Lakeshore Bed & Breakfast

My husband and I wanted to get away for a long weekend for our anniversary by the water! We found it! Dan and Jackie were excellent hosts and the room was perfect! We had plenty of outdoor space and was very private for us! We spent time at local restaurants and the state park which rounded out our stay! Jackie had many restaurant recommendations and they were all perfect! Highly recommend!

Lakeshore Bed & Breakfast is an unbeatable location with a gorgeous view and private beach on Lake Michigan. The home is beautiful, and the presidential themed rooms are clean and unique. The B&B owners are wonderful people. They are welcoming, knowledgeable, and so caring. This is one of my favorite places in the whole world, and I will return again and again!

You will be hard pressed to find a better location on Lake Michigan. The house, the property, and the views are all amazing. Genuine presidential memorabilia is everywhere, and fascinating when you stop and read about each piece. Dan and Jackie are gracious hosts, and Teddy Roosevelt is an adorable greeter. We stayed upstairs in the Lincoln Room and it was beyond charming. The 4 poster bed was comfortable with a lovely lake view. We slept with the window open so we could listen to the waves on the beach. I highly recommend this tranquil bed and breakfast.

We stayed in the Executive suite. The place is kept immaculate. The pictures on their site don't do the room justice. Dan and Jackie are wonderful hosts; respecting your privacy, but there when you need them.
All the presidential memorabilia gave the feel of a cozy museum. Absolutely perfect location on the beach. Can't wait to return!

For a quick weekend getaway the Lakeshore was fabulous. Jackie takes painstaking effort to make sure all possible questions are answered so that you can enjoy your stay. The rooms and bed are comfortable. You may have to wait a few min. for hot water but once it arrives there is an seemingly endless supply. The grounds are well kept, the view of Lake Michigan is amazing from the Inn. Be sure to read ALL of the policies before booking so there are no misunderstandings with the reservation or stay. I highly recommend staying here and plan to do so in the future.

We stayed for a weekend just to get away and it was wonderful! We stayed in the Ford Suite and it was very clean and comfortable. The property itself is spacious enough that we rarely ran into the other guests. Jackie was also personable and helped us pick out places to go and places to eat but she also gave us plenty of privacy. It is a beautiful location with all the comforts we wanted. We highly recommend!

Lakeshore Bed and Breakfast is an incredible place to stay. The view is beautiful, the staff are wonderful, and the accommodations are great. Thank you to one of the owner's Jackie for making our stay effortless and relaxing.

An ideal location with great proximity to GVSU, Grand Haven, Holland and, for us the best - across-the-street access to a beautiful, paved bike trail. The owners are friendly, competent and keep a clean and neat home with lake beach on the property and unobstructed sunsets. We're returning soon!

Celebrated our 37th anniversary at this special romantic BB. Views and private beach are worth every cent. Owners were gracious and so hospitable. Highly recommend!

Awesome location. Right on the beach, which we had to ourselves. Restroom and shower near the beach was a bonus. Hosts could not have been nicer. Highly recommend.

We stayed in their best suite, paid a little extra and glad we did. Nice view, nice room, nice people. Will do again. Larry

The service was amazing, they treated me with a bright smile and made me feel at home!! The breakfast wasn't that bad for a hotel, though I can't say much because I only have bagels and cream cheese for breakfast. The beds were comfy, the rooms were adorable, and it was an overall great experience!

The WORST B&B in the entire state of Michigan. I have stayed in many many B&B's and by far Lakeshore b & b was the worst service, hospitality, no breakfast (just supermarket bought bagels and old cake). THE SHEETS SMELLED..Also the place had a spooky feeling. Couldn't wait until we checked out. On top of it all, the owners were rude and watched us every second we were in the house. DO NOT STAY HERE. they ask thier friends to write good reviews for them otherwise they would have no stars.

This was probably one of the worst experiences we've had at a bed and breakfast. The owners were rude and unwelcoming. We tried to say hello to them several times but they just stared and ignored us. When we tried to express our concerns to Dan, he slammed the door (literally) in our faces and ran away. Breakfast consisted of a cup of coffee and a little bit of cake and lots of dirty looks. Extremely overpriced for what you're getting -- which is prejudice and a bad attitude. Don't waste your time or money. Never again.
