Forest Orthodontics and Pediatric Dentistry

My kids have been patients of the Lake Forest office for a couple years now. We were in the market for a dentist & we have many friends whose children are also patients. Our first visit was a little rocky as my 4 year old did not have the best experience (kicking & screaming the ENTIRE VISIT due to his fear of doctor's offices), despite the best efforts of the staff (ARVIE!). My 2 year old on the other had, had a PLEASANT experience & said he has a couldn't wait to come back. I felt AWFUL after that visit, but everyone was so kind & understanding about it. Every visit since then has been SO pleasant & the kids feel VERY comfortable seeing all the doctors. It is apparent that both Dr. Bocks keep their standards high for their offices.
A few things I love about FOPD:

- The staff is professional, knowledgable & are very accommodating
- The doctors are very thorough; we don’t mind seeing whoever is available
- The design & layout of the office was thoughtfully planned & executed well; kid friendly with an overall modern & clean aesthetic
- The atmosphere is warm & inviting for kids; tablets & tvs for distraction
- Reward of the claw machine or treasure box after visit
- Involved with the community
- They have an ice cream truck!
- Refreshment area
- Their social media presence
- We especially love our dental hygienist, Arvie, who has really made our visits enjoyable & easy peasy for the ME & kids :)
- MOST IMPORTANT: That my kids find going to the dentist as a POSITIVE experience & don’t mind the visit

V is an amazing person and asset to this business. She is very personable, & sweet. When I first got my braces I hated going to the office because I was always scared but V was always so gentle and patient with me and would explain what shes doing and what everything was for. I knew I was in good hands with her and she made me much more comfortable. Thank you guys for giving me the smile I wanted!

FOPD has cared for both my children. The whole office celebrated my daughter when she got her braces off. They are patient with both of my children and let them take short breaks during visits as needed. They are willing to work with my children in a way that makes them feel most comfortable while still doing what’s best to care for their teeth! You’re hard work doesn’t go unnoticed!

First off the office is so warm and welcoming! My daughter instantly was comfortable for her first visit to the dentist. It does not feel like a cold, scary dental office. Everyone is so friendly and helped her stay calm. She does not let us look at her teeth but was an amazing patient and let them look at everything. She was reassured by how they showed her the tools they were going to use and what it would feel like. She left a happy camper with her treasure box slinky! I’m so thankful for my friend recommending Forest pediatric dental! They also work with my insurance seamlessly.

I can not say enough great stuff about this place! Since my grandsons last experience at another dental office I was worried. But the Hygenist Kelli was so patient and friendly my grandson actually sat still long enough to get a cleaning (he’s 4). And the dentist Dr Shah was amazing as well. Explained everything to me and would show me what she was talking about. If you have a young child definitely take them here! Wonderful staff from the receptionist , to the check out girls, and everyone who passed us in the halls smiling and saying hello. The lobby is beautiful and my grandson loved the grab machine after his visit.

We have been taking our son here for years. He recently finished his braces treatment and we were very pleased with the results. The staff are very professional and always answered any questions that I had with great detail.

As someone who just moved to the area, I was super hesitant to be stepping into a new Orthodontics office. If you're considering visiting this office, I can assure you it's the right choice. Kaylee and Dr. Bock were fantastic, helpful, and very friendly. I was most impressed by my interaction with Jose, their Orthodontic Treatment Coordinator. He was very detailed and caring, and displayed a genuine willingness to help. He was very knowledgeable and went above and beyond to assist me. 11/10.

Took my 5 year old here when we needed a pediatric dentist. The place blew me away. Not only are there numerous workers but everyone was so friendly, helpful, and patient. They took great care of my child and made her feel as comfortable as possible. Thanks again!

Great first time experience for our children! Somehow this office has my children thinking the dentist is 'fun' place to go, haha. As a parent, I'll take it!

