Had lunch here with a friend and we both got the same thing — the mini trifecta plate. It came with a fish fillet, a couple of jumbo shrimp, and a couple of oysters. Everything was fried and seasoned beautifully. The fries were spectacular. Some of the best fries I’ve had.

I ordered the chicken strip basket and my mate ordered the steak finger basket. Both came with fries, toast and gravy. The portions are generous and reasonably priced.
This is not a fast food restaurant... perfection takes time and everything was made to order.
That being said... I have been enjoying chicken tenders and steak fingers for over 5 decades, in multiple states, and have never had such flavorful food.
The flavors of each individual food was so good that I lingered over every bite before moving on to the next item.
I had a side of their hickory smoked bbq sauce but didn't need it. The gravy was piping hot and very fresh.
The steak fingers were very tender, thin but wide, not too heavily breaded, and cooked to perfection.
The sweet tea wasn't overwhelmingly sweet and could be blended if you prefer a not-as sweet tea.
The tables, counters, entry and restrooms were clean and uncluttered.
Dining room staff promptly cleared and cleaned tables without seeming to rush us, even during their busy lunch hour.
The adjacent ice cream parlor has a selection of 16 different Blue Bell flavors (including the new Dr Pepper flavor) and is filled with happiness.
Overall a very enjoyable meal. I will definitely return whenever I'm in Taylor.

I was recommended to try this place. My family and I really enjoyed the food. It has a I’ve cream store connected with a game room. Perfect to enjoy dessert and watch the kids play. It’s not a fancy new place it is what it is, a CAFE! I really enjoyed the burger with the fried onion in it. The fries are fresh and crispy. My wife ordered the mini exacta. It was like a combination platter. She loved the catfish and she didn’t even like catfish! Hush puppies are great. The ranch and Tartar sauce were really good and flavorful. The fried green tomatoes is a MUST for appetizer! You won’t be disappointed. I look forward to trying another meal here! ❤🦆

Always good atmosphere and wonderful food every time I have visited. Years go by and it is the same and I really love it. The buffalo chicken salad is my favorite. How they get toes off those catfish and fry 'em up I'll never know! Haha!

This place is great. The food was delicious and the staff was very friendly. You place your order at the counter and pay for the food. Then they call your name, and you pick up the food back at the counter. Quick and easy.

What a pretty place!? We went in there to sit down and talk with someone who lives in Taylor. I had a cup of coffee and my bf had some BLT sandwich that I didn’t get to take a picture. He said it was good. We will have to come back some other time to try their real meal. The place looks nice and unique.

Great home style menu with great chicken fried steak and juicy burgers. I recommend the Fried Veggie Sampler appetizer with fried green tomatoes, mushrooms, pickles, squash, & zucchini. Great unlimited Sweet Tea. Closes at 3 on Sundays. Friendly staff.

A wonderful kitschy place to step back in time! Lucky Duck was a great meal for us after hopping around the Sweet Eats Berry Farm in Georgetown.

We've been meaning to swing by and scope out Taylor with the growth of my husband's job building a new campus out here and the downtown vibes. The interior is gorgeous, a redone garage with great lighting to see Main Street traffic. My husband went for a veggie burger, I went for a seafood sampler basket and we shared the grilled zucchini! I highly recommend this side! It was so tender and seasoning is yum. Our toddler got the chicken tenders which came out piping hot and went for the fries. :)

Can't go wrong with these safe staples for a hungry party. After we finished our meal, the reason for stopping by was the best. The ice cream shoppe inside is staffed by the same folks on the meal side. Pick out a bluebell ice cream scoop or two in a cup or cone and enjoy your sweet treat with the little ones! Can't wait to return when we're back around!

I have been to this wonderful place 3 times. It is such a great value and the portions are awesome. I have had the Chicken fried steak twice and the Catfish basket once (comes with 4 huge pieces) and just let me say.... WOW! THE FOOD WAS EXCELLENT! It may be served on styrofoam plates, but that just allows them to keep the prices low. The salad was fresh each time and all the food was served hot and VERY FAST! Will be returning there again today for a late lunch.

Y’all. I’ve been meaning to write this review for months and kept forgetting. Absolutely do not sleep on the buffalo chicken salad. So freaking good! I’ve ordered a similar salad at other restaurants for twice the price and it’s not this good. We’ve been lots of times and tried other items, but fully recommend this salad and hope it’s always on the menu. Delicious!

We eat here about 1xmonth and do takeout. I love the 3 pc fish fillets with fries and coleslaw. Hubby gets the CFS with mashed potatoes and salad. Food never disappoints. My grandkids say they have the best fries and chicken strips.

food was fantastic, service was great! Love the music they played there. I would go back anytime. Well worth the price.

The fish basket was awesome! The fish was tender and the amount of fish and fries received was large. Will definitely go back!

Fish was delicious as were the appetizers. Highly recommend this place for anyone wanted seafood.

I just love this place they have the best hamburgers ever I had a mushroom Swiss burger today and oh my gosh it was the best you ever going through Taylor try them out.

Homemade ranch and gravy are the best! I got chicken finger plates that come with 4 pieces of chicken fingers, French fries, toast, and of course piece of toast.

We brought our extended family here after church . They moved a few tables to accommodate everyone . Family from out of town loved the food .

It's a family atmosphere with great country food. Great fried fish!

What a nice place. Food looks, smells and tastes great. 10 out of 10. Would recommend to everyone.
