Excellent place all around. Ordered the guacamole and a sushi roll both on happy hour and both were excellent. Service was impeccable. Our server Shane was always in communication with us while he was in-between serving other customers. He was also extremely friendly and helped us with finding places to go around town! Great place to start out our Grand Rapids trip.

We came for lunch during the week and absolutely enjoyed our experience. The food was delicious, the server was professional and friendly, and the atmosphere was great.

We will definitely be back!

My friends and I came in on the 4th and LOVED this place. Tony was our server. He was extremely friendly, and made sure to explain some drinks (he made sure I knew that some had egg whites). One of my friends had her young son and he also made sure we knew there was a kids menu
The food was amazing and we're planning to come back for a girl's night out!

Nice vibe inside with the dark wood interior and big front windows for lots of daylight. Just popped in for burgers and a few beers so nothing fancy but it all came out great and our server Mike did a great job.

Love the food. Service is always friendly! Been here a few times and never had bad service!

This place is great but the bill will add up quickly with a couple of their fancy drinks. They are well worth it though so be sure to sample a couple. Although the food choices are limited, they have digital menus that show pictures of all of the options and I love when restaurants do this.

I have been to Rockwell's a couple of times over the years and they have always provided amazing food and delicious drinks. They are always packed though and they don't accept reservations, so plan accordingly and try to beat the rush or be prepared to wait.

Anton was AMAZING!! They had the party for my birthday and they were FUN, KIND, ATTENTIVE, AND PAID ATTENTION ☺ Couldn’t have asked for a better server for my birthday, we enjoyed having them, and the laughs t they brought to the tables as well!! PERFECT spot for brunch ❤

Went here for the first time. We were lucky enough to be there during happy hour. I got a Raspberry Margarita and Blackberry Perrin. We got sweet potato fries and the shrimp ahi roll. The food was SO good. The sushi was definitely in my top 3!! The server is extremely good at his job. Never wrote anything down, but our orders were always exactly correct. Can't wait to go back. The only slight downside is that the tables are close to each other, and the walkway is a little tight. I am very fluffy though. ☺

Excellent service. Amazing old fashioned. And the Beef Tenderloin Stroganoff was TO DIE FOR! I only wish they had the heat on more, I was very cold even with my coat on. Still, highly recommend!

The ginger chef is a great personality and skilled in the kitchen. I love the sushi and asked to pay my compliments. Very great experience and atmosphere

From events like their epic Bootlegger ball, to bourbon dinners, it's a fantastic place. The Rockwell side is a younger crowd (21-40) is something like you would see in Chicago. The complete other side, Republic, is more jazzy and better for ""Date night." They have by far the best happy hour, best bloody Mary, best Sushi, best deck, best porch (wedding receptions, graduations, company parties, birthdays, baby showers) and an upstairs that can be used for the same. Affordable lunch getting in and out fast and I just can't say enough about the food and experience. Whether you live here or are visiting, Rockwell Republic is the place to be.

Anton was awesome and very accommodating.
I had the guacamole and black bean salsa share plate. It comes with blue corn chips. It was delicious. Originally I planned to get the sticky chicken because it's the reason I go there but noticed the Thai chicken wraps on the menu. The wraps were different from others I've had. It was everything!... from the crisp lettuce, to the thick slices of juicy chicken, to the slightly spicy peanut sauce... I'm in love 💕 lol

My daughter stuck with the sticky chicken and probably will forever. It's sweet with a hint of spice and extra crunchy yet still moist chunks of breaded chicken. Served with fried rice and kimchi. 😋

The food here was amazing!! Especially the shareables/appetizers! In order of best tasting appetizers, I recommend the rangoons (best), beer cheese dip (2nd best), and poke wonton nachos (3rd best). The blue skies was a great alcoholic drink as well. And it’s so helpful that they have pictures of every food with a description of the food and what drinks pair with which foods. The waiter even gave me recommendations of where I can take pictures from Instagram.

Great atmosphere. I sat in outdoor seating on a beautiful Sunday morning for brunch. Loved the relaxing environment. Whenever the servers brought food out, it was always a spectical. The dishes look as amazing as they taste. Service was a little slow, but it was busy. I will be coming here again. (I hope I can give 5 stars next time)

The food was great. I made the mistake of not reading the ingredients of the dish I ordered. They were very understanding of my allergies and fired up new food right away.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time here, the service was so friendly and the food was delicious. The portions were generous and the drink selection is varied so I'm sure you will be able to find something to enjoy. Sushi and more traditional bar fare are available. Eat at the bar or at a table, but the atmosphere is cozy and the wood accents throughout give it a warm and inviting feel.

Food was delicious as well as drinks! Service was beyond perfection! Definitely would recommend this to anyone. Slightly pricey, but worth it. First impression was great, I hope to go back there soon!!

Devin is the absolute best server we have ever had. He was 8 tables deep but maintain timing, service and politeness. If the owners see this please keep this young man on your roster.

Everything about this place from the ambience to the customer service to the drinks to the food was superb! If your new in town and want a great experience this is definitely the spot to go to for a great time for great prices!
