Great Grounds Coffee

We found this to be a delightful place to stop for coffee and snacks on a Saturday road trip. There is a choice of light, medium, or dark roast coffee for black coffee lovers like me.

We loved the hospitality of the staff. Floy was welcoming and sharp-witted.
Her: We can make you a drink like you might find that other better known places.
Me: How about McCafe?
Her: We might have to go to the restroom for that.

Have been through multiple times now in the last few weeks and the coffee is always spot on and (perhaps more importantly) consistent! It's brewed beautifully, beans are never burned, and they definitely know their terminology and standards (I worked in a specialty coffee shop for some time myself)

I also recently tried their Great Grounds Breakfast burrito and was SO happy with how it turned out. Made my morning (admittedly I'm writing this while shoveling it in my face because I enjoy it that much).

Staff is also always incredibly friendly. Can't recommend it enough.

Amazing coffee shop! Best cinnamon roll I've ever had, and my daughter was delighted with their flavored milk. We were just passing through but I could tell the owners and staff were really connected in the community and had wonderful customer service. Totally recommend!

Had the veggie-egg-cheese breakfast sandwich on an English muffin with the breakfast sauce this morning and it was SO good. Staff was outstanding, welcoming, polite, friendly, knowledgeable and just SO nice. I got a vanilla latte to drink and that was good too. The drive thru was not super fast,.. but that was as expected with a menu of items made from fresh ingredients and stuff made once ordered.
Would definitely comeback again.

Oh my gosh! Below I did a first review . Now I have returned after about 3 weeks or so and was I impressed ! I had given a four-star and now just changed it to a five-star . The muffins that were small now were twice as big and the coffee came in three different strengths light, medium and dark . This coffee shop is perfect now with a beautiful bathroom and lots of room and quiet for those who want to do computer or read . It even has a special room if a group needs to meet together . I would definitely definitely recommend people go to this place and enjoy coffee and breakfast or muffin or their delicious cinnamon rolls.

I stopped at the coffee shop for the first time and it was so pleasant and bright and clean. There was a lot of space to sit down and relax and read or do computer work. Everyone was very pleasant but not overly friendly. The muffin I bought was very very good, but possibly for 2.50 it could have been a little bit bigger. The coffee was good. I think that anyone who goes to a coffee shop wants stronger coffee and it was pretty strong but I wouldn't have minded a little stronger. I would definitely recommend stopping there if you go by.

Great coffee and breakfast sandwiches! Loved my iced latte, perfectly blended and flavored, not too sweet. Would love to see some flavored iced teas on the menu for summer time/anytime.

Smiling friendly people. I got a wonderful cup of coffee through their drive thru and they even gave my dog a treat. Pulled around to the front and had a good breakfast burrito with nice grill marks and they didn't skimp on the cheese or good sausage. Great start to the would recommend to anyone.

The most inclusive, kind and amazing staff I have ever encountered. The entire vibe of the store is lovely and welcoming. The coffee is great and breakfast sandwiches are incredible as well.

Pleasant staff and great coffee. Some of the best coffee in the area! Their holiday special, "Miracle on 32nd Street" is perfect I just wish they were open on Sundays so I could enjoy them more frequently, as they are a bit out of my way, but I'll take what I can get.

Great coffee and even better service! Very sorry to hear it is closing. Honestly, as an outsider, the closing of Great Grounds appears to be everything that is wrong in our country today. A well run small business opens that serves a need. This business turned a corner facility which had been empty many times following stints as a bank, into a meeting place. Now a landlord, simply because he or she can, refuses to renew the lease. A blow to the community, and a warning to anyone who thinks about opening a small business in a climate where a community is nothing more than a place to extract as much wealth as possible from. Hopefully the Starbucks or Bigby that takes its place (wild guess) fails and the landlord has an empty building no one is willing to trust paying rent on.

They are a local family business that has amazing staff that will make you whatever coffee drink you feel like even if you don’t know the name. They remember their customers and are always happy and excited to be working. The blueberry scones are to die for mmmmmmm

Very professional and personable staff. Yummy carrot cake scone and frozen mocha. Lots of syrup flavors. Creative, delicious, home cooked foods. Very nice atmosphere inside the former bank.

My husband and i ordered coffee on our way to drop our kids off to school. Was the best coffee i ever tasted in my life!! ....absolutely outstanding i actually cried a few weeks ago getting coffee from big name brands on gull rd the other day because i was so frustrated not being able to ever get a coffee that is worth my money. We wont be going anywhere else ever again!!

This place is great. My wife and I are renting out in Richland for the winter while looking for a place closer to kalamazoo, and I did not expect to find such an amazing coffee place in Richland. They make very good drinks, have a great selection of Tea's, and have a surprising amount of food options. I am going to miss this place enough that I may have to make special trips up to richland just to stop by here!

Truly an incredible place. Not only is the coffee delicious!!!! It’s well priced, always tastes fresh and well brewed, and the people there are incredible. Must go. For sure!!!

Seeet place with the best coffee. Not too sweet and unique flavors. Definitely recommend over Starbucks, plus they are a small business so you can't go wrong.

Stopped this morning for the first time. I went thru the drive thru and got immideiate service. They were super friendly and they all seemed like they were happy to be there. I asked for them to make me a surprise drink , which I know is really hard to do , but I am not picky and wanted to try something new. They made me a tik tok and it was amazing!! I'll be back !

The best breakfast sandwich I have ever eaten to start. The coffee is fantastic, but i have to warn you, its highly addictive:) The service is exceptional, but don't be in hurry, perfection takes time.
