I just got my new glasses yesterday, and I love them! I am so happy to be able to see more clearly and I got them even faster than the original time quoted.

I have looked forever to find an eye doctor in Michigan who focuses on prevention and eye health. Dr. Totten was so amazing and takes pictures of your retina as a regular part of care and not just when there is a problem. That is something that is hard to find in our area.I felt that his exam was incredibly thorough.

He was also fun to chat with and seems like a really great person. The office is clean and has a great vibe. I'd highly recommend this office if you're looking for a new eye doctor!

Had horrible experience at another eye facility so I was skeptical about trying another place( was going to order them online). But, I immediately love the atmosphere of the building. We were helped right away and every member of the staff made you feel like you were right at home. They answered all my questions and then also help me schedule an appointment for myself. This is definitely my families new eye care place. I would absolutely recommend this business and the fact that it's a family owned really helps this momma bear trust them with her cubs and their vision needs. The whole visit took 10 minutes if that. That's what I call amazing and speedy service.

A really great experience! Love that it’s a local, family owned business. They have advanced tech and equipment at the office. Made for a more comfortable exam than what I have had other places. The staff was so friendly. Dr. Totten was great! She even answered some extra questions about my baby’s eyes during my exam. Thank you so much Dr. T, Becca, Sam, and team for taking care of me!

Side note: they were not in network with my insurance, but the prices were super fair for out of network patients. Especially with the level of service I got. It was 100% worth it!

15-20 years ago, I met Dr. Douglas Totten. I grew up legally blind and poor, without a lot of resources or help for my visual difficulties due to Marfan Syndrome. When I walked into Dr. Totten's office, my life changed. He took the time, made the effort, and changed my life. Because of him and his efforts, I was propelled forward and able to accomplish what I was always told would be impossible for me. I drive, I lead a normal life, I am now working on my second Master's degree and am working to help others as an addiction counselor and soon to be therapist in Kansas. I firmly believe that without his help and his effort, I would not have made it so far. Thank you so much for caring, Dr. Totten. For the effort you put into helping me. I walked away not only being able to clearly see my reflection in the mirror for the first time in my life, but also with the ability, drive, and desire to do so much more. You have forever positively impacted my life.

Amazing service even without an exam in their office they were attentive and helpful and happy to accept my coupon and insurance. They were so friendly and Andrew was the best, such a great experience!!! (especially after Eye Care One that same week basically shooed me out of their office when I paid cash for the exam, none of their people had any interest in helping to find glasses and tried to send me out ASAP). Sad to say I am used to it with Medicaid, but this place treated me as a real person and I'm more than happy to give them my business and money! They also had dozens more glasses in the style I was looking for than Eye Care One.

Absolutely wonderful place! I felt like they actually cared about any concerns you had regarding the health of your eyes and were thorough in their care of testing. Choosing new glasses was great and they had such a great selection. So glad I researched and found this office!

Been going here for decade, the staff are always friendly and kind. The equipment always reliable. The options immense. The level, detail and knowledge of the staff is always at the peak of the eye care profession.

Dr. Totten and his staff are a wonderful. They know all the right surgeons to refer you to. From cataract to muscle surgery. Such good outcomes have happened to me.

I have been seeing Dr Totten for years. The staff in the office are incredibly friendly and helpful. I've never felt rushed, and they always take time to answer questions. Highly recommended.

I love this place the staff is very friendly not a long wait to see the doctor and they make sure you are comfortable doing the eye exam

Great place very friendly and accommodating if I had any questions however weird they answered honestly and didnt judge I love this place for my kids they feel comfortable and the staff are sweet when talking to the kids also.