Christine is super friendly and knows just what to say to make these little patients comfortable, in what can be an overwhelming environment for little kids. Dr. Anokhi was professional, and a pleasure to deal with.

We're partial to the forest theme they have going-on in the office, and their use of the latest technologies in-office. This practice is warm, friendly, and fun and it's no wonder why they're so highly reviewed.

Dr. Shiloh was extremely thorough and fixed the issues I was having prior to starting Invisalign. I received excellent care at every appointment, and I love my results! Highly recommended!

You don’t know your dental office sucks until you come here! It was such an amazing experience! The way they explained things to my son in a way he would understand and not be scared and how everyone was so helpful and welcoming was just so amazing! I’m so grateful for a place like this to exist for our kids! 10/10 would recommend! Thank you to Nina for going above and beyond and giving us snacks while we waited and Ruby for putting on a movie for us!

We were referred to this place and have never looked back! We have referred everyone we know to Forest Orthodontics and Pediatric Dentistry. This place is definitely the place to take your kids. Never have my kids been so excited to go to the dentist. The staff is extremely friendly, talk to the children as people and explain the entire process to them in a way that makes sense. They’re very upfront with all costs and procedures. I’ve never had a surprise with them. Our oldest has visited the dentist and orthodontic side. Had her braces for a year and got them removed today. She was excited about the whole process and staff made it such a wonderful experience. Our family loves Forest Orthodontics and Pediatric Dentistry!

All I can say is that I have never experienced such an amazing Orthodontics. My children absolutely love coming here and it really helps that the staff here are great with the kids. No other place, in my opinion, has compared. Any worries I use to have about bringing my kids to the dentist have almost vanished. Definitely recommend.

I am so grateful and thankful we found this dentist and orthodontist office. The staff is kind, patient and understanding to the kids and their anxiety. I have never seen such a professional and friendly staff. My kids come in regularly and we have only had exceptional experiences. My son can be a little dramatic and a bit difficult and the orthodontic team is excellent with him. If anyone is having a bad day, you would never know. They offered a temporary fix to a cavity for my young daughter to give her some time to mature before a bigger procedure. I have absolutely nothing negative to say. A beautiful, clean and welcoming facility. Don’t hesitate, they should be your number one choice.

Forest Orthodontics & Pediatric Dentistry is beyond amazing! The place is super clean and the people around are so warm and friendly. I am so grateful we have Fatima Retana to handle my son who need special time and understanding with his anxiety with any dental procedure. She was so good in giving him space and letting him do his preference instead of pushing my 6 year old to do what really needs to be done. The Xray was too much for him because of his severe gagging reflex but she made it possible just by her soothing voice to reassure him and giving him space from time to time. That alone could have cost us a lot if I opted for an anesthetic agent to help my son with his anxiety since it’ll be an out of pocket cost. Fatima is indeed our angel in disguise! She is a great worker. Her empathy, kindness and compassion is a gift to her patients and others. Dr Shah is so nice too. She’s warm and so compassionate to her patients. Now, my son is looking forward to do his next dental appointment and future procedure. The whole experience could have turned to be the worst and traumatic experience for all of us but it came out great, enjoyable and safe.. So thankful!

I have been going to Forest Orthodontics & Pediatric Dentistry for the past 15 years with all three of my kids for dentistry and for orthodontics. This place is fantastic. The doctors are the best and so is the staff. You can’t find a more welcoming, friendly, positive and fun place for your kids. They care so much about their patients and they are top notch, first class in everything. The office is so modern with the best environment. They get an A plus from my family and I and a rating of 10 out of 10. We give the absolute strongest and highest recommendation possible. Everyone who has kids should go here and the orthodontics team takes adults also.

Our experience at Forest Orthodontics was amazing. Dr Derrick and Patty Rios went above and beyond when it came to removing my sons braces. They made sure my son was ok at all times during the process making him feel very comfortable. We are very happy with the results and he definitely loves to show his smile.
