Great little place right off the main road in Gray Maine. We stopped there for lunch and I had the fried haddock and calamari plate with onion rings, pickles, and tartar sauce, as well as a local beer. My friend had the fried clams with onion rings. Service was quick and we very much enjoyed our food. There’s also a place in the same building and ran by the same people where you can buy fresh seafood, lobsters steamed or live, lobster meat, haddock, and several other locally sourced fish. We plan to be back in the very near future either to dine in or for takeout.

Probably one of the best spots to go to for a lobster roll and fries. We weren’t planning on visiting but we decided to stop in before we went to the wildlife refuge nearby. We were happy we did! Visited twice during our trip to Maine. Highly recommend.

During a drive from Boston to Arcadia, my group was hankering for fresh seafood from a no thrills restaurant. Fishermen's Net was the PERFECT choice! The restaurant looks more like a community center than a restaurant, and I knew immediately this was going to be an authentic experience. The patrons are all locals. This is not a tourist trap. This is just a simple restaurant to get great and local seafood at a very reasonable cost. I would highly make a visit to this place if you're looking for seafood in a casual setting. Note: they also have an entire section dedicated to takeout, and although I didn't purchase anything, everything looked great!

Best place for seafood in the greater Portland area! Exceptional food with big portions at very very reasonable prices. In addition to the dining menu they also have a great fish market as well as a good beverage selection with a variety of beer and wine. Service is always impeccable and the owners are incredibly friendly.I can’t recommend this place enough!

We just happened on this place when searching for restaurants near us in Maine as we are road tripping through ... and I'm so glad we did! We are from KS and we're hoping to have a few good New England seafood eating experiences, and Fisherman's Net was exactly that! We each had a chowder and then he had fried Oysters and I had a crab roll. Delicious!!

Just a Little Seafood market/Restaurant it's perfect for what it is.... The seafood here is simple fresh and outstanding.... The fried seafood has just a fine coating of flour... All it needs... No gritty corn meal!! Scallops, lobster calamari all fresh and not over cooked....
Prices are good so are the portions ..

If you want fresh seafood made the way it should be stop over

Employees are so friendly and the food was amazing! Definitely get the lobster roll, and if you love a variety of seafood, the seafood chowder was great.

Top notch lobster roll. One of the best I've had in Maine. The seafood chowder was generous and fresh, but the lobster roll is seriously sublime. Don't miss out on this gem, worth any trip.

Ordered Haddock and fries for takeout today. Customer service knew what they offered, and made sure I got exactly what I was looking for. Great portion and fair price not to mention the fish was delicious. Next time I'll try the onion rings. I've lived in Gray a year now, I wish I visited sooner but I'll be back regularly. Nice market also and canned sodas and other beverages available was a nice surprise. Great overall. Nice job!

It was a little confusing that to eat inside you were supposed to go directly to the dining room and have table service. I was expecting a place like this to be fully counter service and you can order counter service right when you enter. That said once we figured out where we were supposed to be the food was amazing!!!! You can pick exactly how you want your lobster roll prepared (immediately a good sign) and the price was extremely reasonable. There was a ton of lobster. The homemade chips were also good. I would absolutely stop here again, the food and value was definitely above average for a seafood place.

Lobster roll was excellent. Did the blueberry habanero and give it a really good taste. Fish was also delicious.

My son and I went for lunch today, and loved every minute. It's a seafood market and restaurant with a few tables and chairs. I ordered a crab roll which was a large buttered toasted roll stuffed with big chunks of crab and a bit of mayo for a very reasonable price. My son got the classic lobster roll and the calamari . The lobster roll, like the crab roll, was stuffed with lovely chunks of lobster with just a tiny bit of mayo. He also enjoyed the fried calamari. The wait person was a very nice young woman who answered all of our questions. I wish I lived nearer!

Stopped in a for a bite after going to the Maine Wildlife Park. Food was amazing. Possibly one of the best lobster rolls I’ve had in New England.

First and foremost this is a locals place. It's not on the water or anywhere near the water. It's not meant for tourists, it's meant for locals. They are open year-round. They are predominantly a seafood market on one side and an informal restaurant on the other. The restaurant features hard metal chairs and the kind of folding tables that you see at a flea market. Not a problem because that's not the point. The food is what matters here and everything we had was delicious. The fried clams were great with crumbs, the Steamers were delicious, lobster dinner was great and the seafood chowder was also very good. The servers we encountered were very nice and eager to help. Go here for the food and the fair pricing and ignore the ambience.

This is a small, unassuming little fish market with amazing food! The seafood is all super fresh and tastes awesome. If you're looking for good seafood in the area, this is it.
