Shonet's Country Café

Stopped in while heading back home and we are glad we did. I had the hamburger and my wife had the fish and chips. It was one of the best burgers I have had in a long time, and the fish was amazing. Our waitress was very friendly. We will definitely be going back.

We were in town for a basketball tournament and wanted to eat at a local place. We found Shonet's Country Cafe and glad we did. We got the hotdogs and open face turkey sandwich and it was great. The hotdogs and bun were awesome and would come back again just for them. Also had a piece of peanut butter pie and it was great. I would highly recommend to eat there!

The food was amazing. I had no idea this place was so good. I ordered the fried steak, apples, and corn. All outstanding. Definitely going back.

After 2 days on the road eating service station coffee and junk food, we really needed to refuel with a quality homemade meal.
The food was delicious and the service was awesome.

This place is adorable, and the folks there are so friendly! The service was fast and efficient. Our meal was absolutely delicious and surprisingly affordable. If I could give 10 stars I would, and we will definitely be back.

First time here. It was recommended by 2 people from the area. The first thing right off the bat was our waitress. She was great. They were crazy busy, but she made sure I didn't feel rushed when deciding on my meal. I ordered the soup and salad bar, and my husband ordered the chicken fried steak with fried potatoes and mac & cheese. He loved his meal. All of it. He said that was the best potatoes and meal he has had at a restaurant in a long time. We live an hour and a half away, but he wants to go back and said he would order the same thing but with double the potatoes. We were very happy with everything and the prices are good. This is a definite place to go to if you are in that area.

Been there a number of times and can't get past the Fish & Chips! Actually, we've had several different dishes and are always very satisfied. But the Fish & Chips are top notch. Thanks!

I am a regular at Shonets. They make some of the best food and desserts I've ever eaten. Almost like momma used to make. From the owners down to the dishwashers. There all polite and friendly. And my waitress Marie Baker is absolutely wonderful. Always looking out for us. Quick with drinks and always wearing a smile.

Me and parents been there three times this week. Love there food. They got that down home southern/ Appalachian food and service. The staff treat you like family here and there food is so good.

I was in on Monday and it was so good, I returned on Tuesday for dinner ! Fantastic cooks! And even better service. Homemade food and eccentric atmosphere.

One of the best places to eat at in Milton food is great and service is amazing. If you request Hannah your cup will never be empty very friendly and nice to talk to

First time being at this little cafe and it was really nice. The service wasn't really fast but the atmosphere was good and I really didn't mind the service being a little slower. The biggest problem I had was when I was getting ready to leave and had to stand at the cash register where you pay before you go out the door for about 10 minutes before somebody came and took my money. The actual food service was a little slow but very nice so overall if I had to rank this place on a 1 to 10 I'd give a solid 8 or 9

Excellent food! Friendly service! My girls and I ended up here for lunch on a Saturday. They were busy but we still got a table right away. I had the steak sirloin hoagie. The meat was so flavorful and tender. The fries were amazing. My oldest daughter really liked the blt and my youngest had a cheeseburger the size of her head. They both really liked their food.

Absolutely excellent country cooking. Big portions. Well prepared, and very affordable too. Atmosphere is great, clean, and the staff is great.

Everything is very good. Just like homemade food we all grew up eating. Love this place. Breakfast here is exceptional. Can’t beat it in my opinion.

Great little cafe/restaurant. Reminds me of a mom n pop place. Lasagna had a little spice to it, we think it was the meat in it. It was good but wished it had more pasta to it. The open faced turkey was to die for. We both loved it. Great gravy, perfect bread and the dressing was a nice addition. The turkey was not dry at all and I don't like white meat, but it was really good. Will definitely be back during our stay. Can't wait to try their breakfast!

Exceptional local establishment. Resturant is clean and well maintained. Salad bar has standard salad fixins and several other side choices like pasta salads that change. I tried a pea salad that was delicious. All fresh. Daily soups. My favorites are broccoli and cheese and potato. Wait staff friendly. Food is homemade and tasty. Check busy hours. You might have to wait for a table or booth.

Such tasty home cooked food. Wonderful service. They have many great items. The Mac and cheese was delicious. Stuffing was so moist and made uniquely. We had a wonderful server named Marie, she is so attentive. She treats us like family and keeps our drinks filled. I will definitely be back. The salad bar was well stocked and had many great homemade choices. My country fried steak melted in my mouth. The pies are very tasty too.
