We went and saw a concert here. The sound was great. And the seats in the balcony were great in terms of view.

This is a lovely old building and it's fun to go early and look at the decor and old photos etc.

One thing to note is that this is an older building. The leg room between seats was limited. If this is an issue get one in the front of the set of rows. As a larger women at 5'4" it was a little tight for me. Not so much that I didn't enjoy the concert though.

I have never seen a theater quite like the Kimo. I loved the Southwestern and Native style. It is a very intimate setting for a show. No bad seats. It is truly one of a kind.

Went to see the Pink Floyd Lazer Light show and it was really good. If you've been to Tucson, it's about the same size as the Rialto if not a smidge smaller.

There's, as far as I saw, a good amount of well placed handicap spots where your view isn't blocked by other people's heads.

They offer snacks and drinks there for like $2 which was nice. The lobby was easy to navigate and the staff was helpful.

The P.A. system also worked really nicely and wasn't too loud.

I've included some video of the Lazer light show just to show how dark it gets + how the stage looks. I was about four rows back from the stage on the left hand side, to give you a mental image of what the theater looks like.

The Kimo is one the most beautiful theaters I've ever been in. It is unique and representative of the rich cultural history of this land. The colors, the symbols, the architectural elements, all phenomenal. Love it!

The Kimo Theatre was lovely as usual. I've been coming here for over 40 years! Black Jacket Symphony presents Pink Floyd was phenomenal!

Nicest venue I know of in Albuquerque. I wish more/most people performed here. Not sure if they have a curfew but shows end as early as 930 or 1030 depending on who you see. I've been here many times, always clean, staff is friendly, seats are great and it's never been stuffy in there which is a plus. I've never purchased from concessions but their restroom was clean the one time I used it. This is a beautiful theater full of history and I look forward to events when they are at this particular place. Not overpriced either--$50 and under for anyone I've seen here which is fantastic. Long live the KIMO!

Where to go for.....cool lights, cool sights on dark nights in Duke City?
A perplexity with a propensity for disappointment... but all this resolves if you choose the Kimo...to see any of their well chosen shows...

Beautiful theater. There is a parking garage behind the theater and also a parking lot a block away. Staff is nice. A lot of security around the place. Very busy area on central.

It was a nice and cool evening, at the Burlesque show. Been a while since I had been inside of the Kimo, and it still looks amazing as ever!

We enjoyed a great performance of the Nutcracker yesterday!

I will say this theater really needs some updating. I know it was made over a hundred years ago and the seats really need an upgrade and so do the bathrooms. Our theater seats had a very worn cushions and one of the toilet seats in the women's bathroom had a big chip missing out of it. It would be nice to see the City of Albuquerque put some money into this historic performing arts establishment.

Seen The Wailin' Jennys here. Good sound and small enough for a more intimate feel. Great place, I will be back.

The acoustics are lovely and the interior is beautiful (if you love art deco). There really isn't a bad, bad seat in the house.

Absolutely awesome venue. We saw Jenny Lewis and I'd happily go see many more shows here. The decor is stunning and very much unlike other venues I've been. The sound quality was great and the drinks reasonably priced.
