Flake Bakery and Larder

I just drove 2 hours and over 100 miles to try this bakery that I’ve heard good things about. This was well worth the trip. These cinnamon rolls are delicious.

This place is very easy to find, the food is fantastic. The atmosphere is calm and relaxing. I love the decor very cute. Everyone was so nice. Honestly the best bagel I have ever had along with the cream cheese. I highly highly recommend coming here. I’m more than happy to spend my money here and support this business.

The cutest bakery in town the nicest people and the ambiance and decor is just so quaint. Everything I bought was SO yummy, you can tell it’s made with the best ingredients. Can not wait to return for more goodies.

Flake is an absolute must-stop when in the area. The quality, care, and love that is put into every single item makes this business just OUTSTANDING. The baker is European-trained and you are not going to find this mix of homey Texan hospitality and exceptional level of pastries and baked goods anywhere. The charm, kindness, and warmth from the owners will have you coming back again and again. This is the kind of business that you wish every small town had. (Do NOT miss the pie. . whatever flavor/type/filling, you will not regret it, and will make you wish you had ordered a whole one to take home!)

I arrived too late to order anything today. They were actually closed but ran to the door to let me in anyway. What a sweet & welcoming couple! I will have to go early next Saturday to buy some of their goodies. I can’t wait! Yum….❤🌺🌴

I purchased an apple pie a few weeks ago and also ordered a pecan pie for thanksgiving and both were OUTSTANDING!! If you have not been yet and looking for excellent baked goods, this is the place. Yes, only open on Saturdays but worth the wait. Really cute spot as well to enjoy your baked goods.

My happy place. Everything here is meticulously made and absolutely delicious! I can't get enough of the scones, love all the different flavors; the cookies, pies, breads are all pure goodness. The space is cozy and clean, simply gorgeous. And to top it all off, the owners are as sweet as can be!

The best cookie I’ve ever had (Brown Butter chocolate cookie)! The maple pecan scone was perfection! Everything had just the right sweetness too it. The atmosphere was adorable, yet classy. It’s a must stop on Saturday mornings. I can’t wait till they are open more!

Just got a pie for the holidays and let me say, wow. Incredible filling, so soft and light, and the crust was amazing too. Never turn down a Flake special bake!
