Contoocook Covered Bridge Restaurant

Driving around and stumbled on this little treasure. It is located across the street from the covered bridge. Food was excellent. Nice assortment on the menu very fairly priced. Everything was fresh. We can recommend the chicken quesadilla, the french onion soup, the sandwiches and the kids grilled cheese with fresh cut home made real fries

Beautiful presentation. The French Onion Soup was slightly sweet with both Swiss and Parmesan cheeses. The Orange Chicken was more than a Chinese dish. The chicken was perfectly cooked with a crisp outside and a juicy inside. The sauce was light yet flavorful. The rice was seasoned with bouillon. Accompanied by a Parmesan corn, the pork ribeye was topped with a mango chutney. The ribeye was marbled with fat which I didn’t care for, but I know many people find delicious. The service was fantastic. Polite, cheerful, efficient and enthusiastic. An overall great experience. I would definitely return to try their other sauces.

This place is awesome. On a trip to Vermont got off the highway and found this place. Took a little while waiting to get in but a wonderful atmosphere. All the people were great.

We had a fantastic lunch here today. We both had the Quinua tacos from the specials. They were amazing. If they were on the main menu it would be a must do weekly for this vegetarian....my bro who is not loved them as well. A great addition in any case. Our waitress Reeghan was fantastic as well, super cheery fun and on it. Had to write a review it was all so yummy...the perfect lunch.

We only did takeout and ate outside because it was late, but I loved my BLT and sweet potato fries. While we were waiting, the staff was super friendly and sounded like those dining in we're having a fun time. It's a lovely little gem and I'll looking forward to visiting again!

Had a fantastic experience eating here today. Delicious food with hearty portions,friendly staff and a beautiful view of the river out the window. Food took a tad on the long side but that's just me nit picking to give a well rounded review. The food is so good its well worth the wait in my Opinion,I will definitely be coming back again!

We came to this pace on our way back from Vermont and where super pleased with the food and kind service. The specials were creative and delicious. Also the prices were very reasonable given the quality of the meals! I’m going to have to stop by again on my next trip north!

A great place to have a bite while listening to local musicians on a Friday or Saturday night. The burgers are fantastic! Their food and drink specials are always interesting and yummy. The staff is always friendly!

Great food with a nice family atmosphere. Everything I've ordered has been fresh and tasty, and the variety is impressive. Not to mention the friendly staff and beautiful view. Worth the trip!

We both had steak tips with shrimp and scallops. It was a great meal overall. Service was great. Food was fast, hot and cooked to perfection. We are definitely going back!

I will only right a review if a place is super bad or super good. Well skip the chain restaurant and try this place! Clean and the food is awesome! Staff was great! But the food! OMG my Black and Blue steak tips were amazing! The stuffed mushrooms were so good we inhaled them lol.

We just moved to the area in July. This is our new favorite place. Great food, great menu variety, and love the staff. Great area as well.

Very good food. Very nice people. It was a Thursday evening and was not busy at all. We will go again then in the area.

Good food at reasonable prices. I had an amazing steak with blue cheese butter that was delicious! My husband had stuffed haddock with Newburg sauce. We both loved the food! Yummy!

The food is consistently fantastic...soups are soooo good and the roasted salmon is spot on. Haven't had a bad meal. Service sometimes slow but worth the wait..trust me.

My lunch of Curry Soup and 1/2 of a BLT sandwich was super! Great price. Strong black coffee. Great server.

Best French Onion soup I have EVER had!

This is a great little restaurant in the heart of downtown Contoocook. We eat here at least once a week. The food is always good and the staff treats you like family. Very highly recommend it!
