Cotton Restaurant

Amazing meal. We sat at the bar and our service was perfect. The meal was delicious. Best Meatloaf, Mashed potatoes and broccoli!! The crab cakes over the corn/bean combo unbelievable.

We had loved this place when we formerly lived in the Manchester area, and returning there tonight didn't disappoint! The addition of a lamb frites dish was a welcome (and delicious) surprise, and a chocolate torte had a truly decadent quality. Great place as always, from the bread to begin your meal to its finish.

Fried chicken was great, lamb was good, meatloaf was just like home.
Mixed drinks were delicious.
Great attentive service.

Recommend reservations, it was busy.
Price was good considering the food and service.

Our server was so great, he was always making sure we had plenty of water. The steak was cooked to perfection!! And the chocolate torte blew my mind

We went to celebrate our anniversary on a Friday night. Everything was perfect. We were seated right away. Our server, Brian was attentive and personable. They even brought us out two glasses of champagne. It is one of our favorite places to go.

A hidden gem! I get to eat in the most amazing places all over the US...BY FAR, tonight I found my favorite! The staff was amazing, the decor and environment was classy casual (suit or sweats!) And THE FOOD!!!! OMG by far the cleanest tasting...every herb, every natural flavor, every single bite was something to write home about!! If you're in Manchester, NH...THIS IS WHERE YOU SHOULD EAT! The prices were great and I met the chef and the wife and son and they are kind, down to earth, approachable people who obv just love what they do! THANK YOU for a 1st class meal! Can't wait to come back!!

Overall, I rate Cotton very highly. There was a glitch in the kitchen that meant my meal was not ready when everyone else's was. I had to wait at least 10+ minutes while everyone else began eating. I'm also the slowest eater in our group, which made it even worse. But the wait staff were super apologetic, and when my food came it was excellent. All 8 people in our group really enjoyed their food, and our waitress was very personable and did her best to make us comfortable and kept checking to see if we needed anything. She even stood and chatted with us about different things; very friendly! I would look forward to going back to Cotton in the future.

We walked in not realizing we needed reservations on a Saturday night. They were very accommodating and sat us rite away. The food was excellent and the drinks were tasty. Recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for some traditional food choices in the Manchester area.

I visited Cotton about two weeks ago and I STILL have not stopped thinking about the food. It’s very rare that I finish my plate when I eat out but I most definitely did here. The crab cakes are unbelievable! Our waitress was so sweet and knowledgeable she gave us some great suggestions which panned out to be one of the best meals I’ve had in Manchester in a long time. The outdoor area was perfect and so romantic. I look forward to coming back very soon.

When we entered this restaurant (with a cool urban vibe), our request for a booth in the bar was immediately accommodated. Our server, Joe, was very welcoming and attentive. His menu recommendations were spot on but I think with this chef owned restaurant, you can’t go wrong with whatever you order! We had Jambalaya, the house steak and the buttermilk fried chicken (with gravy and mashies) - the latter, to absolutely die for!! We skipped dessert, as the helpings were generous. We later met the manager, Brian, who was very friendly and enjoyable to talk with, telling us more about the restaurant and the chef/manager husband/wife team that owns Cotton. He recommended we try the Calamari when we return - and that we will!

Always an amazing experience at Cotton. It has been consistently delicious for years. The mashed potatoes are a staple with just about every meal with a wide range of sauces accompanying the dishes. Drinks were delicious as always and the apps were a highlight as well. Reservations full up fast, so make sure you plan ahead!

My wife and I tried out Cotton for the first time for our anniversary. We were greeted and congratulated by the hostess who seated us in a cozy corner of the banquette. The restaurant was full as expected for a Friday night but did not feel crowded and was not overly loud.

Our server was polite and attentive without being hovering. We started with drinks and bread followed by the Asian Pot Stickers for an appetizer. We each had a salad, one Caesar and one Simple Green salad. For dinner we tried the Bistro Steak and the Meatloaf. Dessert was the Lemon Creme Cake. Everything was delicious and the pace of the meal was perfect. Nothing was rushed and neither did we wait too long. The prices are on par with what one would expect from this type of restaurant.

There is a small free parking lot which fills quickly and ample space in a paid public parking lot that is adjacent. It is conveniently located off the highway and walking distance from everyplace downtown.

Overall, it was a pleasant experience and we would highly recommend anyone try it.

Had an excellent dinner with my wife and would recommend this restaurant to anyone who is looking for a nicer place to eat. Food was outstanding! We had the Sweet and Spicy Popcorn Shrimp, Cotton's Bistro Steak & New England Lobster Scallop Ravioli.

I just had a fabulous meal with my husband. All of the dishes are quality and delicious! You can tell alot of thought was put into the menu options and alot of hard-work in the kitchen, bar and waitstaff. We will be back for sure and can't wait to try some more different dishes! Drinks were delicious! Had a dirty martini - it was crazy good, and espresso martini was just okay. Buffalo chicken bites are tasty and easy to eat! I had a special (pear and goat cheese salad with salmon) and hubby had Jambalaya, which he loved. Enjoyed our dinner, atmosphere and service.

Great little restaurant. Food was very good, drinks well done. Beer selection not very big but still several to choose from. Waitress very attentive and friendly. Best to make a reservation as it was packed on Tuesday.

Cotton was an awesome anniversary experience for us!
I heard about this place last year, but have been crazy busy with work and a new baby boy. My wife and I visited tonight for our anniversary and were very pleased.
Our waitress Tori was extremely friendly, prompt and courteous.
We had a couple drinks to begin then Vermont creamery baked goat cheese with marinara fresh-baked ciabatta bread. We also tried the Tuna tataki appetizer. Both were excellent!!

My wife had the New Hampshire lobster and scallop ravioli. I had the buttermilk herb fried chicken breast.
Because of our personal contests and ratings- I won the meal. Fried chicken was awesome. Perfectly seasoned and cooked.
The ravioli was very tasty.
But get the fried chicken. Or delmonico steak. Or homemade meatloaf. Or sea scallops. Or pistachio crusted salmon. Or lamb steak.

Just. Go. Try. Something.
It's awesome.
We will be be returning for sure, hopefully much sooner than our next anniversary.

We have been here numerous times & have never had a bad experience. From the service to the food everything has always been excellent! One of our favorite spots in town for a quiet & quaint date night 🥰
