering, and balanced cutting make me very happy.
You can tell he likes doing hair (for 40+ years) because he is smiling and I am pleased the whole time with the enjoyable experience.

This was my third time to get a haircut from him, and I can tell you, there will be a fourth, and a fifth, and a sixth and more! He takes his time, and draws from his many years of experience to make your experience the best you've ever had! Men, women, kids, he has all the expertise needed to make them all happy, whether it's a new look, or the same look as always, make an appointment, go see him, and be happy, like me!!!

David Jack is professional and positive. David has a good code of cleanliness and fair pricing. Always in a good mood and I love my hair. I have been going to David for 1 year.

Don't go to David Jack unless you want to leave his salon in tears, which is what I did two days ago. I found David online when I moved here 7 months ago. I have been going to him about every 5 weeks. At the first appointment, I showed him a picture of a "chunky layered bob" that I wanted my hair to look like. My hair was short and layered and so it needed to grow out. After 7 months of just little trims on my hair to get the look I wanted, all the layers had grown out and my hair was chin length. I arrived at my appointment this past Thursday so excited to finally get the look I had been wanting for months. David and I looked at the picture once again before he starting cutting. Then I don't know what happened. It seemed like he just kept cutting and texturizing and layering but I trusted him. Stupid me. When he stopped cutting and blew my hair dry, the sides were completely uneven and lopsided. The left side was short and extremely layered, just barely covering my ear, and the right side was considerably longer and fuller. When I brought this to David's attention, he actually disagreed with me and said it was this way because of the way he had dried it. He finally said he "saw it" and proceeded to make the right side match the left side. His whole attitude at this point was very offensive to me in that he seemed offended and put off that I would question his hair cutting prowess. When he finished his butchering, my hair was just barely covering my ears and layered all over. Now I have a "little old lady haircut" that looks stupid and not at all attractive. I tried to pay him (why I don't know, I think I was in shock) but he wouldn't let me, which was the right thing for him to do. He didn't offer any apology or explanation or show any remorse for the damage he had done. From the first conversation I had with David, he made a point of telling me that he had worked for a couple of big name companies as a hair instructor and how great he was. David has a huge ego and clearly can not accept criticism or the fact that he might sometimes make a mistake. Well, he certainly made a mistake with me. Don't go to this guy. I certainly wish I hadn't.

And folks, so you know, I reached out to David twice via text after my appointment hoping for some kind of response from him and I heard nothing. Only now, after I have given him a bad review he asks for forgiveness. That speaks volumes, doesn’t it?
