LOVE. Get the membership, it'll be worth it in a few visits. Otherwise, just roam around and visit with nature. So beautiful and fun for the kiddos in the summer. Always clean, staff is always friendly and helpful.

Amazing park for both walking and biking. Plenty of different trail options based on how far you want to go. Many completely paved options as well as some gravel/dirt paths through the woods. There is a foot bridge you can take to get across the road to “the meadow” side. We did 6 miles on the bikes and barely scratched the surface of what is available. We will definitely be going back for more!

Millennium Park- divided into halves east and west of Maynard Road- is one of the most expansive urban parks and greenway networks in the country.

It's a great place to enjoy each of Michigan's for distinct seasons; winter offers sledding, snowshoeing, and XC skiing. Spring brings migratory birding and flower blooms gives way to a summer of fishing, kayaking, or mountain biking, cycling, running and walking its dozens of miles of trails. Come fall, the colorful leaves of predominantly maple, birch, and poplar forests creates a photogenic backdrop for sunsets and wildlife.

Go see it for yourself!

It's been years since visiting Millenium park, but I'm very glad we went. We biked between 5 and 10 miles, and enjoyed the scenery, terrain and the size of the park. We plan to bike there again when the leaves start changing colors.

Great place to get out and spend some time in the sunshine. Many paved trails as well as unpaved trails for you and / or your furry friends to enjoy the great outdoors. Lots of water for them to swim and play in as well. There's also a bald eagle nest you can see from one of the main trails. Just remember the fish and wildlife service requires you to stay at least 330 feet from any active nest. Lots of wildlife and place to roam alone. Excellent views and runs alongside the grand river.

I came here for the first time not so long ago. The pictures don't do the park justice. Beautiful scenery, and trails offer beautiful views as well. I would recommend this park to all looking for fun trails to visit or exercise on.

Came here on a Saturday afternoon with a 3 and 5 year old and it was a great experience. Playgrounds near the parking lot are free and then an entrance fee for the beach and splash pad area. The fee was completely worth it, the beach is well maintained, the sand is soft, not many rocks. It wasn't even very crowded. You can rent flotation devices, bring in coolers (no alcohol), and the bathrooms are large, clean, and offer large shower stalls. You can also purchase food for a reasonable price, including items like: snow cones, pizza by the slice, bratwurst, and pretzels. You can also rent paddle boats, etc. The splash pad had freezing cold water but the kids loved it, very spacious and lots of space for adults to stand/sit. The pavilions are rentable and would be perfect for any party.
Overall: 5/5 and makes for a memorable and fun experience.

Awesome place for water activities like paddle boating, kayaking, etc in affordable prices. Beach area with splash pad for kids. Parks and gardens too. Trails overlooking the lake are must try. Can spend 4-5 hours here. Close to the city and busier on weekends. Ample parking.

Multiple free playgrounds, all in great shape, and made for several different age groups.

In the paid area, there's a nice beach, that's clean and well maintained. There's also a very impressive splash pad.

Lots of fun to be had here for the kids.

Visited this place during a business trip to relax and enjoy nature. Place is well cleaned and it’s pretty big. I didn’t explore the “beach” area as my interest was to get just away from the city. Lakes seems full of fish and life, so many water activities to do…. Most of the trails or paths I walked on where blacktop which is nice for anyone cycling, wheelchairs or strollers. Here’s some pics from the place

Beautiful park with a great jungle gym for the kids. It is right on the water but the jungle gym is mostly fenced in so you don't have to worry about the kids getting too close to the water.

Beautiful loooong walk through this park. Great beach and easy access/clean public restrooms. Some stretches of the walk have no trash cans. On the other hand, very clean and well maintained, no litter in sight. Maybe more bins come summer time. 10/10 stop by if in GR area

One of my favorite parks! I take my Son all the time, beach is nice but costs $10 a person-so I bought a season pass. Nice facilities, splash pad, boat and kayak rental, nice covered large gazebos with grills and water spigots, and a very nice playground with lake boardwalk (free access). There are several small ponds with boardwalk dock fishing areas as well. Very near Grand Rapids

This is a really nice park. Many trails, lots of wildlife, great landscape and some beautiful water. There are several places to fish on both Lake Leota and Millennium Park Lake with a boardwalk in the park just for fishing. During my time here I saw a few park officials as well as a police officer regularly patrolling the area. I HIGHLY recommend checking this place out. Bring some snacks, a bike, camera and a fishing pole and get lost in Michigan's beautiful nature.

Tucked away in the wooded hills of south Grand Rapids is a fun filled oasis offering a leisurely escape from the summer heat. This hidden gem offers you the comforts of a Michigan beach without the long drive to the coasts of the Great Lakes.

The water is clean, parking is free, and affordable concessions are available on site. The waterfront is large enough to accommodate paddle boats and canoes, which are available for rental right from the beach. There are multiple playgrounds and a splash park for the kids to enjoy, and for the adults there are many trails and peaceful piers for fishing or short walks. Millennium park also offers shaded pavilions complete with charcoal grills and picnic tables available for reservations.

Access to the park is free, but beach and splash pad access is $4 for a day pass, or $60 for an annual family pass. There are other packages available including a special package for seniors.
There is a constant police presence at the park for safety and emergency purposes, however there is no lifeguard on duty.

Whether you are looking for a cheap date idea or your next family adventure, Millennium Park will not disappoint!
