We pulled up and the exterior had nothing special really to grab your eye but we decided to give it a try. Wow! Are we glad we did. Very very friendly and courteous staff. Excellent food. Every dish we saw brought to other tables looked amazing. I ordered the chicken stir fry....it was great! A HUGE plate full and it was absolutely delicious. I couldn't eat it all, and I tried!! Go give this little mom and pop place try. Be aware....they only had 1 bathroom at the time of our visit due to a remodeling, but they installed a lock on the door so it's private.

Our first visit to this diner even though we have driven by many times. Now we wish we had not waited. The salad bar was fresh and tasty. The liver and onions were tender and delicious. My husband said his peek chops were good. We will definitely be trying other menu items in the future. Great service!

Oh my goodness this place! Every time I come here I have a delicious meal. Dining room is always clean. The staff is always friendly. I highly recommend their soups. Chicken Rosemary & Beef Barley are my favorites. Also conveniently close to the interstate. Plenty of parking. Also has patio dining available (for nice weather).

I felt very important there. The waitress said pick wherever you want to sit and I will follow you! What lifetime have you ever heard those words? Waitress was very attentive..Food was great!

Prices were great! There was alot of food too. I am putting this one on top of my list and I have a fairly large list! Thank you so much for the wonderful experience today! You rock!!

The servers here are amazing! They are always fast and eager to help you with what you need. The food is top notch. There is a mix of almost anything you could want on the menu. Every soup I have tried there is good. They also have all you can eat walleye on friday nights that is the best I've ever had! Keep up the good work!

Our waitress was very nice and attentive. It had a very classic diner feel to it, just chatter and silverware clinking. It was clean, the food was great. Their chicken vegetable was just like the soup my nanny used to make, we bought a quart to take home with us. It wasnt very expensive, well worth it. My only disappointment was the bartender didnt get there til 4pm and I was hoping to have a daydrink (it's been a rough week) we will definitely be going back

Took 2 picky kids and they ate almost all their food but got full because it was so much. I had the fried chicken and my fiance had the cat fish sandwich both were really good. The service was amazing!

Got our food super quick. The pancakes were really good but the omlette was by far the best part. Would definitely recommend stopping in. We were driving through on our way home and we are definitely glad to have found this place!

I grew up in Chicago, where Greek owned family restaurants are ubiquitous. I've missed them since moving to Southern Illinois. They serve a little of everything and do it all well. This is the closest I've found since moving south. Chicago transplants make the drive to Salem, you won't be sorry. And by the way, the minute I saw the building I was sure it was a Chicago style Greek restaurant. So glad we stopped

We stopped on our way home from a short vacation in St. Louis. Such a pleasant place! Great food. Great service! Such great people! Highly recommend that if you get the chance to eat here, you certainly should!

Awesome waitress! Great food. Our family was made to feel very special. Grandson had a loose tooth that came out and the waitress gave him $2.00. Loved it!

Ate at bar in back lounge. VERY good! Fresh ingredients really stood out. Good size portion! I'm 6'8' and know how to eat :) Great Lasagna!

Went there as a big group from out of town and had a really great breakfast. Great food and prices and a fantastic environment. Highly recommend this place if in the area!

I love to go here and eat, they have real good food, dinner and breakfast and they have excellent service, with very friendly people. The only thing I don't like is having breakfast here on Sundays because every time I've come here there was a long wait sometimes out the door it was that busy.
