Mancelona Family Practice

Wesley is the best! My kids love him the desk ladies and the nurses (especially Emily). My 4 year old has been struggling with a few different issues the last couple years. I feel like Wesley is one of the only doctors I've taken my kids to that actually listens to me, and really cares. He's found the underlying reasons for his issues, when other doctors just treated us like another patient. Previous doctors I've waited 30 minutes in the wait room, another 20 when they take us back. Just to sit with the doctor for a couple minutes and they send us home, with no answers or "slap a bandaid on the issues" . So 5 stars from this mama! Thank you Mancelona Family Practice !

Best family practice around. My son has been having issues with his nasal passages, allergies etc. and they have been so informative with everything about allergies, sinuses, and treatment options. I would definitely recommend them . Both doctors have listened to me & understood all of my concerns & plus my 4 yr old loves them all, every one of them have been so kind to him from the receptionist, the nurses ,& the doctors, so he never gets nervous walking in there for whatever the reason. They talk to him and listen intently. We always leave happy. Thank you mancelona family!!!

The nurses are super nice and the kids love Dr. Brown. And the front desk staff is always very helpful and tries to work us in as fast and best as they can..5 stars to the whole crew they are all very nice and helpful thanks for all your hard work to the whole staff❤

The Drs and staff at MFP are top notch! The staff is very helpful and caring, they go the extra mile to see that their patients are well cared for, and get whatever help they need!

I’ve been coming to MFP for over 20 years. During most of that time I’ve worked down state but maintained my PCP in Mancelona. I trust their great care and professional.

I HAVE ALWAYS BEEN Happy with the care i receive@Mancelona family practice and i have been going there many years, not only the Doctors but the rest of the staff are helpful and do what needs to be done..Billing always correct other services are all Great, physical therapy, blood tests and x ray great

Not very clean in the room. You can tell certain things don’t get cleaned that need cleaned.

Think it's time to fire Dr. Brown and Mancelona clinic. 10-13-22 , still required to wear masks but office staff don't have to. Woman stated their 6feet away from patients and wide open glass barrier 🚧 is reason they DON'T have to wear masks. If employees don't lead by example then I question why patients are required to. A sneeze or cough can travel from 10 to 20 feet vertically . Something wrong with that picture .
I'm requesting Dr. Brown to contact me at his earliest to discuss this double standard.
Like I said , LEAD BY EXAMPLE.

I called to make an appointment because I believe I have strep. I've never been there before and was told that in order to make an appointment, I would have to agree to allow them to check my background to find out if I'd ever been, or was currently prescribed opioids because of the "opioid crisis". Really??? I didn't ask to have the doctor prescribe opioids, but was told it's their "policy". I find this to be ridiculous. I think these doctors have forgotten that they get paid to provide a service - they're not doing patients favors. And to refuse to treat someone because they have been prescribed opioids by another doctor is ludicrous. This "opioid crisis" is really getting outrageous. Not only are chronic pain sufferers who use opioid medications responsibly being penalized because of drug abusers, but now offices like this one are treating everyone with suspicion! I'll be taking my business elsewhere.

Suspects that I have torn ligaments in my knee. Doesn’t give me a brace. Makes me walk out of the building. Won’t even give me ibuprofen or Motrin for the pain I have in my knee that he tells me I need surgery to fix. Then they schedules PT A month out and that’s just to see if I can do it before surgery 🤦🏼‍♂ Bruh

Will not accept new patients who also go to pain management clinic
