Great food and service. It is worth the wait for the food. However, my only critique for the chef is scale back on the butter please. But it was still an amazing meal. It was evident that the staff was busting their ass. For there was only 2 servers, a bartender and it seemed that the older gentleman was the owner. He was out cleaning tables which was good to see. The staff was very attentive and friendly.The atmosphere was eclectic and unique.

We stepped in here for a cocktail so we didn't order food and sat ourselves st the bar. The staff was welcoming and the bartender created a drink for us on the spot which we loved. Love the decor in here, the wood is beautiful. We will definitely be back.

Cute little place in the heart of downtown. Patio is dog friendly and they give pooches a bowl of water along with treats. Staff is kind and keep checking on you to make sure everything is good. We had the custom pizza, spinach feta dip and the martini which were all great. Definitely a must visit while in grand rapids.

It was crowded but the place was cool. The food was so delicious, chicken risotto and the drinks too. Waitress was really nice. Kinda expensive.

Food was delicious, great appetizers and nice beer selections. Wide variety of options, a little crowded, but the large group we had all liked their food.

I haven't even gotten my food yet and this place is already awesome! The live band is playing jazz and sounds just like what I would listen to in the 80's on WLAV's Jazz Brunch on Sunday mornings! Beautiful!!

Our first time visit since I found out it was actually a dog friendly patio. Our server was great, I didnt have any food but did enjoy the margaritas which were delicious. Loved how they brought out your dog a water bowl. Will be back 100%

We were in Grand Rapids for ArtPrize and wondering the streets to view the art. We found this cute restaurant/bar and stopped in for a bite to eat and drink. Cute atmosphere, and pleasant inside. The staff was very friendly and the service was great. I am not sure how the parking is here for this place since we walked from downtown. Totally enjoyed this place.

Friendly staff and owners and delicious food. We asked the couple sitting at the bar what they had ordered and it turned out Lisa and Dan were the owners and gave us great advice as to what to order. We always order the fish here because it is flown in fresh and is top notch. My favorite salmon ever was from here. Last night we tried the dinner special which was the monkfish and it was so so good. Buttery good. Yum. The atmosphere is friendly and feels like a home away from home. We always try to sit in the bar section and enjoy the conversations and try to come for the live music as well. Plus we learned the proper way to drink Limoncello. Great night that ended with peach cobbler served in a cast iron skillet. Yum!

Excellent food prep and presentation. Tonight's whitefish might be the best I've ever had, perfectly cooked. The broccoli was nice and soft and buttery. My husband loved his steak too. We will be back!

Didn't have any food, but super nice staff, with a really cool building. We brought our dog, and the staff was so friendly - they even brought her a bowl of water and a marrow bone!! We will definitely be back to try the food, the dishes on the tables around us looked fantastic.

This place has a very unique and tasty menu. The food wasn't overpriced. The building was once a general store, turned into a bar & grill. The people there were nice & prompt.

My husband and I went to the One Trick Pony for our anniversary, and we had a wonderful time. The food was excellent, and Dan, the owner, made the evening extra memorable for us. Many thanks to him and to the staff.

Awesome neighborhood bar. Great music. Great food. Wonderful staff. Out thus spot on your bucket list. These folks get it right I am a fan...you should be a fan too..giddy up.

My Sister and I were at the Devos Place Convention Center for AQS and the Concierge suggested the One Trick Pony as a good local place to eat. Well it was more than good. The food was EXCELLENT. We hit it at happy hour "bonus" excellent $2.99 Margaritas. The wait staff was very friendly, knowledgeable, and fun. Can't wait until the next AQS we will be back.

Gluten free options are great. The staff is amazing. We talked to a couple of wait staff about the history of the building, ghost stories, etc. My new favorite place. Eat here asap.

A great place for daytime professionals! Creative minds find something wherever they go, and this place bubbles over with enthusiasm and energy - from the dishwasher to the waitstaff to the hungover patron. Very attractive setting in an unequaled atmosphere near downtown. Close to the action but not caught up in the spokes, if you will.

Great food and friendly service. We sat with our dog on the patio, they brought a water bowl and bone treat for her. Highly recommend the spicy chicken sandwich
