Hummingbird Hill B&B is wonderful, beautiful, and enchanting. Chet is such a gracious host. The room was very clean, the bed very comfortable, and the view...magnificent. If you want to hear the history of this antique farmhouse he's happy to share, and if you want to be left alone, he'll do that to. The breakfast is so delicious and you overlook the lake, the trees, the mountains, and Chet's own 6 hole golf course, as you enjoy. The grounds are so peaceful and thoughtfully designed. There's a sandy beach waiting for you at the bottom of Hummingbird Hill. Grab a chair, and indulge in the quiet beauty of this spot. I highly recommend it and we'll go back.

Hummingbird Hill is amazing!!! As avid bed an breakfast enthusiasts, our hosts Chet and Dee were welcoming, friendly and very comfortable to hang out with. The inn is a restored farmhouse overlooking a gorgeous view of the pond. The house showcases a wonderful collection of antiques. Chet cooked us up a delicious farmhouse breakfast of blueberry pancakes, perfect bacon, eggs and coffee made just right. The view out the back window was breathtaking!!! The beds were so comfy, we snuggled in for an afternoon nap and slept 3 hours... We are leaving well rested and full of love for this place. We will definitely go back!!!

From the moment we arrive we are treated like family or good friends. Our hosts, Dee and Chet, are gracious, friendly and warm; we are immediately put at ease. This lovely, quaint farmhouse is beautifully decorated with many treasures. And each treasure has a story. Our bedroom is charming, comfortable and well equipped with a private bath, WiFi and television. The inviting living room-complete with oversized sofa and generous flatscreen television -is there for our convenience. The dining room, full of interesting artifacts holds its own narrative of days gone. We learn that this dwelling was once part of the Underground Railroad. There is a cozy breakfast room where we choose to start each morning. “Chef” Chet daily whips up delicious meals that are hard to resist. And then there is my favorite- the eclectically furnished kitchen where we sit, sip a cup of coffee and share stories. This is Hummingbird Hill, appropriately named for the beautiful creatures that abound. During the day, these tiny birds hover and dart all around us and display their iridescence. In the evening, relaxing on the terrace which overlooks splendid, tranquil Center Pond, there is a different show. A multitude of dragonflies light up the sky with their creative dance. A spectacle of wonder. Down at the pond we take a pontoon ride, choose a canoe or kayak to explore the pond or just take a dip in the clean, serene water. And if we just want to relax, there are two sizable hammocks waiting to be enjoyed and a lovely garden to just sit and be one with nature.
This Bed and Breakfast was a surprise anniversary getaway from my husband and I am so grateful because we got to not only spend quality time here but we had the pleasure of meeting two amazing people. We would highly recommend it.
We arrived as strangers and left as friends.
