Richland Community Library

This is a great village library with access to other libraries across the state. Staff is friendly and helpful. Our Family History group meets there every month

Truly beneficial to the Richland community, the Richland Community Library was organized in 1880 as the community ladies library. Through funding, they had this neoclassical building constructed in 1910, where it passed through different hands until becoming a library once again in the 1980s. Our experience here was positive, with the help of the incredible ladies who work here. The library was far bigger than I would have imagined for a smaller village such as Richland. Downstairs is the children's part, as well as a local history room and a patio to enjoy reading that perfect story outside. Upstairs is the teen and adult part, public computers, and even some books to own through donation. It's well worth stopping in, who knows what story you may uncover!

I like books on CD and there are many to pick from. New titles are added frequently. There's an almost infinite selection of audiobooks using Hoopla and Libby. I've been able to find books here on almost any subject. I can order books that are not in the library's collection using the loan system. The staff here is very helpful and pleasant. I love my library!

One of my favorite places! People are always friendly and helpful. During these trying times they are doing everything possible to keep everybody safe. Simply the best!
