Sunset Farm

Sunset Berry Farm is awesome! I recently visited the farm with my son on his field trip and was amazed with how good the berries were and all the things there for the kids to do. The launch pad, scavenger hunt, tractor/cow rides, strawberry picking, picnic was all so fun we didn't want to leave! Everything is decorated so fun and they also sell the cutest tshirts! ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐
*Porta Potties are very clean and there is a clean hand washing station outside.

Sunset Farms is a go to place to take your family and spend the day.
Until this Labor day weekend I wasn't aware that this little farm that was nestle back in the woods close to Alderson, WV existed. There was a advertisement for the first West Virginia Sunflower 🌻 Festival. We live a couple hrs. away . We decided to try it out and took our Granddaughter. It was something to behold. Beautiful field of Sunflowers ,live music , Butterfly release which was absolutely beautiful it was in remembrance of loved ones that had gone on before us or just someone special. Much to my surprise there were couples down next to the Sunflowers getting engaged and what was awesome there were a few professional photographfers there and caught their special moments.
There were also vendors that had beautiful handmade items for sale which I thought added a unique touch other then having a simple flea market. There were also some awesome food venders.
Now I can't leave out what was seen though the eyes of my Granddaughter. She is 3 yrs old and was wide open from the time she got out of the car. She played in the Sunflowers skipped to the petting zoo. Petted the big turtle, bunny rabbit's, goat's everything she could get her little hands on run to the big bounce tarp ran jumped called everybody her friend. All the childen played in the duck pond trying to win a toy giggling and smiling. Then She spotted a tractor pulling these metal cows white with black spots and a rope tale each one had a name Rosie was her favorite. She rode them cows over and over those kids had fun eating hot dogs 🌭 and was in a safe environment. When we left with her she wave an hollered bye to everybody. And talked about it all night long. Nobody got sleep at her house.
When you look though the eyes of children, and you write a review and bring yourself down to their level you see the innocents the joy it brings a huge smile to their face that some how grown up seem to loose. I for one am excited about next year. It can't come soon enough.

Great a experience the owners are so interactive with the customers the berry pick is a wonderful time for family's and this was the first time we was when they had the festival so many yummy food trucks to try and games and activity for the children

We went to see the Sunflowers and get pics with our kids. They were so beautiful. And the staff was so friendly. They had props out there to get some really good pictures. The woman were so friendly and inviting. Definitely recommend going.

absolutely beautiful place. a new, small place (hopefully just for now) but has incredible potential because there are so few places like this in southern WV. and PLEASE bring a fresh produce stand to Beckley. it has nothing except the ever popular chain stores and places that get their product outside the state. lol...and now for those peaches. growing up in Florida and driving back and forth from WV, I have stopped at ALOT of fruit and peach stands, especially in Georgia. I can tell you the these peaches would put WV on the map as a peach state. Never had peaches as sweet and juicy as these. STUNNING and you need to also be the states official best peaches. Last thing...I hope those who head to your farm appreciate the beautiful sites along the way. It may take a few extra minutes but that's ok....it WV and your place is worth the drive.

The best lil 🍓 farm around great people so polite and just as friendly as they could be you can pick your own or buy already picked they Also had homemade blackberry. Syrup and blackberry jam can't wait for more events peaches and corn will be worth picking soon and all enjoyed just the beauty there ty for the 100 dollars I won from hoot history of our town very interesting 🍓 and 🦁 went great together ty again all

Our family attended the Spring Festival / Easter Egg Hunt and had a wonderful time! Organized and everyone was friendly. We will go back for more events in the future.

My family and I love this place! If you are ever looking for a family friendly place check this place out. We picked strawberries, had a birthday party for my daughter with the jump pad, did an Easter egg hunt and got some fresh vegetables all at a great price. Love this place and great, hard working and caring owners.

The inaugural WV Sunflower Festival was so much fun. Great food, cool peeps, loved the arts &crafts(wish there were more)! Enjoyed listening to the music, and seeing folks enjoy friends, family & fellowship

Fun. But very expensive. 5 bucks each child to go into the enchanted forest. We had 5 kids so we passed on that. $25.00 for a bucket of pick your own strawberries. 8 bucks a pint pre picked. Strawberries were best I ever had. I'm 57 so that's saying a lot. Lol and it's super beautiful up there.

The strawberry tastes so great. Worth going there with my little kid.

Sunset Berry Farm and Produce has the best strawberries and corn I have ever bought! Purchasing a CSA from them was the best decision I made in 2016 as far as food buying goes. Everything we received was fresh and delicious! The variety of products was also amazing. We received just about every type of fruit and vegetable imaginable. We hope to continue a long relationship with this farm!

Amazingly beautiful flowers and fruits, we had a wonderful time with our family there. The owners are amazingly friendly as well, we will return again to get more fruit and see that sunflower fields

I have throughly enjoyed my experience with this wonderful farm and it's proprietors. The fruits and Vegetables are of the highest quality and variety. New recipes and treats from local growers are included frequently. GIVE them a try you won't be disappointed!♡

I had a great experience with Sunset Berry Farms. Jennifer is great to work with. Although I feel like I wasted a lot of food by not coooking in timely fashion. I do have jam and beets in my freezer and green beans and pickles canned from the bounty. I learned I liked butternut and spaghetti squash, and learned how to cook it from recipes included in our packages. I am looking forward to next years crop.

Egg hunt was amazing worth the drive. Jump pad may have been the star of the show. We can't wait to go back and pick strawberries.
